The untold story of a young couple falling in love and getting married against the backdrop of disaster. Serhiy first laid eyes on Iryna under the swirling lights of the best disco in town. She was wearing a cool jumpsuit with a bright red belt, which drew attention to her waist as she wiggled to the pulsing beat. Serhiy was freshly discharged from the Red Army and was happy to be able to let his hair down. He thought Iryna was beautiful and couldn't take his eyes off her. He wouldn't work up the courage to ask Iryna out until a few days later, but once they started dating, Club Edison 2 became a favourite haunt and they looked forward to the weekly discos. The man behind the decks was DJ Alexander Demidov, a legend on the night life scene, known for his pioneering shows. He wasn't just choosing tracks; he was the pilot, the chief guide, the organiser of the dance. He was constantly talking to the crowd to say how, what, and where they were going next. Club Edison2 quickly became known as the best disco in Ukraine. He did have to jump through some hoops first though. It was 1986 and DJ Alexander had to have his playlist approved by the Soviet state. Often he would sneakily play banned foreign records that had been illegally smuggled in for a rapturous crowd hungry for anything from the West, from beyond the Iron Curtain, from outside the Soviet Union. His disco became something more: a sanctuary where forbidden Western songs pulsed through speakers, fashions were improvised, and young people tasted freedom despite the watchful eye of the state. It was risky, but a risk worth taking for this was no ordinary crowd. This was a dance floor full of the brightest and best from across all 15 countries that made up the Soviet union. This was a disco for the people of Pripyat, an ‘atom-grad', or nuclear city, built especially for the scientists and workers at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It was a place designed to embody the future. It was in Pripyat that Serhiy and Iryna would fall in love. The city was one of the best places to live in the Soviet Union: good jobs, full shops, beautiful scenery and great nightlife. It's where they planned their future together, in a city that seemed safe. They planned to get married on Saturday 26th April 1986. But the night before the wedding, they felt the ground shake and heard a booming sound. It came from the direction of the nuclear power plant. On the morning of the wedding, as Serhiy went to pick up his best man from the station, he found the streets full of soldiers wearing gas masks and washing the streets down. Rumours swirled that there had been an accident at the Nuclear reactor, but nothing official was said. They called the authorities who told them they must still hold their wedding. As engineers and firefighters battled an unfolding nuclear catastrophe, the city's residents were told nothing. Iryna and Serhei married, smiling for photographs, but stumbling during their much practiced waltz, as unease rippled through the room. By the end of the wedding reception, the celebration descended into chaos. Still in her wedding dress, Iryna ended up running barefoot through the streets as evacuation orders spread, leaving behind her home, her possessions, and the city where their love had begun. The Last Dance Floor in Chernobyl tells the story of DJ Alex, Serhiy and Iryna and what happens to them after the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the worst nuclear accident the world has ever seen. Jordan Dunbar follow's their lives before and after, through forced exile, confusion, health fears, and the struggle to rebuild a life shaped by disaster. Jordan Dunbar traces the paths of Iryna, Serhiy and DJ Alex across decades, from the last dance floor in Chernobyl to new beginnings elsewhere. This is a story of love and music, of ordinary people caught up in history, and of a love strong enough to survive what felt like the sudden end of their world.Presenter: Jordan Dunbar Producers: Phoebe Keane and Neal Razzell Editor: Justine Lang Sound mix: James Beard Production Coordinator: Gemma Ashman Voice over actors: Hanna Komar, Oleksandr Begma, Anatolii Panchenko and Gregory ZhygalovThe contributors all feature in the TV documentary What Happened at Chernobyl, directed by Paul Harris, Executive Producer Vara Szajkowski, Assistant Producer Ellie Jacobs. Matt Walsh joins Allie Beth Stuckey for his first discussion about Episode 3 of his groundbreaking Daily Wire docuseries “Real History,” which dives deep into the untold truths of the American Civil War. Walsh challenges the mainstream narrative by exploring why the conflict wasn't simply a moral crusade over slavery, examining the complex mix of political power struggles, economic differences, cultural divides, and the spirit of secession that echoed America's own founding. He also sheds new light on figures like General Robert E. Lee — a brilliant Virginian torn between loyalty to the United States and defense of his home state — and questions how the North shaped the history we've been taught. Plus, Matt shares how he's become radicalized on criminal justice thanks to the suspected killer of Iryna Zarutska being found unfit to stand for trial. Matt reacts to soft-on-crime policies that prioritize criminals over victims and explains how the psychiatric industry has become a plague excusing the worst behavior in society. They also react to a bizarre clip in which Jennifer Siebel Newsom tries to use her trauma to relate to juvenile delinquents. Share the Arrows 2026 is on October 10 in Dallas, Texas! The Great Product Owner: Market-Oriented and Vision-Driven "Great product owners don't just manage backlog items — they own the product vision and make sure the team understands how their work creates real value." — Iryna Stelmakh   Iryna describes the best product owners she's worked with through three qualities. First, they understand the market and the users deeply. Second, they can explain the business logic behind decisions — not just what to build, but why it matters. Third, they work closely with the team and treat them as partners in solving problems, not executors of tasks. The best PO Iryna worked with was responsible for sharing the business mindset, giving the team perspective and the possibility to contribute beyond the technical work. Everything was organized around a shared goal, and the team understood how their work created real value. As Vasco observes, when a PO just drops tasks without explaining why they matter, the team becomes "just a pair of hands." Great product owners create allegiance through understanding.   Self-reflection Question: Does your product owner share enough business context that your team could independently suggest features or improvements — or are they only able to execute what they're told? The Bad Product Owner: The Firewall Who Blocks All Business Context "We were working without the product mindset, without the product vision." — Iryna Stelmakh   Iryna shares the story of what she calls the Firewall Product Owner — a PO who constantly said "I need to go ask someone" for every decision, but never brought back answers. The result: backlog items lacked clarity, priorities changed frequently, and the team couldn't understand the real product direction. They were working without a product mindset or vision. As Vasco frames it, this PO wasn't just a proxy — they were a firewall, blocking the team from accessing any business context or market knowledge. The team couldn't reach the market representatives because they didn't even know who was on the other side.   Iryna's approach to this kind of situation: escalate with suggestions, not just complaints. Turn problems into opportunities and extensions — propose bringing in a business analyst to support the PO, or suggest restructuring the communication between the business and technical sides. In her case, the client eventually recognized the problem and replaced the PO with someone who could actually bridge the gap. The new PO changed everything.   In this episode, we also refer to the concept of turning problems into opportunities.   Self-reflection Question: When your product owner is unable to provide timely answers, do you escalate with specific suggestions for improvement — or do you simply wait and hope things get better?   [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

Iryna Stelmakh: The Almost Invisible Scrum Master, Why Team Independence Is the Ultimate Success Metric Read the full Show Notes and search through the world's largest audio library on Agile and Scrum directly on the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast website: http://bit.ly/SMTP_ShowNotes.   "A successful Scrum Master is almost invisible — not because they don't contribute, but because the team is no longer dependent on them for every decision." — Iryna Stelmakh   Iryna offers a powerful definition of success for Scrum Masters: becoming almost invisible. Not because the Scrum Master isn't contributing, but because the system works — with or without them. The team takes ownership of delivery, solves problems collaboratively, and continuously improves its own process. Each team member can propose, vote, and suggest changes because the environment has a high level of trust.   When that happens, Iryna explains, the Scrum Master becomes more of a system observer and catalyst rather than a daily driver. As Vasco adds, this perspective is valuable because it looks beyond personal metrics — it examines behaviors across all the interactions the Scrum Master facilitates: between the team and the product owner, between the team and stakeholders during reviews, and within the team itself. The Scrum Master role sits at the nexus of many interactions, and success means those interactions work well even when you step back.   Self-reflection Question: If you were absent for a full sprint, would your team maintain the same quality of collaboration, decision-making, and delivery — or would things fall apart without you? Featured Retrospective Format for the Week: The Energy Retrospective Iryna shares her favorite retrospective format — one she calls the Energy Retrospective. Instead of the standard "what went well / what didn't" framing, it asks three questions: What gave us energy this sprint? What drained our energy? And what should we start, stop, or continue doing to keep our energy at the right level?   This approach shifts the conversation from purely technical task problems to real human dynamics. As Iryna explains, closing technical tasks and resolving issues is important, but so is the wellness of the team. The Energy Retrospective creates space for both. She also notes that retrospective format should match the team: for open, trusting teams, a straightforward format works fine. But for new teams or teams with high resistance — those still in the forming stage where the Scrum Master isn't yet a trusted figure — she uses metaphorical approaches, like asking team members to pick pictures that represent their feelings about the sprint. Even a happy, sad, or frustrated monkey picture can surface insights that direct questions might not.   [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

Iryna Stelmakh: Fighting Agile Theater, When Organizations Adopt the Ceremonies But Not the Mindset Read the full Show Notes and search through the world's largest audio library on Agile and Scrum directly on the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast website: http://bit.ly/SMTP_ShowNotes.   "Transparency can be uncomfortable, but without transparency, there is no real improvement." — Iryna Stelmakh   Iryna brings a challenge she calls "Agile Theater" — organizations that implement all the visible parts of Agile (the ceremonies, the boards, the terminology) while the underlying mindset remains unchanged. Decisions stay centralized, transparency is avoided, and problems are hidden. As she puts it: "Teams go through the emotions of Agile without actually benefiting from it."   But her real challenge goes deeper. Iryna shares a story about building trust with outsourcing clients. Five days into a new assignment on a project the company had worked on for over ten years, she received an email listing team members to be removed — with no explanation. It was a red flag: the absence of transparency signaled that the client relationship lacked the trust bridge needed for genuine collaboration.   Iryna's response was characteristically direct. She organized a call with stakeholders and discovered the client operated on quarterly budget cycles — these cuts could happen every three months. Instead of accepting the loss, she shifted the cut team members to other projects within the same account, turning the problem into an opportunity. A QA engineer moved to another project that needed one. A developer and two others got upsold into a team extension. Nobody ended up on the bench.   Then came the systemic fix: Iryna set up one-on-one meetings with each stakeholder across different divisions to stay informed in advance. Prevention over reaction — because, as she says, reactions cost more.   Self-reflection Question: In your current engagement, do you have direct relationships with the people who make budget and staffing decisions — or would a surprise email catch you completely off guard?   [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

Iryna Stelmakh: When Communication Clarity Matters More Than Technical Complexity, A Healthcare Project That Fell Apart Read the full Show Notes and search through the world's largest audio library on Agile and Scrum directly on the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast website: http://bit.ly/SMTP_ShowNotes.   "Communication clarity is more important than technical complexity, because if you do not understand, it's pretty hard to execute." — Iryna Stelmakh   Iryna shares one of her most painful career stories — a project in the healthcare domain focused on cancer treatment research data. When she joined, she was managing around 9 projects simultaneously and agreed to take this one on the condition that a strong technical lead would own the technical direction. The project began with a critical misunderstanding: sales had communicated that the client needed a database redesign, but the client actually needed a migration to a different database type. Similar words, fundamentally different work.   For three months, the team worked through research and discovery phases, trying to understand the actual problem. But communication gaps — compounded by language barriers between the Ukrainian development team and the US-based client — prevented them from identifying the real need in time. Iryna trusted the technical lead's reports that everything was on track. She relied instead of checking. Eventually, the client lost confidence and left. It remains the only project in her career she considers a genuine failure.   The lesson cuts deep: teams must have people who can ask the right questions early. As Vasco observes, the root cause was implicit assumptions that were never discovered or explored by the different people involved.   In this episode, we also talk about the importance of the monitoring and controlling phase in project management.   Self-reflection Question: When you trust a team member's assessment that "everything is fine," what verification steps do you take to confirm that understanding is truly shared across all stakeholders? Featured Book of the Week: Team Topologies by Matthew Skelton and Manuel Pais Iryna recommends Team Topologies by Matthew Skelton and Manuel Pais as a book that changed how she thinks about Agile leadership. "Great agile leadership is not only about frameworks, but it's about communication, influence, and the ability to align people around shared goals," she explains. The book helped her understand that Agile isn't just about team process — it's about organizational structure, team boundaries, and responsibilities. She also recommends Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss for Scrum Masters who want to sharpen their communication and influence tactics. As Iryna puts it, communication is one of the most important skills a Scrum Master must have.   [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

For this client, agility meant unlimited flexibility — the freedom to extend not just the product backlog but the sprint backlog, multiple times per sprint. As Vasco points out, this is a pattern many teams recognize: when there's no cost to disrupting a sprint, it becomes effortless to keep piling on work, destroying the very predictability that sprints are designed to create.   Iryna struggled to push back. It was one of her first projects, and the client was confident in his approach. But the experience taught her a lasting lesson: the collaboration with external clients must start with an agreement about how the team works. That means explaining the methodology during the pre-sale phase, documenting it in the contract, and teaching the client the benefits of the process before the work begins. As she puts it, when she checked back with the sales and engagement teams, she realized nobody had set those expectations. She relied instead of checking — and paid the price. Once she held sessions with the client to explain how Scrum works and what it delivers, things shifted. New tasks went into the product backlog and were prioritized properly through refinement, not dumped into active sprints.   Self-reflection Question: When was the last time you verified that your client or stakeholders truly understand how your team works — not just the label, but the actual rules and commitments?   [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

Darrell Castle talks about the State of the Union Address by reviewing a few of the things President Trump said and the reaction of his opponents, as well as providing a Constitutional response. Transcription / Notes SOTU – A RESPONSE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. This is Friday the 27th day of February in the year of our Lord 2026. I will be talking about the State of the Union Address delivered last Tuesday by President Donald Trump. I will comment on a few of the things he said and on the reaction of his opponents to those things and then I will do what I am often asked to do and that is give a Constitutional response. The President spoke for almost two hours the longest speech in SOTU history. He spoke mostly about the achievements of his second term and he mentioned that America is entering a golden age. He emphasized patriotism and heroes and he invited many of them to the speech including the gold medal winning men's Olympic hockey team. According to the reports I've seen more than 70 Democrats chose not to attend the speech but most of them did and they exercised their choice which was to set and glare straight ahead or occasionally to boo him. He noticed and called them out repeatedly for their failure to muster even the most basic bipartisanship in moments that should have been beyond partisan politics. For example, the President invited “a woman who has been through hell,” Anya Zarutska, whose daughter Iryna fled war torn Ukraine only to be murdered on a train in Charlotte North Carolina.  Yes, the killer had many past felonies only to be released on bail when he killed Iryna with a knife. The Democrats could not muster any energy to stand for her mother. That was bad but not the worst moment for Democrats. He held them up for the whole country to see in their worst moment and they went for it. “One of the great things about the State of the Union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe. So, tonight, I'm inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.” Who, in good conscience could not agree with that statement and Republicans certainly did. They stood, clapped, and whistled for a full two minutes in a raw, spontaneous reaction, but the Democrats didn't even move. Not a shuffle or even a courtesy clap, just nothing. He let that sink in for a moment then twisted the knife. “isn't that a shame? You should be ashamed of yourselves, not standing up.” I think people noticed as post speech polls indicated especially since illegal immigration was the most important issue of the 2024 election. His invitation to stand was not an attack on immigrants, nor was it hateful. Instead, it was a simple invitation to endorse common sense publicly. The American people elect and pay their leaders and in exchange for power and the honor of election those leaders must prioritize the needs of their constituents. It is the most basic social contract of the American government and it's hard to see how anyone could not grasp it immediately. However, I will point out that the theme transcends immigration. Whether you call it America first or you simply understand that we are all Americans and illegal immigrants especially murderers, torturers, and rapists are not, it is or should be a basic requirement of holding office. Washington is now filled with politicians who have agendas that take priority in their minds over Americans. Yes, for some its Ukraine first, for some its Somalia first, and for some perhaps even the President its Israel first. Now, let me finalize this concept and attempt to link it to Constitutional government and what that would mean. My view is that anyone who thinks that there is a single group who should come ahead of Americans in the minds of officeholders should not be in politics. Let them get a job in Silicon Valley, but please stay away from politics. In reference to the Constitution, I want to say a few words about Iran and what appears to be steamrolling toward an extended war. Like refusal to stand for the concept that American politicians should put the interests of Americans ahead of those of illegal immigrants, American politicians are bound by oath to the Constitution to oppose the drive to fight wars and attack other countries which have not harmed America in any way on behalf of others. This coming war is so obviously unconstitutional that I wonder if anyone in Washington even knows what it means anymore. I will also point out that if the U.S. Constitution is not enough for some of our globalist neo-con politicians, it is also a clear violation of the U.N. Charter which the U.S. signed in 1948. The charter forbids attacking countries which have not harmed you and are not a threat to you but the U.S. has done that many times especially since 1991. A nation does not have to attack to violate the charter because even threats and intimidation are also forbidden. The threat to Iran of you have 10 days to comply with my demands or something very bad will happen to you is an obvious violation. The idea of I am much stronger than you and you have something I want so if you don't give it to me I will take it by force is also an obvious violation. I oppose an attack on Iran for many reasons and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Dan Caine apparently agrees with me. He has reportedly warned the President that an act of war against Iran carries significant risks including a prolonged conflict with high casualties. I understand that General Caine has the President's respect so maybe his views will prevail over Bibi's but I doubt it. Rumors abound that on one of Bibi's six visits to the Trump White House he threatened the President with what is known as the Samson option. In other words, it you don't do this thing for me I will bring down the entire temple by attacking Iran with nuclear weapons. There can be no reasonable doubt at this point that the coming war is for the purpose of greater Israel. If you don't believe me I invite you to listen to Tucker Carlson's interview with Ambassador Mike Huckabee conducted in Israel about a week ago. In that interview Huckabbe essentially admitted it and said it would be OK. Back to honoring the U.S. Constitution I have spent 37 years of my life defending it along with Western Civilization itself. I now have no confidence that the battle can be won. In other words, it appears that I lost the battle and a return to Constitutional government is impossible. As you probably know, I was a presidential candidate for the Constitution Party and I knew then that by some chance if I was elected it would mean great sacrifice and possibly even death so let's look at why I feel that way. Politicians seek power to get ahead, and to use the near monopoly on violence the government has to achieve those goals. They become seekers of largesse, and there are other words to describe it, but they seek largesse and they exchange it for votes and for special treatment. Subsidies for certain industries are clear examples of this. The subsidies given to corn farmers require corn ethanol to be mixed with gasoline. Now the corn producers say they could not survive without that largesse and any corn state politician who seeks to cancel it better consider a new line of work. The original ethanol requirement was to prevent global warming but the current President says it's a hoax, but the subsidies continue. Subsidies, bailouts, welfare, giveaways, and other shakedowns are not only unconstitutional, but they are also normally unnecessary and inefficient. For example, tariffs are essentially subsidies for selected industries, paid for by price hikes on consumers. The largesse that tariffs represent are put in place to favor a select group of beneficiaries and disfavor everyone else. Over time, the largesse builds up and becomes a huge drag on the economy. I grew up as a farmer's kid and we kept pigs whose meat the pigs sacrificed to feed us through the winter. With so many piglets sucking their mama the sow, the poor sow grows weaker and weaker, A once healthy, dynamic sow goes into decline and stagnates but the pigs are so addicted they cannot stop sucking until their mother can no longer feed them. So, I tell you what is necessary if this empire is to be saved from the disaster that appears inevitable but word of warning if you actually tried to do these things you would probably not survive. Empires have come and gone throughout history. They turn their money to trash by currency debasement, for example our own currency has lost 99.9% of its value relative to gold and we ask why things cost so much. Affordability crises they call it without any understanding of what actually causes it. Eventually, civil war and the struggle for remaining largesse destroys the empire and starvation and poverty are the result.  Old friend and economist Bill Bonner shares three essential things for a good beginning and I agree with Bill on all of them. So,” 1. protect the integrity of U.S. money and the money system. 2. Do not spend more than you take in, ever. This year revenue is projected at $4.9 trillion and spending is projected at $2 trillion more than that. 3. No wars, and I mean no wars that are not purely defensive.” This sacrificial candidate and hopefully President should announce no more deficits ever. No tariffs, no sanctions, no printing money to pay the debt and no more inflation because a balanced budget is non-negotiable. To do this, abolish the FED immediately. You will have to cut $2 trillion in spending and people will not take kindly to that but rip the band aid off quickly. Take your case directly to the people and tell them look folks we may be the greatest nation in the history of the world but we are going broke. Someone has to do it and if not me who, if not now, when. Explain to the voters that in fiscal year 2019 the $4.9 in revenue would have funded the entire government and it is going to again, this year. One other thing, this all depends on taking control of the military, industrial, intelligence, security, and spy complex so that must be done in conjunction. Remember the last President to attempt to control it was JFK. Never fear, just go on TV and tell the people why you are cutting $500 million from the war budget. Finally, folks, what are the chances the people would support a President who was determined to save his country and return to the Constitution? So close to zero that they could safely be listed as zero. At least that's the way I see it, Until next time folks, This is Darrell Castle, Thanks for listening.

Iryna Starovoyt is a poet and critic from Ukraine. She reflects on the 19th century poet and artist Taras Shevchenko - regarded as a totemic figure in Ukrainian literature, and whose name is on the country's highest award for Arts and Culture, the Taras Shevchenko National Prize.Katie Clarke, Director of Literature at The Reader organisation, shares her experiences of reading poetry with people who have dementia and the surprising power of poetry to make fresh connections at the individual and group level. We will ask about that and about his impression of how the law might affect public safety, as well as other issues facing the DA's office.

//The Wire//2300Z December 11, 2025////ROUTINE////BLUF: AUSTRALIAN AGE VERIFICATION LAW COMES INTO EFFECT. ARRESTS MADE IN LAST WEEK'S STABBING ATTACK IN CHARLOTTE.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Australia: Yesterday Australia's Age Verification law came into effect for most websites, effectively blocking the vast majority of social media to the entire nation, unless users upload a scan of their face to prove that they are over 16 years old, and thus allowed to be on social media.Caribbean: The tanker vessel seized by the United States yesterday has been identified as the M/T *SKIPPER*, one of the infamous "shadow fleet" vessels which is used to smuggle oil around the world. The *SKIPPER* was her most recent name change, and at the time of capture she was flying the flag of Guyana (though her registration status is dubious at best). As of this afternoon, AIS ship tracking platforms noted her position being just off the east coast of St. Lucia, heading north at around 10 kts.-HomeFront-North Carolina: More details have come to light regarding the stabbing attack that took place on the Blue Line commuter train in Charlotte last week. Back on December 5th, a stabbing was reported on the train, with the assailant eventually being arrested. At the time of the incident, the attacker was not identified, but after a few days authorities said the attacker was Oscar Gerardo Solorzano-Garcia, an illegal immigrant from Honduras who had multiple warrants out for past violent crimes, to include aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.Analyst Comment: From here, the situation takes a rather unfortunate turn. Solorzano stabbed a man on the train, who was hospitalized with severe wounds. Earlier this week, the victim was identified as Kenyon Dobie, and was lauded as a hero during the attack because of his efforts to confront the attacker to stop him from harassing other commuters. Dobie did intervene, and prevented the attacker from bothering other passengers, which resulted in him getting stabbed in the process. However, after this news story hit the local media, and the victim made statements in front of the camera, Dobie (the victim) was arrested. Turns out, he had open warrants for his own arrest for beating a pregnant woman so severely she received skull fractures during a domestic dispute. Both Solorzano and Dobie are being held in jail due to Iryna's Law preventing their release.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comment: Unlike many other cases of Digital ID being mandated around the world, Australia has implemented even more dystopian procedures to take effect during this rollout. Of note, the social media platforms which are known to cause extreme harm to children (such as Discord and Roblox) are exempt from the social media ban. However, the platforms that are affected, are impacted in very specific ways.As one might expect, VPNs are popular ways to circumvent such crackdowns on speech. However, the IP addresses associated with VPNs are public record, so social media companies can easily blacklist those IPs, effectively making VPNs useless for evading the ban. At least some platforms have been observed using these blacklists (but not all). For those in the United Kingdom wondering about how their own Digital ID scandal will play out, this might be a clue; Australia is providing a case study for what a more totalitarian crackdown on communications throughout the global West might look like. How serious platforms are taking this plan is anyone's guess, and reports vary widely. Some users report no issues whatsoever with being prompted to verify their age, whereas others have reported every app they have now requiring a face scan. Some users report that they can simply put in a false date of birth with no verification at all, and others report their accounts being hard-locked even though the mandate does
