With such an amazing voice we felt we needed to share with you another piece sung by the lovely Victoria Rodriguez. Here is what Victoria has to say about the piece: "In April of 2017 I had the humble pleasure of performing with the Metro Chamber Orchestra while at the same time premiering the orchestration of Deon Nielsen Price's song cycle To The Children of War with text taken from the Los Angeles times and poems from Maya Angelou. This piece carries the weight of the refugee burden of life in 1980's LA. It was beyond an honor to perform this piece with orchestra and with Deon, herself, who is a brilliant composer." Thanks to Tom Lee (@tomleewritesmusic) for recording and editing help. Your hosts: Shia (@queerfloete2018) and Katie (@femmekatie) Special thanks to Threadbare Music for hosting (@threadbaremusicnyc) You can find Victoria on insta @vic_torius_pursuit
