EP 11: You'll Get Over It *STORY TIME* This podcast is a little more on the personal side. I share my experience of being cyber bullied by someone who I considered very important to me at that specific time of my life. It was a long two years but I eventually figured out that I deserved better. Intro Song: The Way Life Goes Remix (feat. Nicki Minaj)- Lil' Uzi Vert Background Music: The Way Life Goes Remix (feat. Colourism is a HUGE problem in the Black community and in this podcast I want to share own thoughts and experiences about this issue Before you judge or hate, look at it from a dark skinned Black girls point of view. If you haven't gone through it, of course you won't understand. So just be open to listening
LOYALTY... Seems like that word has lost its meaning over time. Something so simple to ask for yet so hard for people to give. And this goes for relationships, friendships, family members etc. Being unfaithful has become so normalized in this generation. The more it happens, the more people settle for a partner who breaks their trust over and over again. For this episode I am joined with my girls Tashonta (the founder of Big Sisters Club), Kelsey (creator of “A Black History Month Celebration” website) and Nicole (owner of KitaGlam). We are discussing our opinions on unfaithfulness in a marriage/romantic relationship. Just want to say a BIG thank you to my girls for agreeing to be my guest speakers! It was an honour having you all featured on this podcast. Always love having these discussions with ya'll
Putting yourself first is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I believe that there is such thing as a good kind of selfish. Knowing your worth and knowing when to leave someone who is not worthy of you is key to self growth. Don't hurt yourself by choosing people who choose to not value you Intro Song: Don't Hurt Yourself(feat. Jack White)- Beyoncé Background Music: Don't Hurt Yourself (feat.
