In this interiew I learn about Daniel Garcia's humble beginnings growing up in Texas and how he became who he is today. When he was very young he watched David Copperfield on TV and turned to his parents and said, "That's what I am going to do." Though his parents didn't have much they supported him immensely in any way that they could. Danny tells some great stories of how hard he worked taking every gig he could, how he had moments questioning if he could make it in the business and how the production and release of Torn changed everything for him.

In part 2 of my interview with Xavier we cover questions submitted by Instagrammers! Best question we covered: Is it necessary to use difficult sleight of hand in order to do great magic?

Xavior and I discussed his newest release, Xavior's Rise, his life growing up in NYC and what lead him to magic and working as a paramedic. Xavior answered some questions from his fans and the best piece of advice he gave on this episode is for magicians to go out and have conversations with people without performing magic and working on being a better conversationalist. This has been my favorite interview so far. We talked about how magic intertwines with his personal philosophy, identity, and how to live authentically and be vulnerable with an audience. We talked for over an hour so I am going to break this up into two parts.

It's been awhile but the gang is finally back together! Chelsea, Erik and Sebastian get together to talk about what we have been up to... which is just stuff. Erik rails on the Slip Cut Force, Sebastian says he will work for beer and Chelsea creates a new catch phrase, "Go bleep yourself!"

I interview Trigg Watson and talk about his experience working as a magician on cruise ships. If you're a magician who has considered this as a job I would highly recommend checking this out! Even if you haven't thought about that I'd still recommend you listen because Trigg offers great insights into perfecting a magic routine.

Chelsea, Erik and Sebastian discuss the first magic trick they ever saw and when they saw real magic for the first time.

Chelsea Nichole sat down with Pipo at the Trics Convention and talked about his life growing up in Madrid and how he got into magic. Pipo is an engineer and works as an independent contractor while also working and performing as a magician. He got into magic at the age of 25 and before that he played guitar in a band.

Chelsea, Erik and Sebastian finish answering viewers questions and the last question had to do with recent Facebook posts. The first was regarding a Rick Lax status that had called out someone for uploading to YouTube for revealing magicians' methods. The second was Erik's own Facebook status about asking stupid questions in lectures.

Chelsea and Mahdi met at the Trics Convention November 2016 and while discussing the podcast for Sleighted they came up with the idea to do a segment called Story Toppers. Today we talked about the idea, told a few stories and made plans to do story toppers next week!
