Isn't it tough to find a good game? No more LFG for Matthew as he plays D&D using Mythic Game Emulator and rpgsolo. Let's see what sort of trouble he can get into while playing the best one shots and solos he can!
Here is what I did with the inspiration to get my world filled with kingdoms. Sometimes you need a little inspiration, and a lack of sleep helped me merge a scenario generated by REIGNS into this moment. Never let anyone talk you out of your inspiring moments.
Ironically, this episode is 3x as long as how long it takes to generate a character in Pathfinder 2.0 with this method. Note this is only for NPC or filler characters, but it could be a quick basis for a PC as well. You'll need: d8 - Races d20 - Level d10 - Alignment d10 - Ennegram d10 - Ennegram subset I also give an example of a recent character I created with this method, a 6th level Rock Dwarf Druid with a Giant Bat (limited) as an animal companion and a reason to be in two worlds at the same time. Perhaps I'll expand more on this character when it is all said and done. If you found value in this episode, please leave a rating and a comment. I would appreciate the feedback and understand what exactly you're looking for in future episodes!
Of course, madness and some strange activities means Xyzzyx knows what is going on, how it is happening, and also why puppies are so adorable. After running into one of the last remaining mages, it turns out this world is a little worse off than anticipated. What will happen next? What will happen in another universe? What happens in this universe? Find out on this episode of Solo Encounter!
Because this is how you start an unholy war. This Ghost King is pesky to say the least, and this time he has gone a bit too far. Of course, for Xyzzyx, it is a normal day for him but for everyone else? At least we're making progress and losing people at the same time so... win-win?
What is worse than having to squash someone's dreams? Squashing them because they are the reason for the world's end. This episode uncovers some unlikely events and might explain why everyone is so disinterested in answering Xyzzyx's questions on a daily basis. Besides, what's a little magic waggling between spellcasters anyway?
Sometimes you get people who want to learn magic, and sometimes you get people who want to use you. When you're a goblin, you get a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B. Will all of Xyzzyx's abuse to Varni come home to roost? Will they find a place to make it out in the town filled with dumb humans who can't answer questions? Will anyone get Xyzzyx's stuff from the inn before they burn it? None of these questions and less are answered in this episode of Solo Encounter!
Let's be honest: Diplomacy is not a goblin's best skill. However, with a little elbow grease, a lot of magic, and a deity's worth of shame and regret, Xyzzyx will get to the bottom of what happened to the alchemist or die trying. We'll leave it up to you to find out on this episode of Solo Encounter!
This episode covers what happens when you return a mad woman to her home and make her less mad. The magic is that it makes her more insane as part of the process. More is done, yet less is accomplished and, as always, no one answers Xyzzyx right away because goblin. The hunt turns interesting when the targeted person arrives of their own free will, but will what he asks for be too much? Find out this week on Solo Encounter!
Xyzzyx knows about having one of those days. Between meeting the local wizards to finding out that everyone hates selling to a goblin, the only thing positive to come out of the day is a young woman ready to throw herself into the wonderful world of necromancy. Will things ever change in this human centric world? Will they ever find out who this ghost is? Will someone EVENTUALLY answer Xyzzyx's questions? Find out this and more on Solo Encounter!
What happens when a Goblin Necromancer comes sailing into your town? You act normal. Just...normal. Nothing about a strange woman standing on the docks to greet him. Nothing about a goblin hating community that wants to run him out of town. Nothing about the goblin's short term memory issues since he is "smol" and is, in fact, a forgetful goblin. We welcome Xyzzyx to this strange land in the 2E edition of Wizard's Adventure for WotC. Maybe he might be able to upgrade accommodations?
What do you do when you can't get a good game started and the people you game with are hours away? You start your own podcast, use the tools available to you, and run your own game. This is Solo Adventure, a podcast where I run a game by myself using the Mythic Game Simulator and the website rpgsolo.com to mimic the feel of a game. Sure, it isn't perfect, but it is all I have and I will try anything I have for entertainment. This series starts off playing Wizard's Adventure from 2E as a test run. I might do something more creative later, but for now it is digging into the treasure troves of adventures, one offs and solos in order to have some fun. If any of this gets taken down, then you know I have received a C&D and...well...Xyzzyx ate my socks. So sit back, enjoy, and let's see what the adventure has in store for us!
