Send us a text#356 - On Veterans Day, I thought it was about time I give thanks to those to are willing to give the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live our lives and run our races. I give lots of veteran organizations that can help veterans and those who want to support vets, as well as races that we can participate in to help out. There's plenty of information this week for us to do what we can. Also, don't miss my update on the show website and what is going to happen next year as I plan for my upcoming retirement. All the links are on the show website. Just a quick note and something I should have noted in the episode: There are many unreputable companies and people who don't have the best intentions so be careful of what websites you visit. Make sure it's the real website before donating. If you have any doubts or questions, call the VA or look through the website itself to see if it's the one you want to give your hard-earned money to. Democrats won two governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey, victories they call a rejection of President Trump's policies and a sign that economic issues are resonating with voters. New York City elected Zohran Mamdani as its first Muslim mayor, defeating former governor Andrew Cuomo in a race that drew record voter turnout. And California voters approved a new congressional map that could give Democrats up to five more House seats in next year's midterms.Want more comprehensive analysis of the most important news of the day, plus a little fun? The crew heads to Las Vegas for SEMA 2025, bringing with them plenty of laughs, chaos, and one classic Dukes of Hazzard re-review: Season 1, Episode 12, “Route 711.” With Rob and Bernie on the ground (and Corndog holding down the home front), the team dives into the gambling-themed episode that mirrors their Vegas backdrop—complete with Bo and Luke unknowingly hauling a rolling casino, Uncle Jesse turning card-shark, and Cooter pulling strings behind the scenes. The guys also reveal some big updates for Kibbe and Friends: live Patreon broadcasts moving to a new platform, new YouTube plans for 2026, and the behind-the-scenes grind of capturing interviews across SEMA's sprawling show floor. From there, it's full-throttle storytelling—Dallas Kibbe's run at the Legends Asphalt Nationals, a turbocharged Holley feature, and a round of movie-car trivia that somehow loops Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Cars' Lightning McQueen into the mix. Add in Bernie's trademark “news you didn't ask for” (rogue monkeys and all), and you've got another classic K&F blend of cars, culture, and comedy. It's Vegas lights, Georgia dirt, and General Lee nostalgia rolled into one big laugh-filled episode. The post K&F Show #344: Dallas Races and the KF Show Hits Vegas for SEMA 2025! The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments this week on whether President Donald Trump has overstepped federal law with his tariffs. Trump said it would be a “disaster” for the United States if the justices failed to overturn lower court rulings that found he went too far in using an emergency powers law to put his tariffs in place. But the president said he won't go to the Supreme Court to hear the arguments in person.Nov. 4 is the first major election day of Trump's second term. Heated races in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City will test the popularity of Republicans—and the ideology of democratic socialism.
