Its finally here, the launch of The Funbined Cup! The boys welcome Jamie Longmate onto the Pod to discuss his team of Border Crossers as the first official entrant to the Funbined Cup. We never thought we would be discussing a team containing Figo, McClaren and Dexter Blackstock yet here we are! With the world of football almost turned on its head this week, the boys have decided to delay the launch of the Funbined Cup and focus on what everyone has been discussing, the rise and instant fall of The European Super League.

Season 2 starts here! The boys are back to kick off season 2 of the pod with another episode. There's an introduction to the new prediction league and also a quick run through of the upcoming Funbined Cup as well as a topical Funbined XI all around people with the name 'Phillip'. Make sure you listen until the end to hear our first ever encore and let us know if you had picked up on our 'oversight'.

However you feel about them, international breaks always generate lots of discussion around England and international football in general. With pubs across the land opening soon(ish) the biggest debate is sure to be, who should be in Gareth Southgate's squad for the Euros. With that in mind the boys take a look at the current England squad and draft two teams based on those players with a few wildcard picks to spice things up a bit. After a few weeks away from talking about the Premier League, the boys dive back in with a 60 second review of every team and how they have fared over the last month. They also take a look at the impact Ruben Dias has had on City this season compared to the impact Van Dijk has had on Liverpool. This then leads into this weeks Funbined XI where the boys come up with a team based on their signings of the season so far.

This week we have our first guest on to discuss whether the current Spurs side is worse than the United team Jose took to 2nd place in the league in the 2017/18 season. A strange scenario sees Joe, a Spurs fan, arguing why this current Spurs team is worse and Pete, a United fan, arguing why United were worse. Did Jose overachieve with United and is he underachieving with Spurs? All of the usual football chat as well as the return of Gardening Leave and a scathing review of the current implementation of VAR.

Funbined XI is back! In the spirit of the Transfer Window firmly slamming shut, the boys take on a Deadline Day Funbined XI. Superstars, bargains and of course Peter Odemwingie are all discussed as the lads pull together their joint XI.
