Huge controversy at the London Stadium as Arsenal snatch a massive three points away to West Ham. The Hammers thought they had rescued a dramatic injury-time equaliser, only for VAR to rule it out after a lengthy review. Was it the correct decision, and could VAR ultimately decide the Premier League title race? Meanwhile, Manchester City kept the pressure on with a win over Brentford to remain five points behind with a game in hand. But has that costly draw against Everton F.C. already sealed their fate? Elsewhere, Gary, Alan & Micah discuss AFC Bournemouth's incredible rise towards Champions League football and debate whether Andoni Iraola is making the right decision by leaving at the end of the season. Join Matt Clark (@MattClark_08) and Román De Arquer (@Aeroslavee) to recap the title-deciding weekend in LaLiga. It's official: Barcelona are champions. We knew it was coming for a good while now, but at last, Hansi Flick and his team can celebrate a second consecutive title. They won their 11th consecutive match to seal the title and for the first time ever, they confirmed the result by winning the Clásico. We salute the champions, discuss their record-equalling pace and begin to unpick where it all unravelled for Real Madrid. We also pay tribute to Hansi Flick, who was present at the game despite the passing of his father. Understandably emotional at full time, we evaluate his brilliant contribution to the club in the last two seasons.Elsewhere, there is still the race for Europe and the battle to avoid the drop. Celta closed the gap on Betis, but have they left their Champions League charge too late? Below them, no one else won this weekend, so it is still all to play for in the remaining weeks. At the bottom, Oviedo are all but done following their stalemate against Getafe. The result encapsulates their season: fighting and resisting against the odds, but ultimately coming up a little short. Above them, Levante, Sevilla and Valencia recorded big wins to help their respective causes.Levante came from 2-0 down to win on Friday night with forgotten man Etta Eyong scoring the winner in stoppage time. There was also a late winner for Sevilla, who condemned Espanyol to an 18th game without a win. Valencia went to Bilbao, missed a penalty, but still won thanks to Umar Sadiq, and they look almost home and hosed. Worryingly, Nico Williams went off injured, and his brother spoke ominously after the game. Beyond that, Elche and Alavés shared the spoils and Mallorca got a point against Villarreal with another goal from Vedat Muriqi. Stuttgart host Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow in a match that may decide who goes into next season's Champions League. Leverküsen are fourth in the league, one place above Stuttgart, but both teams have won more games than they have lost this season.Stuttgart are without a win in three Bundesliga games and have played out two straight stalemates, but Bayer Leverkusen have won four of their last five matches and have gone unbeaten on seven of their last eight road trips.
Dan Rolinson and John Townley preview Aston Villa's trip to Burnley where three points feels absolutely crucial in their aim to secure Champions League football. We also discuss the ticket situation with Villa's "Warehouse" venue, plus the decision NOT to screen the final inside Villa Park.

Arsenal and PSG advanced to the Champions League final, although both Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich may feel they were on the wrong side of some controversial refereeing decisions. Manchester City's 3-3 draw with Everton has handed the advantage back to Arsenal in the Premier League title race, but Eddie thinks that there's a good chance that there will be more slip-ups in the final couple of weeks. Frank decides to ragebait Eddie by bringing up Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt's addition to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And Eddie asks Frank about some complicated family dynamics and whether one should tip after receiving gambling winnings. Plus, early reactions to 'Widows Bay' and why Eddie is enjoying 'Rooster' more than he thought he would.

In this historic episode of ECP, the boys are here to bring you the preview of one of the most epic El Clasico finales in the rivalry's history. Plus, we've got some big news involving signings, and more importantly, big fightings amongst the Real Madrid squad, who've seemingly descended into madness. We start with the full recap of the week's dramas, before covering Barcelona's matchup at Osasuna (12:09) and Real Madrid's battle against Espanyol (22:33). Then, all eyes are fixed upon a potentially historic El Clasico, as Barcelona will host Real Madrid with the goal of winning La Liga against their most hated rivals in a series-first for El Clasico (42:33).
In what will probably amount to another meaningless game, Liverpool will host Chelsea in a match that Chelsea will desperately need to win in order to have even the most slender chances of finishing sixth and potentially finding a back door into the Champions League next season. Should Liverpool win, Chelsea will be doomed to hope for a Europa or Conference league birth for the next campaign. Manchester City have two vitally important home games in the span of five days in hopes of keeping pace with league leaders Arsenal. Arsenal can look to hold off the Citizens with a win a the London Stadium against relegation threatened West Ham United. The brains are working fine this week. Pete and Jacob take a moment to actually enjoy it — Champions League final, six points clear, West Ham on Sunday. Just two lads soaking in a remarkable week. Here's what's inside:
Arsenal beat Atletico Madrid to set up a Champions League Final clash with PSG. Mikel Arteta's side overcame Diego Simeone and his men to reach their first final in 20 years, and having gone unbeaten throughout their European campaign so far, can they stop the most in-form team in Europe to finally lift the trophy? PSG booked their place in Munich after seeing off Vincent Kompany's side in style. With so much firepower in their squad, do they go into the final as favourites against Arsenal , and can they become the first team since Real Madrid to retain the Champions League title? Producer's Note: This episode ends with the crew's reaction to Atlético Madrid confirming that Johnny Cardoso suffered a high-grade ankle sprain. The news broke during the show, which is why the opening discussion around Atlético's Champions League semifinal exit does not mention the injury or its potential World Cup implications. Jimmy Conrad, Tony Meola, and (eventually) Charlie Davies discuss Liga MX's dominance over MLS in the Concacaf Champions Cup following Nashville and LAFC's elimination from the competition. Staying in Mexico, the guys react to Javier Aguirre threatening to leave Liga MX players off his World Cup squad unless they report for a month-long national team camp. USMNT legend Clint Mathis joins to reflect on his 2002 World Cup heroics, almost joining Bayern Munich, and playing with a chip on his shoulder. And the crew reacts to breaking news out of Spain as Atletico Madrid confirm Johnny Cardoso has suffered a high-grade ankle sprain. In theory this looked like it could end up being an end of season decider for a Champions League place next season, but whilst Liverpool have crawled towards completing the job Chelsea have lost 6 in a row in the Premier League and have parted ways with a manager along the way. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Liverpool fan Dan Lord and Chelsea fan Gary Mantle to discuss an underwhelming period for both clubs. Should Arne Slot stay in the job at The Reds, despite several disappointing displays this campaign? There's soon to be a farewell to Andy Robertson and Mo Salah and concerns about Alexander Isak's continued injury problems. Chelsea are on a horrendous run, Liam Rosenior is gone and the fans are protesting against those running the operations. Could they salvage this season with European qualification and an FA Cup Final victory? Arsenal's title race took another dramatic turn after Everton F.C. stunned Manchester City F.C. in one of the biggest results of the Premier League season — and The NN Pod reacts to the chaos, the psychology, and what it means heading into the final stretch. The panel opens with a full Whip Around the Grounds from Matchweek 35, including defeats for Chelsea F.C., Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. and Liverpool F.C., the race for Europe, Spurs' win over Aston Villa F.C., and the growing tension at both ends of the table.VARse returns with a breakdown of the weekend's biggest officiating moments, including the Dean Henderson collision against A.F.C. Bournemouth, the delayed handball angle at Old Trafford, and the Michael Oliver controversy during Everton vs Manchester City. The panel debates “rules is rules”, forensic VAR analysis, and whether consistency in officiating is becoming impossible.Attention then turns to the title race after Everton's dramatic comeback against Manchester City. The hosts discuss the emotional swing of the evening, Rodri's absence, Manchester City's defensive vulnerability, Arsenal's mentality heading into the run-in, and why the Emirates atmosphere for the Champions League semi-final felt inevitable after the result at “Dick Hill”.The conversation then shifts to European football, with detailed reaction to Paris Saint-Germain F.C. vs FC Bayern Munich and what Arsenal could face in a potential Champions League final. There's discussion around Luis Enrique's tactical discipline, Ousmane Dembélé's threat, Manuel Neuer's decline, PSG's defensive structure, fixture congestion, and the growing gap between Premier League demands and the rest of Europe.Elsewhere, the pod reacts to Coventry City F.C. and Ipswich Town F.C. securing promotion to the Premier League, debates who should join them through the play-offs, reflects on Frank Lampard's managerial recovery, and discusses Jack Wilshere's season with Luton Town F.C..There's also discussion on Unai Emery's team selection decisions, the morality of weakened sides late in the season, and whether football's calendar is reaching breaking point.A huge week in football — and a huge week for Arsenal.
