Today’s Madness, is nothing bad. It’s like March Madness. It’s the dropout rate. Studies from the National Center for Education Statistics show that the dropout decreased from 2000-2016. Hispanics 27% to 8% African-American from 13% to 6% White 6% to 5% Great progress, but the issue remains. So, I called a family friend, Mia Thompson. She’s a teacher in Atlanta, GA and she discussed some of her methods for handling those most likely to dropout. They are underprivileged children.
