Culture shock is something that most people experience while being immersed long-term in a culture that's different than the one they call home. It is a disorienting type of stress that makes everyday tasks seem more difficult and exhausting. Today with the impact of COVID-19 across the globe, many people are experiencing this same type of shock without ever crossing an international border.
