Marie Schwartz caught up with MaryLeigh Bliss from Ypulse at NRF to talk Gen Z in 2026. The old marketing playbooks? They're history. The 20-year trend cycle is over. MaryLeigh explains how social media has created a "firehose" of fragmented trends where Gen Z is nostalgic for everything at once. Whether it's a 90s reboot or a meme from two weeks ago, the pace is moving faster than most retailers can keep up with. We're also seeing the rise of the "AI Detective." Gen Z is hunting for glitches and demanding that AI-generated content be clearly labeled. Transparency is now a requirement for trust, which is why brands like Aerie are winning by doubling down on human authenticity. Finally, the "post-social" era has arrived. Follower counts don't guarantee reach anymore, the algorithm is the new gatekeeper. From the "social closet" (dressing up for TikTok but living in sweatpants) to the surprising return of cinema-going, this episode covers exactly how to reach the next generation in 2026. Watch the full interview for the complete Gen Z playbook.

Hey Heal Squad! It's Throwback Thursday and we're bringing back a conversation with hormone expert Alisa Vitti that so many of you still ask about, especially when it comes to perimenopause, menopause, and feeling “off” in your body. Maria and Alisa get into what's really happening with your hormones during these phases (from energy dips and mood swings to brain fog, weight changes, and sleep issues) and why so many women are told it's “just part of aging” when it doesn't have to be. Alisa also breaks down how your cycle (and the loss of it) impacts how you should be eating, working out, and structuring your day, and why doing the same routine every day can actually work against you. Plus, simple shifts to start supporting your body in a way that actually makes you feel better. It's a really eye-opening conversation that will help you understand your body on a much deeper level! What if the very beliefs driving your success are also the ones quietly burning you out? In this episode of The Greatness Machine, host Darius Mirshahzadeh sits down with neuroscientist and founder of Dr. Rewire, Dr. Alok Trivedi, for a powerful conversation on how the brain, beliefs, and nervous system truly shape success and fulfillment. Dr. Alok shares his origin story, the breakdown that sparked his breakthrough, and how decoding the “anatomy of belief” allowed him to rewire his life and business. Together, they explore why traditional mindset work often falls short, why the brain is wired for protection rather than happiness, and why integration, not hustle, is the real path to sustainable performance. The conversation dives into Dr. Alok's Four Brains framework, the dopamine-driven highs and lows of achievement, and how entrepreneurs can align with their true design to reduce burnout, anxiety, and self-sabotage. When an IVF cycle fails, the focus usually shifts to the next protocol. Different medications. Higher doses. Another retrieval. But an IVF cycle produces a huge amount of biological data that is rarely fully analyzed before repeating treatment. Ovarian response, egg maturity, embryo development, and the internal environment around transfer all provide important signals about what may be influencing the outcome. Yet many couples are encouraged to move forward with another cycle before those patterns are carefully reviewed. In this episode, we step back and walk through how to interpret a failed IVF cycle from a systems perspective so the next decision is based on biology, not momentum. In this episode, you'll learn: • Why a failed IVF cycle contains important biological clues that often go unexamined • What a true IVF cycle audit should include before repeating a protocol • The patterns in ovarian response, egg maturity, and embryo development that may reveal underlying imbalances • Why embryo development reflects whole body physiology, not just the laboratory environment • How to decide whether repeating a cycle makes sense or whether a different approach should be considered I'm Sarah Clark, founder of Fab Fertile and host of Get Pregnant Naturally. For over a decade, my team and I have reviewed hundreds of low AMH and failed IVF cases using functional testing alongside conventional fertility care. We specialize in helping couples identify the physiological patterns driving poor outcomes so decisions are grounded in interpretation, not guesswork. If you've been moving from cycle to cycle without a clear way to evaluate what's actually been addressed, I created a free resource called the Embryo Audit Checklist. It helps you organize past cycles and labs so you can see what's been looked at and what may not have been considered yet. Access it here.

We unpack the quiet pattern that shows up month after month: comparison spikes, confidence drops, and the urge to burn everything down, only to realize a few days later it was hormonal, not catastrophic. We explore the practical awareness that changes everything. Tracking your cycle. Recognizing the mental signals your body sends before your period arrives. And learning how to adjust your expectations for a few days instead of spiraling into self-doubt.You'll hear why physical factors like iron deficiency can quietly affect confidence and mental clarity, how slowing down communication during these days can prevent unnecessary conflict, and why building the habit of repairing quickly instead of mentally spiraling is a confidence skill every leader needs. 234-PreDSWe also talk about modeling body awareness for the next generation. The importance of being open about cycles with our families. You may not know what polypropylene (PP) plastic is, but you use it every day, and it mostly goes unrecycled, often ending up in our oceans and environment. Just look for the No. 5 recycling symbol. At PureCycle, we transform that plastic into a versatile, replenishable resource through our unprecedented purification process. We want to change how you view and use plastic. It can be a renewable resource that can be used multiple times.Plastic recycling has been around for decades, but traditional mechanical recycling methods have resulted in limited use applications and tend to have unpleasant odors, unreliable performance, and limited colors. PureCycle offers the only ground-breaking, patented process for recycling polypropylene that separates color, odor, and other contaminants from plastic waste to transform it into ultra-pure recycled resin. This process helps close the loop on plastic waste while making recycled plastics more accessible at scale.

How Financial Success Can Lead to Spiritual Failure with John Rinehart

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” — Matthew 16:26 Those words from Jesus confront one of the deepest questions we can ask about money and success. Jesus spoke them to His disciples as He taught about the cost of following Him. In that moment, He contrasted two pursuits: gaining the world and preserving the soul. The question still echoes today: Is there a spiritual cost to financial success? On today's episode of Faith & Finance, John Rinehart, founder and CEO of Gospel Patrons, joined the show to explore that very question and what Scripture teaches about wealth, work, and spiritual health. The Bible's Honest Warnings About Wealth Financial success itself is not condemned in Scripture. In fact, the Bible includes many faithful believers who possessed great wealth—Abraham, Job, and Lydia among them. Yet Scripture also carries repeated warnings about the spiritual dangers that prosperity can create. As John explained on the show, wealth can be both a blessing and a temptation. The danger arises when our hearts begin to trust money instead of God. Jesus addressed this tension directly in Matthew 6:24: “No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve God and money.” The issue is not the possession of wealth but the mastery of wealth over the human heart. And in a culture that celebrates success, possessions, and financial independence, those warnings are easy to overlook. The Cycle of Success That Can Lead to Spiritual Failure John describes a pattern many people fall into—a cycle of success that can quietly lead to spiritual drift. It often begins with a view of work that centers on earning money so we can eventually rest. We work hard, pursue success, and over time, our effort produces prosperity. Hard work and prosperity themselves are not wrong. In fact, Scripture often affirms diligence. But prosperity introduces a new danger. As John noted during the conversation, success can gradually lead us to forget the God who provided it in the first place. When we begin to see wealth as the product of our own ability rather than God's provision, our dependence on Him begins to fade. Before long, success that once felt like a blessing can become a spiritual trap. The Warning of the Rich Fool Jesus illustrates this danger in the Parable of the Rich Fool in Luke 12:16–21. In the story, a farmer experiences an abundant harvest. Faced with overflowing crops, he decides to tear down his barns and build bigger ones to store them all. From a purely financial perspective, his plan sounds wise. But Jesus reveals the deeper problem. The man begins speaking to himself as though his wealth guarantees security and ease: “Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.” — Luke 12:19 Then comes the shocking turn. “But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you.'” — Luke 12:20 The problem wasn't the harvest—it was forgetting God. This story hits close to home in a culture that often equates success with building bigger barns. The Danger of Forgetting the Source This warning appears long before Jesus told that parable. As Israel prepared to enter the Promised Land, Moses cautioned them about the spiritual risks that accompany prosperity. In Deuteronomy 8:17–18, he warned: “Beware lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.' You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth.” John highlighted this verse as a key reminder: even the ability to create wealth is a gift from God. When we forget that truth, wealth easily shifts from blessing to idol. When Wealth Chokes Out Spiritual Fruit Jesus also warned that wealth can quietly interfere with spiritual growth. In the Parable of the Sower, He describes seeds that begin growing but are eventually overwhelmed by thorns. He explains the meaning in Mark 4:19: “The cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.” John also noted how startling that statement is. The Word of God is powerful, yet Jesus says the deceitfulness of riches can still choke its fruitfulness in a person's life. Wealth promises security and satisfaction—but it often delivers anxiety and distraction instead. God's Better Rhythm for Life Thankfully, Scripture offers a healthier path. John explained that instead of structuring life around work and wealth, God invites us into a different rhythm—one that begins with rest. The Sabbath command in Exodus 20:8–10 reminds us that our lives are not sustained by constant productivity. Rest re-centers our hearts. It draws our attention back to God through worship, Scripture, and time with the community of faith. From that place of rest, work becomes something different. Instead of merely trading time for money, work becomes an act of service and worship—an opportunity to use the gifts God has given us to bless others. When prosperity comes from that posture, it is received differently. Instead of assuming ownership, we begin to recognize stewardship. As Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, God is the one who provides the power to create wealth. That truth reshapes how we think about money. Our resources are no longer simply tools for personal comfort—they become opportunities to participate in God's work. And that leads naturally to generosity. The Role of “Gospel Patrons” John's ministry, Gospel Patrons, highlights a powerful biblical pattern. Throughout Scripture and church history, movements of God have often been supported by generous believers whose financial resources helped fuel gospel work. Even during Jesus' ministry, Luke 8:3 tells us that several women helped support Him and His disciples “out of their means.” These supporters—often business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals—play a vital role in advancing the mission of God. They may not always preach sermons or travel as missionaries, but their faithful stewardship enables those ministries to flourish. Your Work Can Matter for Eternity One of the most encouraging points Reinhardt shared on the program is that believers working in business or professional careers are not second-class participants in God's Kingdom. Your daily work matters. When your work is offered to God, your resources stewarded faithfully, and your generosity directed toward His mission, your life becomes part of something eternal. Financial success does not have to lead to spiritual failure. When we remember the source of our wealth and steward it with humility and generosity, our work can become a powerful instrument in advancing God's Kingdom. On Today's Program, Rob Answers Listener Questions: I'm 68 and recently retired. With a home for sale and significant cash on hand, I'm trying to determine the best way to begin withdrawing from my 401(k) without pushing myself into a higher tax bracket before RMDs begin. We break down executive moves, economic forces, and the technology reshaping how pilots are trained, assessed, and employed. No corporate spin. Just the career intelligence pilots actually need. Three weeks ago, aviation had never looked more optimistic. Then the bombs fell on Iran, the Straits of Hormuz choked, and 46,000 flights vanished from the board. Gulf hubs shut down, jet fuel surged past $3.40 a gallon, and pilots who were flying a hundred hours a month are now sitting at home waiting for a phone call that might not come. We have seen this pattern before — 9/11, 2008, COVID — and every time the industry promises it will be different. Bryan also unveils a brand new AI-powered Risk Management and Decision-Making Simulator built on live FlightRadar24 data, walking through a full demo of the tool designed to fix one of aviation training's biggest blind spots. In this episode of The Bryan Air Podcast, Bryan Roseveare and Ryan Parrock analyse the aviation impact of the Iran conflict, Middle East airspace closures, fuel price surges, pilot job insecurity, the aviation crisis cycle, and a live demo of a new AI-enhanced decision-making training tool for pilots.

We talk about how to create psychological safety during hard conversations, how to interrupt unhealthy patterns, and why curiosity is far more powerful than defensiveness.   Uncle Joe also shares a powerful perspective about what he calls the "rucksack principle"—taking an honest inventory of what you're carrying and being willing to sacrifice things that may be important to you but aren't serving the health of your marriage or family. If you're feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in recurring conflict, this episode offers practical tools and a new perspective on leadership at home.     Timeline Summary: [1:01] Wednesday Q&A kickoff with Uncle Joe and the Dad Edge community  [2:00] Listener question about impulsive reactions, yelling, and shutting down in marriage  [4:45] The powerful truth that two things can be true at the same time  [5:56] The "100-pound rucksack" analogy for overwhelm in marriage  [7:50] How to interrupt the conflict cycle with a new conversation approach  [10:00] Creating psychological safety by changing physical positioning in conversations  [13:20] Uncle Joe's perspective on inspecting your own "rucksack" first  [16:00] What real love looks like: patience, sacrifice, and humility  [21:30] The power of daily journaling and reflection to improve emotional awareness  [24:00] Why most men struggle with relationships because of a skill gap—not bad intentions      Five Key Takeaways Two things can be true at the same time—both partners can feel overwhelmed and still need support. Competing over who has it harder only deepens conflict in marriage. Psychological safety is created through curiosity, listening, and calm tone—not defensiveness. Great leadership in marriage starts by examining your own "rucksack" first. Most relationship struggles come from a skill gap—not a lack of love or commitment.   Links & Resources Roommates to Soulmates Cohort & Preview Call: https://thedadedge.com/soulmates Episode Shownotes: http://thedadedge.com/1450   Closing If you've been feeling reactive, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same conflict patterns at home, remember this: leadership in marriage starts with self-awareness.   Start by checking your own rucksack. Get curious instead of defensive. Create space for real conversations instead of competition.   If this episode resonated with you, make sure you rate, review, follow, and share it with another dad who needs to hear it.   Go out and live legendary.

Ethereum underperformed this cycle, and investors are asking the big question: did ETH just skip a cycle, or is something deeper going on? Michael Nadeau joins Ryan to break down where Ethereum sits in the market cycle today, why several of his key indicators suggest ETH is entering a fair value zone, and whether the true macro bottom could still lie ahead. They also unpack why ETH struggled despite improving fundamentals. Mike explains how Ethereum's L2 roadmap may have improved the network while weakening short-term value capture for the asset itself, and what signals he's watching (MVRV, supply in profit, the 200-week moving average) as he looks for the next expansion phase. Enterprise data estates often optimize for platform expansion over decision velocity, producing reporting layers that signal activity but fail to accelerate strategic outcomes. In this episode, Barry McCardel, CEO at Hex, examines how leading organizations can compress the gap between executive questions and decision-grade insight to materially increase the enterprise value of data. The discussion focuses on tightening feedback loops, operationalizing collaborative and AI-augmented analysis, and redefining data ROI around adoption, trust, and measurable business impact rather than production metrics.      Fertility Docs Uncensored is hosted by Dr. Carrie Bedient from the Fertility Center of Las Vegas, Dr. Susan Hudson from Texas Fertility Center, and Dr. Abby Eblen from Nashville Fertility Center. Today, the Docs answer a wide range of general IVF questions that commonly come up during treatment. The discussion includes scenarios where fertilization rates are good but embryo development is poor, resulting in few or no usable embryos. The doctors explore possible contributing factors in both the egg and the sperm, test options that may provide more insight, and consider treatment strategies for future cycles. They also address procedural challenges during egg retrievals, medication considerations, and lifestyle factors that may impact outcomes. Other topics include treatment your doctor may consider if embryos do not develop well after fertilization. The hosts explain when DNA fragmentation testing for the male partner may be helpful and how advanced genetic testing, such as PGT-A+, can help determine whether the issue is related to egg or sperm quality. They discuss when growth hormone may be considered during stimulation and what evidence supports its use. The episode also covers what happens if an ovary cannot be safely accessed during an egg retrieval, why safety always comes first, and whether bowel prep or weight loss may improve access in future cycles. Additional questions addressed include whether this problem can recur, how GLP-1 medications should be managed around retrievals, whether breastfeeding impacts frozen embryo transfer success, and why sedation practices during egg retrieval vary between clinics and countries.

I didn't learn until I was 40 years old that my body moves through four distinct phases every single month — and that each one of those phases affects my mood, my energy, my patience, and my ability to connect with the people I love. Which means that the version of me who felt so present and empathetic last Tuesday wasn't just "having a good day." And the version of me who snapped at everyone before dinner on Friday wasn't failing. Both of those women were showing up exactly on schedule — I just didn't have the language for it yet. This episode is about what becomes possible when we finally have that language, and how empowering it is to understand our bodies well enough to show up the way we actually want to — and to have real grace for ourselves when that's harder. This week's guest is Shara Jackson Harper, a licensed mental health therapist, hormone and cycle guide, and mother of five who helps women understand how their internal rhythms shape the way they show up for the people they love most. In this episode, you'll learn: ✨ The golden conversation Shara had with her 15-year-old son — and the specific reason she believes the timing made all the difference ✨ Why most women are often carrying a "basket of shame" about their hard days, and what Shara says we can do with it instead ✨ The simple three-part formula Shara uses to talk to her own family about where she is in her cycle — and why her kids actually know what "lower bandwidth week" means So here's to understanding ourselves a little better, giving ourselves a little more grace, and showing up for our people in the ways we actually want to.   For full show notes, including takeaways, click here. *** Announcements: Hormone Cycle Guide: Shara has created a free handout with an overview of all four phases of the menstrual cycle plus a printable tracker to help you start noticing your own patterns.
