As our hormones and female physiology change, running a bit less and more strategic is essential to feel stronger, healthier, and even faster.Louise Valentine, a leading expert for perimenopausal active women and runners, sits down with Jen to look back on their four-month training cycle and share what happened when they reduced running mileage, focused more on the Breaking Through Wellness female-specific strength training and fitness methods, and stopped forcing their bodies to keep up with demanding race goals. One of their biggest lessons was once again learning to recognize a bioindividual “stress tipping point”, a science-backed theory that Louise teaches us to thrive through perimenopause. For example, more training is not always better, especially when sleep, recovery, hormones, hunger, mood, and body composition start to suffer. Louise shares how stepping away from half-marathon training helped improve her sleep, libido, strength, physique, recovery, and hormone markers while still allowing her to run faster. Jen also discovered that shorter runs brought her faster physique changes, more joy, improved energy, and made training easier to fit into her busy family life. They also discuss excessive cardio, hunger hormones, female-specific strength training, ditching social media pressure, and the empowering freedom that comes from changing goals without feeling like you failed. The takeaway is simple: your healthiest and most effective training plan looks a lot different in midlife as your hormones and female physiology change.RESOURCES + LINKSLearn & level up with my free nutrition guide & award-winning 1:1 Academy to thrive through perimenopause with less stress: https://www.breakingthroughwellness.comBlog post mentioned in this episode, “Trying to find your sweet spot with running & fitness in perimenopause? [episode cut] CYCLE Documentary Sheds Light on Forgotten Victims of Police Violence

    The Laura Flanders Show

This month, on Laura Flanders & Friends, we're taking a closer look at criminal justice—through the lens of abolition, accountability, and the power of the creative arts to tell fuller, truer stories.  This week we'll explore a new documentary, CYCLE, that's breaking the silence around police killings. Subscribe to Laura on Substack:  https://lauraflanders.substack.com/ Description: Would we know from our media that over 1,000 people are killed by police every year in the U.S.? The stories of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor are exceptions, but for the victims we don't hear about, there's CYCLE. The newly-released investigative feature documentary from LionArt Media focuses on the 2019 killing of Ty'rese West, an 18-year-old Black teenager from Racine, Wisconsin who was shot to death after being pulled over by a Mount Pleasant police officer for riding a bicycle with no headlights. No videos were taken, the details of West's death were withheld from the community and the subsequent police report. Made in close collaboration with West's mother, Monique West, the film follows the story of Ty'rese's death and the lawsuit that ensued. CYCLE is an invitation, “. . . to interrupt the silence that follows so many cases that never go viral — cases where there's no footage, no public pressure, and no accountability,” say director Laura Dyan Kezman and co-director William Howell, both Racine natives. Kezman is an award-winning director, DP, and editor, and the founder of LionArt Media committed to telling bold, socially driven stories that examine justice, culture, and civic engagement. Howell is a cinematographer, editor, and director based in Milwaukee. He was the cinematographer of ‘The Rise and Fall of Coo Coo Cal' and the director of the 2020 film ‘You Don't Know Me'. Join the CYCLE directors and Laura Flanders for this powerful conversation on police accountability and community action, plus a commentary on the media quiet about Trump's massive military build-up in the Caribbean. “. . . We started this film in 2019 with the intention of not making an angry film, but we didn't quite know what the film needed to be yet. Then COVID hit, Ahmaud Arbery was killed, and then Breonna Taylor was killed, and then George Floyd was killed . . . We felt it then, that this was something so much bigger than us in terms of us telling Tyrese's story in that moment.” - Laura Dyan Kezman “The call to action, that's when I see, more than anything, that we achieved our goal. People are not leaving these theaters angry . . . They're leaving and saying, what can we do? What can I do? What can we do together as people to help create this change?” - William Howell Guests: • William Howell: Co-Director, CYCLE • Laura Dyan Kezman: Director, Editor & Producer, CYCLE   Watch the special report on YouTube; PBS World Channel Sundays 11:30am ET, and on over 300 public stations across the country (check your listings, or search here via zipcode). In this eye-opening episode, Dr. Scott Watier unpacks the difference between true physical hunger and habit-driven cravings, drawing on neuroscience research into how the gut actually teaches the brain what to want. He explains why cravings can feel so urgent even when the body has plenty of stored energy, and how modern food environments hijack a survival system that was never designed for constant convenience and reward. Scott breaks down the difference between hunger that builds gradually and flexibly versus cravings that are specific, urgent, and tied to a time, place, or emotion, giving listeners a simple way to tell the two apart in the moment. He connects this directly to the fasting lifestyle, showing how consistent fasting creates space between an urge and a reaction, helping the body relearn to access stored fuel instead of chasing the next quick hit of energy. Listeners walk away with a practical, repeatable framework for handling cravings without white-knuckling or feeling guilty about hunger. The episode closes with a reminder that fasting isn't about suffering through hunger, but about becoming a better interpreter of your body's real signals. As a next step, listeners are encouraged to try the pause-and-assess method the next time a craving hits, before automatically reaching for food. Take the NEW FASTING PERSONA QUIZ! - The Key to Unlocking Sustainable Weight Loss With Fasting! Resources and Downloads: ***NEW RESOURCE!*** GRAB THE INSULIN RESISTANCE BUCKETS SUMMARY GUIDE SIGN UP FOR THE DROP OF THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO BLOOD SUGAR CONTROL GRAB THE OPTIMAL RANGES FOR LAB WORK HERE! - NEW RESOURCE! FREE RESOURCE - DOWNLOAD THE NEW BLUEPRINT TO FASTING FOR FAT LOSS! SLEEP GUIDE DIRECT DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD THE FASTING TRANSFORMATION JOURNAL HERE! Partner Links: Get your FREE BOX OF LMNT hydration support for the perfect electrolyte balance for your fasting lifestyle with your first purchase here! Get 25% off a Keto-Mojo blood glucose and ketone monitor (discount shown at checkout)! Click here! Our Community: Let's continue the conversation. What does a realistic IVF journey actually look like—and how do you know when to keep going, pause, or consider a different path? In this episode, Dr. Susan Hudson and Dr. Carrie Bedient take a candid look at the realities of fertility treatment, from understanding IVF success rates to interpreting what happens during an individual cycle. They explore why statistics don't tell the whole story, what factors can shape a patient's prognosis, and the moments when it may be worth stepping back and reassessing the plan. But fertility treatment isn't just about numbers and test results. The conversation also addresses the emotional toll of IVF, the importance of having the right support system, and how asking better questions—or getting a second opinion—can help patients feel more informed and confident in their decisions. Whether you're considering IVF, in the middle of treatment, or trying to understand what comes next, this episode offers an honest and reassuring conversation about navigating the medical, emotional, and deeply personal decisions that come with a fertility journey.

Why do you keep avoiding things you know you need to do?You know what I mean. The unopened post sitting on the side. The form that would probably take five minutes. The donation bag you keep walking past. The email you still haven't sent.Task avoidance can be so frustrating, especially when you know the job itself is small. But avoidance is not always about how long something will take. Often, it is about the emotional weight attached to the task, the uncertainty around it, or simply not knowing how to begin. In this episode, I'm talking about ADHD avoidance and why small tasks can start taking up so much mental space when we keep putting them off. If you have ADHD, avoiding tasks can also be connected to executive function and task initiation, which can make getting started feel much harder than it looks from the outside. We'll look at what is really happening when you keep putting something off, including the avoidance cycle that so many of us get stuck in, why telling yourself to “just do it” usually doesn't help, and how to make taking action easier. You'll learn:Why a five-minute task can feel much harder than it actually isWhat can be happening underneath avoidanceHow uncertainty and hidden steps can make small tasks feel overwhelmingWhy avoidance gives you temporary relief but can create more stress laterHow ADHD can affect task initiation and getting startedWhy the emotional weight of a task can grow the longer you leave itHow guilt and self-criticism can make task avoidance even harderSimple ways to make the first step feel smaller and more manageableHow to identify the next physical action instead of thinking about the whole taskWhy you do not need to finish everything for your progress to countIf you're looking for help to take action the things you've been avoiding, this episode is for you. Here's to fewer things competing for your attention,CarolineIf this is something you struggle with, you may also want to listen to Episode 203, 3 Shifts to Finally Start the Tasks You Keep Putting Off, and Episode 211, Why Tiny Tasks Start Feeling Huge When You're Overwhelmed. Thanks for listening! One of the most fascinating things I've learned about in conducting interviews are how top awards can end up meaning -- nothing.Think back -- can you name who won the Oscar for best documentary short five years ago? Two years ago?So often, it doesn't show a noticeable trajectory change in the filmmakers' careers. That's not true of my guest today, Orlando von Einsiedel, whose film, THE CYCLE OF LOVE (2025) opened in New York on August 28th and later in September for the rest of the country, has continually built on his success through taking on larger projects. In the last 16 years, he's directed or produced at least 31 shows and series, an incredible workflow that speaks both to his work ethic and the value of awards (maybe?).It's hard to tell whether the latter part mattered. What we can say is his filmmaking is sincerely moving, and I'm so glad to see him tackle evermore ambitious topics like THE CYCLE OF LOVE.In this episode, Orlando and I talk about:he's won Oscars and opened at top festivals; is there's an achievement out there that he's aiming for in filmmaking?;his description of THE CYCLE OF LOVE;the decision to incorporate mostly reenactments into the film and where he drew the line between "how it feels" and what actually happened;how EVELYN (2018) helped make THE CYCLE OF LOVE happen the way it did;how he went from snowboarding into filmmakingthe ways in which awards enabled his climb and how documentary filmmakers should view them;the role of EPs for documentary filmmakers;the value proposition of his production company, Grain Media, and how he'll use crowdfunding if it's the path for a particular film;the theatrical prospects for this film and the landscape for documentary filmmakers;what's next for him.Memorable Quotes:" Every story, every film we make, I just want people, audiences to connect with it."" The challenge was there was very little archive footage from PK's journey, and and normally that is what kills a documentary in its tracks."" I don't think anyone should start a film project thinking about awards."" It doesn't matter how experienced you are, it doesn't matter how many awards you've won, every project needs a different path."Links:Follow Orlando On InstagramGrain Media's Website

What can we do together as people to help create this change?” - William Howell Guests: • William Howell: Co-Director, CYCLE • Laura Dyan Kezman: Director, Editor & Producer, CYCLE Full Conversation Release: While our weekly shows are edited to time for broadcast on Public TV and community radio, we offer to our members and podcast subscribers the full uncut conversation. Send us Fan MailWhat if the person who betrayed you was not the beginning of the pattern, but the person who finally made it impossible for you to ignore? What if, long before someone lied or cheated, you had already learned to silence your intuition, sacrifice your needs, and stay loyal to people who were not loyal to you?In this episode of The Dimple Bindra Show, I sit down with award-winning spiritual psychology coach, bestselling author, and lineage healer Lainne Love for an honest conversation about betrayal trauma, self-betrayal, inherited relationship patterns, and breaking generational cycles.Lainne shares how her experiences with abuse, trauma, and a violent mugging forced her to examine the subconscious patterns she had carried for years. She explains why healing rarely happens through one dramatic breakthrough. More often, it develops through small, intentional choices that slowly rebuild safety, confidence, and self-trust.Together, we talk about:• Why betrayal can expose patterns that began much earlier• How ignoring your intuition can weaken your self-trust• The inherited belief that a good woman must stay, forgive, and hold everyone together• How childhood conditioning shapes what you tolerate in adult relationships• Why recognizing a pattern is different from changing it• How betrayal affects your sense of safety and nervous system• Why leaving can feel impossible when you are emotionally depleted• The importance of asking for practical, tangible support• How to break painful cycles and create a healthier legacyThis episode is for any woman who has ever asked herself:“Why do I keep repeating the same painful relationship patterns?”Or:“How can I trust myself again after betrayal?”If you are healing after infidelity, struggling with self-abandonment, or afraid of repeating the relationship patterns you witnessed growing up, this conversation will help you understand what may be keeping the cycle alive.Taking responsibility for your healing does not mean taking responsibility for another person's harmful choices. It means learning to hear your own voice again, honor what you know, and choose differently one step at a time.If you have recently been cheated on or are struggling after betrayal, you do not have to face it alone. Have you ever stepped on the scale, seen a number you didn't like, and suddenly felt like your entire day was ruined? Maybe you immediately started replaying everything you ate the day before. You felt disappointed. You told yourself you need to work harder, eat less, or exercise more. Or maybe that one number made you feel like you'd completely blown it. But here's the question I want you to think about: Why does a number on a scale have so much power over how you feel about yourself? The problem may not actually be the scale. It may be the meaning we've learned to attach to the number. A number is simply information. It doesn't tell you whether you're disciplined. It doesn't determine your worth. And it certainly doesn't tell you whether you're succeeding or failing. Today, I want to help you start separating your worth from your weight so you can stop letting the scale dictate your mood, your choices, or your confidence. And if you're tired of feeling like you're constantly starting over with your weight, food, and fitness, I want to invite you to my FREE workshop, “Why I Keep Starting Over and How to Break the Cycle.” We're meeting Wednesday, September 2nd at 8 PM Eastern on Zoom, and we're going to talk about why this cycle keeps happening—and, more importantly, how you can finally break free from it. So if you've ever let the number on the scale determine how you feel about yourself, this workshop is for you. Head over to DietDitching.com, click on Free Workshop, and put your name and email on the list. I would absolutely love to have you there. Let's stop starting over and start walking in freedom instead!

You have gone in for monitoring. They may have increased the medication already. And then you hear it again. The follicles are not responding. There are one or two growing. Maybe the cycle gets cancelled. Maybe you make it all the way to retrieval and get one egg. When you ask why, the answer comes back the same way every time. It is your low AMH. It is your age. You are a poor responder. Those are real factors, and I am not going to tell you the AMH does not matter. But if you are about to put your body, your finances, and yourself through another cycle, there is a bigger question worth asking. Is low AMH the whole explanation? Because these are two separate statements: I have diminished ovarian reserve, and low AMH explains everything that happened during that cycle. They are not the same statement. What if some of the details in the Gospel of John were designed to remind its original audience of the Scriptures they had recently heard read in the synagogue? Today, Jewish communities read through the Torah on an annual cycle, beginning each year again in the seventh month of Tishri. But during the first century, Jewish communities in the land of Israel followed a Triennial Torah Reading Cycle, reading through the Torah over three years. Evidence suggests that some communities began the cycle in the month of Nisan. This ancient reading cycle opens a fascinating window into the Gospel of John. In this introductory lesson, we explore the work of Aileen Guilding and her book The Fourth Gospel and Jewish Worship. Guilding proposed that many of the themes, images, and even the timing of events in John's Gospel may be connected with the Torah and Haftarah readings being heard in the synagogue. The story of the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4 provides a remarkable example. When we place the story within the proposed synagogue readings for the month of Shevat (Jan/Feb), an extraordinary collection of connections begins to emerge. The readings include Exodus 2, where Moses meets his future wife at a well, and Hosea 2, with its powerful promise of Israel's restoration: "In that day...you will call me 'my husband.'" Suddenly, John's presentation of Jesus as the Bridegroom coming to reclaim his bride becomes even richer. Another reading takes us directly into the ancient dispute between Jews and Samaritans. Deuteronomy 27:4 instructs Israel in the Masoretic Hebrew tradition to erect an altar on Mount Ebal, while the Samaritan Pentateuch preserves Mount Gerizim—the very mountain at the center of the Samaritan woman's conversation with Jesus: "Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem." — John 4:20 Coincidence? Or is John deliberately weaving the synagogue readings familiar to his audience into the story he is telling? Join us as we introduce the Triennial Torah Reading Cycle, examine Aileen Guilding's influential theory, and begin exploring how the Torah, the Prophets, Jewish worship, and the Gospel of John may fit together in ways that modern readers often miss. -------------------------------- www.figtreeministries.org Lesson Handout: https://www.figtreeteaching.com/blog/the-triennial-torah-cycle-the-hidden-key-to-the-gospel-of-john Article: https://www.figtreeteaching.com/uploads/1/1/9/7/119763168/fig_tree_ministries_gospel_of_john_and_triennial_synagogue_reading_v2.pdf Aileen Guilding Life and Work: https://www.academia.edu/2640173/Aileen_Guilding_her_Life_and_her_Work Book "The Fourth Gospel and Jewish Worship" - https://www.amazon.com/Fourth-Gospel-Jewish-Worship/dp/B0014ZYUPQ/ref=sr_1_1_so_ABIS_BOOK?crid=3MA82I0OEKJ7O&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.91goByv-PHqn0mD5iyA-ffIUPjIJAa4lpB_X8RBpm_Nmv-6l37ocJcPdF8jRtLX385NXjImzokdeV0-_y54_9gDpHZJfw-3RNNXwWs8IdebfpZ30Xd3Ml1IjnkOkz3t16IeQGiLqB9Hoz5D7Gu9ZutwwnH4zR-4Fsip0LKuGofA7148Grl7s1NxG2BTiHNL-MYOGigjjOLwC3iQSSwSu1lSCmS90uIyMQxqr_AgSLQ0.8mqys_ON7zUWnJTxfrvpJs2oqAE-0Jknc2wRLG5caJE&dib_tag=se&keywords=the+fourth+gospel+and+jewish+worship&qid=1787344134&sprefix=the+fourth+gospel+and+jewish+worship%2Caps%2C213&sr=8-1

Have you ever wondered if your workout routine needs to change now that you're over 30? Maybe you've started thinking, “My metabolism is slowing down, so I probably need to exercise more.” So you add more cardio, more workouts, more time at the gym—and somehow, you're still not getting the results you want. Or maybe you're on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Your life is already packed with work, family, responsibilities, and everything else on your plate, and the thought of adding another hour at the gym feels completely overwhelming. But what if neither of those approaches is actually what you need? Today on this Fit Tip Friday episode, we're talking about what really matters when it comes to exercise after 30—and why more exercise isn't necessarily the answer. So many women fall into one of two camps: they either believe they have to work harder and longer to lose weight, or they become so overwhelmed by what they think they should be doing that they struggle to exercise consistently at all. And friend, I want you to know there's another way. Today, I'm going to walk you through what your body actually needs from exercise after 30 so you can support your goals, build strength, feel energized, and create a routine that actually fits into your real life. And if consistency is something you struggle with—not just with exercise, but with healthy habits in general—I want to invite you to my free workshop, “Why I Keep Starting Over and How to Break the Cycle,” on Wednesday, September 2nd at 8 p.m. Eastern on Zoom. If you're tired of constantly starting over and wondering why you can't seem to stick with anything, this workshop is for you. We're going to dive deeper into why you keep getting stuck and, more importantly, what you can do to finally move forward. Just head over to DietDitching.com, click on Free Workshop, and enter your name and email to get registered. But first, let's talk about exercise after 30—and what you really need to reach your goals without spending your life working out. Let's get started!

Jeremy Zakis reports on the unprecedented rainfall sweeping across Australia, driven by a super El Niño cycle interacting with the Indian Ocean Dipole. South Australia and Adelaide experienced the heaviest downpours, breaking monthly rainfall records in a single day, while Sydney's infrastructure coped with several inches of rain. Victoria and Melbourne were largely spared due to the Great Dividing Range acting as a barrier. Zakis warns that weekly spring rains are highly unusual and threaten to fuel rapid forest undergrowth, which could dry out and create a dangerous bushfire hazard during future droughts. (10)

In this solo episode, Josh Hadley explores how the CEO's role evolves as an ecommerce business scales. He traces the journey from hands-on operator managing every detail to strategic leader focused on high-level priorities. Drawing from his own experience, including a four-week time study, Josh outlines where CEOs should invest their time at each growth stage. Key focus areas include attracting top talent, defining brand vision, building strategic partnerships, and optimizing financial models. His core message: delegation and strategic focus, not micromanagement, are what drive businesses toward eight and nine figures.Bullet Points:The evolving role of a CEO in an ecommerce business as it grows.Transition from hands-on management to strategic leadership.Importance of delegation and hiring specialized talent.Conducting time studies to identify CEO-level tasks versus delegable tasks.Challenges of micromanagement and the need to trust team members.Strategies for investing regained time effectively.Attracting and retaining top talent within the organization.Defining and communicating a clear brand vision.Developing strategic partnerships to enhance business opportunities.Financial stewardship and optimizing revenue models for growth.Timestamps:00:00:00 Introduction to the Evolving CEO RoleThe host introduces himself and the topic: how a CEO's responsibilities must change as an e-commerce business grows.00:02:00 The CEO's Time StudyThe host shares his personal experience conducting a four-week time study to identify and delegate non-CEO level work.00:03:04 The "Subject Matter Expert" PhaseIn the beginning, the CEO is the hands-on expert, handling everything from product research to PPC campaigns.00:04:03 The First Million-Dollar MilestoneAfter hitting $1 million, the CEO's role shifts to reinvesting for growth, often by expanding product offerings.00:05:07 The Cycle of Growth and DelegationThe CEO identifies bottlenecks, hires specialists to solve them, and then doubles down on other sales-generating activities.00:06:57 Leading Through PeopleCrossing the $20 million mark requires a transition from hands-on execution to leading managers and department heads.00:08:00 Common Pitfalls for CEOs with Free TimeCEOs who delegate successfully must avoid wasting their newfound time or, most damagingly, starting another distracting business venture.00:09:53 Investing in Your TeamThe first priority for a CEO should be retaining talent by improving team experience, building culture, and supporting people.00:11:21 Focusing on Brand VisionThe CEO must clarify and communicate the brand's long-term vision to guide the company and retain key employees.00:13:13 Developing Strategic PartnershipsCEOs should spend time building relationships with key industry players, potential hires, and co-branding partners for future growth.00:14:11 Overseeing Financial HealthA key CEO role is allocating resources effectively, managing cash flow, and ensuring the business can support its growth.00:15:11 Architecting the "Money Model"CEOs must focus on engineering the business model to maximize customer lifetime value, not just front-end acquisition profits.00:17:21 The CEO's High-Level FocusThe CEO should work on the big picture—people, vision, brand, and money model—not tactical day-to-day tasks.00:19:19 The Most Important CEO Skill: SellingA CEO's number one skill is selling the vision to recruit and retain top talent, which provides the most leverage.00:20:20 Helping Others Become MillionairesThe ultimate mindset shift: a CEO's goal should be to build a business that helps their key leaders succeed financially.Links and Mentions:Tools and Concepts"AI": "00:02:00""Time Study": "00:02:00""PPC (Pay-Per-Click)": "00:05:07"Books"$100 Million Money Models by Alex Hormozi": "00:16:49"Key Concepts"Product Market Fit": "00:04:03""Brand Vision": "00:11:58""Customer Lifetime Value": "00:15:41"Recommendations"Develop Partnerships": "00:12:51""Financial Health of the Business": "00:13:45"Quotes"If you want to become a billionaire, you've got to get really, really, really good at helping other people become millionaires.": "00:20:42"Transcript:Josh Hadley 00:00:00  Today, I'm going to dive into how the role of a CEO entrepreneur has to evolve over the growth of that business and the tasks and the roles that that CEO is responsible for. Welcome to the Ecomm Breakthrough Podcast. I'm Josh Hadley. I've scaled my own ecommerce brand from 0 to 8 figures, and I'm actively building towards nine figures in sales. This podcast is where I document that journey and share the systems, the strategies, and the lessons learned in real time so that you can learn what actually matters and scale your own business. First of all, my name is Josh Hadley. I am a man of faith. I am a husband to a beautiful wife and a father of four children. I have been selling in the e-commerce space for over a decade, doing multi-million in revenue on channels such as Amazon, TikTok, Shop and Shopify. And I am also the host of the number one business strategy podcast for ecommerce entrepreneurs. And that is E-com breakthrough. Today, we're going to talk about what it means to actually be a CEO, especially when you're the entrepreneur who built the organization from scratch.Josh Hadley 00:00:58  And here's the challenge. There's not a direct playbook that applies to every single business that you have to follow. And so the role of the CEO is, frankly speaking, quite nebulous. And it requires a massive amount of adaptability and extensive leadership skills in order to pull this off in a significant way. At the end of the day, if you look at any $100 million brand, it all goes back to how good the original leader or founder was or was not. Sometimes there is kind of like lightning strikes and it's a really crappy leader and a really crappy founder, and they just hit a significant product market fit. That does happen. And honestly speaking, those are more often than not, a lot of the news stories that you hear about doesn't mean they were actually that good of an operator or that great of a leader. And so with that being said, what do you do and how do. How does your role as a CEO have to evolve as your ecommerce brand is growing over time? And so let's talk about it because this is something that has happened for me in my own business, and I'm speaking from experience.Josh Hadley 00:02:00  And to be honest with you, right now, I'm going through another weird inflection point in my business, and that's where this is coming from. I recently conducted a four week time study where I studied my time literally from sunup to sundown. I jotted down everything I did in 15 minute increments, and using AI and using my own human intelligence, I thought through and said, hey, what am I doing right? That is actually CEO level work, and what am I doing that like, is not CEO level work that needs to be delegated, deleted, or sometimes doubled down on. And so it's from that mindset that I understood, wow, there's a lot of things that I need to add, delete and delegate to other people. And that honestly leaves me in this like weird spot where, hey, if I'm delegating that to somebody else, what am I supposed to be doing? And so it's in that question of me asking ...

In April we are moving into budgeting for food. Our Saturday episodes will still be about decluttering. Our declutter focus area for April is your bedroom. In May we dreamed big! June brings us to one of the most useful topics in my group coaching course…meal planning. Ah, the feel of knowing exactly what's for dinner is the most stress-free feeling in the world! Anthony O'Neal is a personal finance expert, bestselling author, and host of The Table podcast and YouTube show. Since 2014, he has helped millions of people break free from debt, build wealth, and change their financial futures. In this episode, Anthony shares the experiences that shaped his approach to money—from earning his first paycheck at Taco Bell to making an $8,000 mistake after receiving a big check—and explains why taking personal responsibility, serving others, and building the right financial foundation are key to creating lasting wealth. On this episode we talk about: Why financial habits are often inherited from the way we see our parents handle money The importance of taking personal responsibility while recognizing flaws in financial systems How serving more people can lead to greater income and opportunities Anthony's “Escape Plan” for breaking free from living paycheck to paycheck Why strategic debt can be used to acquire assets and businesses—and the coming opportunity in the small-business wealth transfer Top 3 Takeaways Focus on impact, not income. Anthony believes income is a byproduct of the value and impact you create. The more people you serve, the more opportunities you create to increase your income. Take ownership of your financial situation. Even when systems or circumstances are working against you, blaming them won't change your situation. Start by identifying what you can control and making better decisions with the resources available to you. Get financially stable before trying to build wealth. Anthony's first step in his Escape Plan is to “clear the ground”—stabilize your income, build one month of savings, identify unnecessary consumer debt, and create a plan before moving on to wealth-building strategies. Notable Quotes “The more impact I have, the more income I will produce solely off of the impact that our team produces.” “The grass is gonna be greener wherever I water it.” “Your job is not to get rich tomorrow. It's not gonna happen. We need to get you stable.” Connect with Anthony O'Neal: Website: AnthonyONeal.com Book: Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck Social Media: Instagram: @anthonyoneal     TikTok: @_anthonyoneal  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/anthonyoneal  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aoneal X: @anthonyoneal    A Word from Our Sponsors: - The most successful business owners don't do it all themselves — they delegate.
