Johnny Woods Jr. and Jonathan Latshaw host a conversation about the most relevant topics facing people today. They are focused on not remaining stagnant in their beliefs and understanding but choose to discuss, grow and challenge the status quo in their lives and yours.

They cover social media debating, the RNC, Jacob Blake and Kyle Rittenhouse, being willing to have the hard conversations, and finally living with a renewed sense of purpose and bravery. At the end Johnny speaks his heart to people who might be feeling discouraged and overwhelmed.
On this week's episode, Johnny and Jonathan welcome a special guest - Jonathan's mom! While Jonathan knows her as mom, most people know her as Lynn Latshaw, pastor at The Barn Vineyard Church (where Jonathan pastored for many years). Lynn has been a pastor for over 30 years, while also a trained counselor and social justice advocate. She is the mother of 5 kids but a mentor and "mom" to so many more. Lynn has spearheaded the anti-racist and BLM talks and vision at The Barn which has impacted many. We invited her into the discussion to talk about steps the church can take to be part of the solution, not just part of the problem.
In this episode, Johnny and Jonathan talk about the American Church and how in the world it can be racist. They tackle the values of America and the church has adopted them as its own. They talk about how the LAW is elevated over people and the destructive results when you value systems over people. Oh and we might talk about taking a knee during the anthem and even Donald Trump.
Special Guest Sarah Peterson joins Johnny and Jonathan to the discuss White Privilege and White Fragility and if they are real and how to respond to it. Sarah is educator at North Bay where she works with primarily city kids introducing them to nature and science. She is also married to Gary Peterson who has worked as an EMT in the city for years and has heard many stories about injustices that Gary has witnessed.
