    Ivy Insights

The Unplug & Reboot podcast is a refreshing and inspiring listen for anyone seeking to cultivate more positivity and mental toughness in their lives. Host Karen brings a relatable and down-to-earth perspective, making the journey of self-improvement feel accessible and attainable. The first episode sets the tone for the entire series, as Karen shares her own struggles and offers practical tips to help listeners become their best selves.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Karen's ability to connect with her audience. She speaks from personal experience, sharing her own challenges and victories along the way. This authenticity creates a sense of camaraderie, making listeners feel understood and motivated to take action. Additionally, Karen's tips and techniques are simple yet effective, offering tangible ways to reframe negative thoughts and cultivate positive energy.

Another great aspect of this podcast is Karen's focus on self-care. She acknowledges that many people struggle with understanding what self-care truly means and how to incorporate it into their lives. By providing practical advice such as writing kind words about oneself on the mirror or finding small moments for joy throughout the day, Karen offers actionable steps towards prioritizing self-care.

In terms of drawbacks, one might argue that the content can be somewhat repetitive at times. While the core message of cultivating positivity is important, some listeners may find themselves craving more variety or depth in the topics covered. Additionally, those looking for a more structured format or expert interviews may not find what they are looking for in this podcast.

In conclusion, The Unplug & Reboot podcast is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to infuse more positivity and mental toughness into their lives. With relatable storytelling, practical tips, and a focus on self-care, host Karen guides listeners on a journey towards becoming their best selves. While it may lack some variety in content or expert perspectives, its authentic approach makes it an engaging and inspiring listen overall.

The path of getting triggered is pretty similar in almost all of us; someone does or says something that gets us. It can be someone saying something stupid, disrespectful, perhaps mean. Or It can be an action, an attendant too slow, a bus driver driving recklessly, an old lady walking too slow in front of us in a supermarket aisle. Whatever the reason is, we feel it is impossible not to get triggered by such a thing, and it's all their fault. The truth is, we get triggered because we choose to; it is our choice to react that way. In this episode, we will talk about how we perceive things. We will dive deep into why we react the way we do and how to control our responses. We will also talk about the impact of taking things said to us personally. We will go through some questions we can ask ourselves to avoid getting triggered by what people say to us and why we shouldn't try to change the things that get under our skin.I invite you to tune in and find out why it is better to let go of certain things more often in our lives. In This Episode, You Will Learn:It is not about what we hear; it is about how we perceive what we hear (1:20)Asking ourselves if what bothers us is going to matter later (1:59)We can change how we perceive certain things we hear, but we can't change what we hear (2:31)How can looking at the big picture help us (3:42)What stress can do to our brain and to us (4:03)Let's connect!Email: unplugreboot@gmail.com Instagram Hosted on Acast.
