This one stood out to me because I know I have fears and I know they are getting in the way of me living my life to the fullest. It comes from Reads with Ravi (@readswithravi) and it's a short but powerful reminder: “The fears we don't face become our limits.” - Robin Sharma. I have had things getting in my way for 20 + years and to top that off, not only do I know about them - a few of my best friends know it too. You see, they have been around me that long, always encouraging me that I can do these things, but the final decision needs to come from me. Another key element. Since it's been 20 or so years, I look ahead to another 20 years. Yikes!! I'll be just around the corner (if I'm blessed enough to see this corner) from turning 80 years old!!!! Time waits for nobody!! I don't have all the time in the world where we think we do sometimes. I will continue to try and “talk to myself, rather than listen to myself” in going after whatever I have to do to get through these fears. When I step back a bit, they really are not that big of a deal for sure. Thanks for listening. Again, it happened again. A message that not only I needed to see, but that I have been reminded about it from different places. This time it came from Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) where this message was shared: “You will never hear another person's voice more than you hear your own. Be intentional about the way that you talk to yourself.” It's an old saying that I have heard for a long time, but since I needed it as recently as this morning, I needed to share it with you. It's connected with - “talk to yourself rather than listen to yourself.” Most of the time when I'm feeling down about things in life, I start listening to the critic inside of me, instead of the coach and cheerleader! I know I need to continue to tap into that coach & cheerleader, without me having to wait for this quote coming back into my life. It's something I know I need to do, want to do, and will do!! How about you? Thanks for listening. Today's episode is one of the most powerful mindset shifts you can make — and it's this:
Saw another great post that had a very simple, yet powerful reminder for all of us and it came from POSITIVITY (@PositivitySaid) “Just enjoy life. You will never be this young again.” I sat back to let this sink in a bit and it reminds me to try and do the most with every day that I have. The things that I want to do, need to do, get to do, etc., and as I get older, some of those things (and many others), will only get more difficult with age and time adding up. It's true for all of us - make sure we remind ourselves of this point every day! Thanks for listening. There's something so exciting about discovering just how powerful your mind really is. The more you understand it, the more life begins to open in the most beautiful and unexpected ways. Today's episode is filled with those kinds of lightbulb moments—where healing, clarity, and joy come together. As Brandy continues her work with our beautiful volunteer Melissa, she helps reveal something that many people unknowingly experience: the mind linking up that it's safer to retreat from life than to fully live it. Despite Melissa's desire to heal, her subconscious patterns have been pulling her in the opposite direction—using meditation to check out, associating love with illness, and trying to feel valued by fixing others. As Brandy gently guides her to uncover these patterns, Melissa begins to recognize how deep the feelings of fear, hurt, and disconnection have been—along with the belief that life isn't safe, and that support only comes when she's unwell. Through these insights, Brandy illustrates how even the kindest people can stay stuck in loops of feeling unloved, unsupported, or isolated. This episode is filled with heartfelt realizations and transformative shifts that can help you reflect on your own emotional patterns and relationships—and take steps toward falling back in love with life. Brandy shares powerful insights such as: How subconscious emotional associations can quietly override conscious effort Why healing goes deeper than meditation, mindset, or affirmation work alone The energetic shifts needed to release old stories and step into joy, love, and connection How to break cycles of emotional isolation and rediscover your power to connect and thrive Come join us! Wellness expert and author Heather Grzych explores the pervasive influence of the negativity bias - the psychological tendency to focus more on what's wrong than what's right - and how it can disrupt our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Drawing from both spiritual and Ayurvedic wisdom, she unpacks how this mental habit creates emotional and physical impacts and blocks the subtle channels of the mind, leading to imbalances in the doshas and depletion of vitality. Heather shares practical tools for shifting out of this feedback loop. She reminds us that healing is not about perfection but about letting go - of criticism, shame, and old stories - so we can return to wholeness. Heather Grzych, ADLC is an American author and expert in Ayurvedic medicine who was formerly the head of product development for a multi-billion-dollar health insurance company. She currently serves as the president of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and is part of the faculty at Mount Madonna Institute College of Ayurveda. Heather's first book, The Ayurvedic Guide to Fertility, has sold thousands of copies worldwide, and her writing has been featured in Sports Illustrated, Yoga Journal, and the Sunday Independent. Her podcast, Wisdom of the Body, holds an average rating of 5 stars on Apple Podcasts and is in the top 3% of podcasts globally. It's spring time, trees are growing & blooming… saw a great post with wonderful connections to trees. Inspiration & More (@LifeWithJohn) reminded all of us to “Be like a tree. Stay grounded. Connect with your roots. Turn over a new leaf. Enjoy your unique, natural beauty. Keep growing.” - Joanne Raptis. Each one of these connections to being like a tree has many examples of how we can be like a tree. Nature as a whole can always teach us some great lessons. This one really got me thinking and I hope the points I bring to you help you in some way. Thanks for listening. Robert and special guest Dr. Dayna Harris discuss how to practice thankfulness even when we don't feel it. There are times when it's easy to see the good, and there are times when thinking positively seems like blind optimism. God is the same through all of it, and His love gives us a reason for gratitude every minute of every day. Placing our trust in Jesus leads to joy that surpasses any trial that may come our way.Subscribe to receive our latest videos!Website: https://www.sunvalleycc.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sunvalleycc/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sunvalleycc/Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@sunvalleyccTo support Sun Valley and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://www.sunvalleycc.com/givingGod loves you no matter who you are, what you've done, or what's been done to you.
