Waylon speaks with the Elephant community about the trap of positivity and how it can actually do the opposite of what we think, and result in us turning away from the outside world and instead showing up in the world in a more cold or withdrawn manner. Instead, if we are accepting, and powerful, and courageous, and brave, and vulnerable, by opening up to the world around us as it is—reality—we can hear, and learn from it and instead of sitting in stress or fear of hearing it, we can say, how can I help? How am I a part of this? And those are good questions to ask, because they then allow us to look at solutions. "Our hearts are not available if we're concerned first with feeling happy and relaxed. When our loyalty is to feeling happy and relaxed, it's actually a very stressful place to be because we're constantly trying to push away negative things and cling to positive things." ~ Waylon H. Lewis

I came across a great & simple reminder from Psyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) and the image is this quote: “Setbacks teach us lessons winning never will.” The image is of someone's hand and the quote is written in marker. Like a reminder note that we use to write on our hand so we wouldn't forget something important. We all have setbacks. We always will. It's part of being human. I look back at reminders of those that are no longer with us and what they taught us. If we can keep looking for the lessons in our setbacks, we can always be moving forward in our lives. What happens when the persona becomes the product? We sit down with creator and model Annie Miao to explore the strange, funny, and sometimes tender space where AI influencers, VTubers, and deepfakes collide with mental health, body image, and the business of being online. From cat ears to consent, we unpack why audiences follow people more than topics—and how that changes what “authentic” even means.Annie traces her path from bullied band kid to internet-native creative, sharing how the web offered belonging long before real life did. We get into the economics behind modern media—OnlyFans as a curiosity-powered Patreon, Hollywood and gaming chasing billion-dollar budgets, and the course economy where coaches coach coaches. Along the way, we challenge the culty edges of “life optimization” and ask what creators actually owe their communities: disclosure, value, and boundaries. Our most important pivot lands on mental health and body image. We talk toxic positivity, why suffering can be a teacher, and how body neutrality helps when self-love feels impossible. Models and bodybuilders aren't immune to dysmorphia—if anything, the pressure can be worse. So we trade mirror battles for kinder questions: What does my body let me do today? How do I nourish it without shame? With AI blurring faces and voices, we propose a simple ethic: tell the truth, label the edits, and keep the humanity in the loop.If you're curious about AI e-girls, burned out on hustle sermons, or just trying to feel like yourself on the internet, this one's for you. While the Afternoon Show continues to try and spread positivity, Eagles DT Jordan Davis is already confident and expresses it in this clip.
There's been a lot of negativity surrounding the Eagles and the WIP Afternoon Show are looking to change that with the WIP Afternoon Show positivity pledge. All it entails is giving the offense a standing ovation and not booing the team for just the 1st quarter vs the Raiders. Will you be taking the pledge?
To fully understand the extent of these blessings, it's time to deepen our meditative practice in acceptance, forgiveness, and appreciation. This puts us in closer touch with these parts of our life. Then, when we journal to ourselves and verbally converse with others about how and what we're thankful for, we celebrate growth and stimulate new achievements… Positivity attracts more positivity, and joy attracts more joy. This revolution is a perfect time for gratitude and self-reflection.

Send us a textIn this episode, we break down the lie that your worth depends on how much you accomplish. Many of us were taught to measure our value by productivity how many tasks we cross off, how “busy” we are but it's exhausting and untrue. We talk about unlearning that mindset, recognizing meaningful progress even when it's not a long checklist, and giving yourself permission to disconnect. Sometimes the most powerful reset is just stepping away for 10 minutes and allowing yourself to play.

I came across a short but powerful (and truthful) post from Reads with Ravi (@readswithravi) that reminds us all about something so meaningful. “If everything around seems dark, look again, you may be the light.” - Rumi. What an amazing and encouraging statement to always take with us wherever we go! I was watching a new show, Boston Blue and in the recent episode, one of the main characters brought up this fact that he needed to simply keep showing up to listen to and be there for others. To me, that is exactly what this post is all about. You may be the light that you think may not be around. Just keep doing your best. Keep showing up for others. You will make a difference for sure, even if you can't see it. Thanks for listening.
