We discussed the conversion of 236 S Ann St and 1709 Bank St, and got committee updates. 

This month's meeting featured Johns Hopkins from Baltimore Heritage, Luke Clippinger and the results of our transportation survey!

We discuss * making Upper Fells Point a CHAP district * vote on changing our bylaws to allow electronic newsletter delivery * get a presentation from the Traffic and Parking committee about traffic calming on Wolfe and Washington, parklets and slow streets * get a legislative update from District 46 Senator Bill Fergeson (and now Senate President) * and committee updates from the rest of the committees!

We hear from Michelle Lee of the State Attorney's Office, talk about the budget, and get committee reports. We also get nominations for UFPIA president.

The Housing Authority of Baltimore City comes by to talk about Perkins redevelopment, Zeke Cohen reports on things that his office is doing (including bringing a traffic light to Washington/Bank), the owners of the apartment on Pratt/Washington present a proposed new project, and we hear committee reports.

We hear from the parking authority about residential parking permits, and get committee reports.

We hear from the Corner Theater, Joe is elected parlimentarian, and we hear committee reports.

The Water Taxi came to talk about their open house rides that they are doing this Thursday. Also, we are collecting pictures of illegal truck traffic.   I talked about the effort to get participatory budgeting on the ballot this November.   Dahlak (former Arcos) are opening on June 29. Suzy Kramer from the Audubon comes to talk about the work they are doing in the area Nate Preddle (Planning Consultant) and Dan Haigen (Owner) talk about the work that is being done at 1924-28 E Pratt St Dan Johnson is elected treasurer I stammer through an explaination of the effort underway to get street sweeping on select blocks in the area. Lisa from Beautification talks about the Regester beautification project Janelle from saftey talks about her effort to combat illegal truck traffic. She also talked about the first meeting of the safety committee. Jeff May, land use, introduced the new catering/carry out at 219 Broadway Jan talked about the Garden Ramble that is next month (get your tickets now!) Finally, Thiru Vignarajah - State's Attorney's Office candidate - came to introduce himself.

Voting on the insurance provision in the bylaws, updating the voting rules, and getting updates from each of the committees.

Each of the committees talk about what their plans for the year, and the amount of money they will ask for in March. The Mayor's office also has a representative come to answer questions.
