Living in the western world has opened up our eyes to a lot of hate that human beings carry within themselves. And one of the most ignorant expression of that hate is the prejudice and discrimination of people based of the melanin in their skin. Black people are questioned at an very early stage, often targeted and very quickly locked up. Therefore stripped out of the basic foundation of makes us all human beings. Pride, dignity and honour is what makes human beings feel valued and these are universal values that we should never have to fight let alone beg for. However, when citizens feel that those basic rights are snatched away from them, the only option left is to challenge racism in all of its forms to gain it back.
