We're back after an unexpected break to illness! A lot has happened in the time we've been away. Richard went to an invitational tournament, Be'lakor's rules and detachment has been revealed AND we have lots of cool information about the new Space Orks codex! Warhammer Community has published a controversial article on how to kill Space Marines. We decided to break down this article and give our thoughts on their advice and then put forward our own thoughts how you kill the leading men of 40k!

Now we've both had a fair few games of 9th edition we have changed up our armies. Richard is trying out some Chaos cultists that he thinks will give him more flexibility in choosing secondaries and Roman has switched into a totally different style of list moving away from Knights and going into a troops spamming Adeptus Mechanicus list. As we go deeper into the episode we discuss what unit types are proving to be powerful in 9th edition and how to select the units from your codex that will give you the greatest chance of winning your games!

Talking to a few listeners about what to do with their armies in the new edition inspired me to do a full episode on finding synergies in 40k! This is a really important topic and one we will definitely visit again in the future. This episode will give you a nice over view of how to assess your codex and find the synergies that to lead you to writing a winning list!

We discuss the merits (or lack thereof) of the Warhammer supplies drops, as well as the exciting new changes to Space Marine profiles and weapons. Also we had listener reach to ask for help with using a combination of possessed and spawn in an Emperor's Children army and we talk about how you can do that!
