It's Wild Card Weekend, so we're playing the most dangerous game: who are we selfishly rooting for and why. The guys go matchup by matchup with Jets and Giants agendas all over the place, from hoping Carolina creates Bryce Young doubt (hello, Jets QB options) to rooting for pure chaos in Bears-Packers if it means more coaching openings. They also hit Bills-Jaguars, Eagles-Niners (and the John Harbaugh fear factor), plus the Patriots as the ultimate “please lose” postseason villain. Then it turns into full New York sports radio perfection: Cinco de Luncho takes over, Evan's brain gets exposed, and the crew reacts to the Saquon Barkley billboard shot at Giants fans on I-95. Hour 3 also dips into Knicks/Wizards draft-pick drama, Giants coordinator continuity talk (Kafka, Dart development), and a college QB watch that turns tonight's game into a Jets scouting mission. Key moments: rooting-interest power rankings, Giants coaching search circus, Saquon billboard outrage, Cinco de Luncho, and the phones lighting up with callers.
The guys kick off Wild Card Weekend by laying out their “selfish rooting interest” list, where Jets bitterness, Giants coaching paranoia, and pure chaos all collide. It starts with Rams-Panthers and a very specific agenda: hope Carolina's Bryce Young doubt grows just enough to create more QB options for the Jets, while also keeping the Panthers from becoming a real future threat. Then it turns into Bears-Packers, where personal grudges (Ben Johnson), weather talk, and the dream of a coaching-search circus take center stage. If the Packers lose, does it crack open another job and send the league into full-blown coach chaos? That's the debate. They hit Bills-Jaguars with the “maximum pain” theory for Buffalo fans, plus the Harbaugh ripple effects in Eagles-Niners, before the segment swerves into the Saquon billboard drama that feels like a direct shot at Giants fans. The back half includes Knicks-Wizards draft-pick paranoia, Giants OC continuity talk (Kafka and the Dart development angle), and a mini debate on why you can't blindly trust AI without fact-checking.

Chaos is indeed a ladder, as Game of Thrones claimed, and we find this out as Angel Millar joins me to discuss his new book, Transcend the Chaos: Proven Integral Techniques for Emotional Control, Confidence, and Creativity. In an age of “liquid modernity” where constant change and unpredictable pressure have become the norm, we explore how to navigate the complexity of an overwhelmingly nonlinear world. Angel will provide a unique working model to help integrate spiritual depth with professional and personal growth. We delve into practical techniques for emotional control and effective persuasion, drawing on historical breakthroughs from famous artists and inventors who utilized nonrational states to solve complex problems. By focusing on both internal self-development and external application, we aim to move beyond mere survival to simplify, transform, and ultimately rise above the unpredictable nature of modern life. What if the symptoms you've been battling are your body's way of asking for a different story? We sit down with Shannon—a wife, mom of three, nurse turned functional medicine coach—to trace a path from postpartum autoimmunity and burnout to gut healing, sobriety, and a faith-fueled life that actually works. Her journey starts with a doctor who asked better questions and a decision to believe the process could work. From there, everything shifted: inflammation dropped, brain fog cleared, weight released, and joy came back online. We unpack why gut health is the master key—how removing inflammatory triggers, treating infections like H. pylori, and restoring minerals can resolve skin flares (including hidradenitis), balance hormones, and steady mood. Shannon shares how quitting alcohol was less about deprivation and more about reclaiming her nervous system, her marriage, and her spiritual clarity. Alcohol is a toxin and a microbiome disruptor; letting it go created space for genuine healing and a clear mind. AA, community, and surrender to God anchored the change and gave her a roadmap that holds during vacations, busy seasons, and life's mess.Trauma weaves through this conversation with honesty and care. We explore how the body keeps the score, why fear blocks healing, and how tools like EMDR and somatic work help release stuck patterns. Most of all, we keep it simple: belief plus action beats perfection. Start with hydration, protein, fiber, sleep, and one courageous step—remove the thing you know is hurting you. Our coaching sisterhood brings structure, testing, IV nutrient therapy, and weekly support so you're never alone. If you're tired of trying to out-supplement exhaustion, this story will show you a kinder, proven way back to energy, confidence, and faith. If this resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help more women find a path to real healing. If you're ready to move beyond trying harder and start living more aligned, you're invited to join Empowered by Faith — LIVE, a guided 5-day reset led by Dr. Tabatha that helps women reset body, mind, and spirit through simple, faith-centered rhythms.

Joe breaks down Carson Beck's performance in the Fiesta Bowl, highlighting his big-time throws and the game-winning drive where he sealed the victory with his legs. The discussion revisits several controversial officiating moments, including a questionable targeting call and inconsistent pass interference rulings late in the game. Miami's final drive put the game away and capped a massive night for the program, which earned a reported $20 million with the win. The segment also praises the remarkable run Miami's defense is on and Beck's ability to overcome adversity and deliver when it mattered most.

In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom Podcast, host Stewart Alsop interviews Aurelio Gialluca, an economist and full stack data professional who works across finance, retail, and AI as both a data engineer and machine learning developer, while also exploring human consciousness and psychology. Their wide-ranging conversation covers the intersection of science and psychology, the unique cultural characteristics that make Argentina a haven for eccentrics (drawing parallels to the United States), and how Argentine culture has produced globally influential figures from Borges to Maradona to Che Guevara. They explore the current AI landscape as a "centralizing force" creating cultural homogenization (particularly evident in LinkedIn's cookie-cutter content), discuss the potential futures of AI development from dystopian surveillance states to anarchic chaos, and examine how Argentina's emotionally mature, non-linear communication style might offer insights for navigating technological change. The conversation concludes with Gialluca describing his ambitious project to build a custom water-cooled workstation with industrial-grade processors for his quantitative hedge fund, highlighting the practical challenges of heat management and the recent tripling of RAM prices due to market consolidation.Timestams00:00 Exploring the Intersection of Psychology and Science02:55 Cultural Eccentricity: Argentina vs. the United States05:36 The Influence of Religion on National Identity08:50 The Unique Argentine Cultural Landscape11:49 Soft Power and Cultural Influence14:48 Political Figures and Their Cultural Impact17:50 The Role of Sports in Shaping National Identity20:49 The Evolution of Argentine Music and Subcultures23:41 AI and the Future of Cultural Dynamics26:47 Navigating the Chaos of AI in Culture33:50 Equilibrating Society for a Sustainable Future35:10 The Patchwork Age: Decentralization and Society35:56 The Impact of AI on Human Connection38:06 Individualism vs. Collective Rules in Society39:26 The Future of AI and Global Regulations40:16 Biotechnology: The Next Frontier42:19 Building a Personal AI Lab45:51 Tiers of AI Labs: From Personal to Industrial48:35 Mathematics and AI: The Foundation of Innovation52:12 Stochastic Models and Predictive Analytics55:47 Building a Supercomputer: Hardware InsightsKey Insights1. Argentina's Cultural Exceptionalism and Emotional Maturity: Argentina stands out globally for allowing eccentrics to flourish and having a non-linear communication style that Gialluca describes as "non-monotonous systems." Argentines can joke profoundly and be eccentric while simultaneously being completely organized and straightforward, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and maturity that comes from their unique cultural blend of European romanticism and Latino lightheartedness.2. Argentina as an Underrecognized Cultural Superpower: Despite being introverted about their achievements, Argentina produces an enormous amount of global culture through music, literature, and iconic figures like Borges, Maradona, Messi, and Che Guevara. These cultural exports have shaped entire generations worldwide, with Argentina "stealing the thunder" from other nations and creating lasting soft power influence that people don't fully recognize as Argentine.3. AI's Cultural Impact Follows Oscillating Patterns: Culture operates as a dynamic system that oscillates between centralization and decentralization like a sine wave. AI currently represents a massive centralizing force, as seen in LinkedIn's homogenized content, but this will inevitably trigger a decentralization phase. The speed of this cultural transformation has accelerated dramatically, with changes that once took generations now happening in years.4. The Coming Bifurcation of AI Futures: Gialluca identifies two extreme possible endpoints for AI development: complete centralized control (the "Mordor" scenario with total surveillance) or complete chaos where everyone has access to dangerous capabilities like creating weapons or viruses. Finding a middle path between these extremes is essential for society's survival, requiring careful equilibrium between accessibility and safety.5. Individual AI Labs Are Becoming Democratically Accessible: Gialluca outlines a tier system for AI capabilities, where individuals can now build "tier one" labs capable of fine-tuning models and processing massive datasets for tens of thousands of dollars. This democratization means that capabilities once requiring teams of PhD scientists can now be achieved by dedicated individuals, fundamentally changing the landscape of AI development and access.6. Hardware Constraints Are the New Limiting Factor: While AI capabilities are rapidly advancing, practical implementation is increasingly constrained by hardware availability and cost. RAM prices have tripled in recent months, and the challenge of managing enormous heat output from powerful processors requires sophisticated cooling systems. These physical limitations are becoming the primary bottleneck for individual AI development.7. Data Quality Over Quantity Is the Critical Challenge: The main bottleneck for AI advancement is no longer energy or GPUs, but high-quality data for training. Early data labeling efforts produced poor results because labelers lacked domain expertise. The future lies in reinforcement learning (RL) environments where AI systems can generate their own high-quality training data, representing a fundamental shift in how AI systems learn and develop.

===== MDJ Script/ Top Stories for January 9th Publish Date: January 9th Commercial: From the BG AD Group Studio, Welcome to the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast. Today is Friday, January 9th and Happy Birthday to Jimmy Page I’m Keith Ippolito and here are the stories Cobb is talking about, presented by Times Journal Georgia schedules election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene Marietta Theatre Company announces 2026 season Flu season hits Georgia harder this year — What you should be watching for Plus, Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on saturated fats All of this and more is coming up on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! BREAK: INGLES 4 STORY 1: Georgia schedules election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene Georgia’s 14th Congressional District is gearing up for a special election on March 10, following Marjorie Taylor Greene’s abrupt resignation. Greene, once a staunch Trump ally, stepped down after a public fallout with the president over her push to release Jeffrey Epstein-related documents. Trump called her a “traitor” and vowed to back her challenger if she ran again. Ouch. The race? Already crowded. Nearly two dozen candidates are eyeing the seat, including two Democrats, an independent, and 20 Republicans. Big names like State Sen. Colton Moore and Dalton Councilman Nicky Lama are in the mix. Qualifying runs Jan. 12–14, with a $5,220 fee. STORY 2: Marietta Theatre Company announces 2026 season Marietta Theatre Company just dropped its 2026 season lineup, and honestly? It’s a good one. Tickets are already on sale—season passes start at $65, and they’re flexible, so no stressing over dates. “Live theater sticks with you—it’s magic that lingers,” said Katrina Stroup, the company’s president. “This season? Laughter, music, joy. We’ve got it all.” Here’s what’s coming: Little Shop of Horrors (Jan. 22-31): A cult classic with humor, heart, and a man-eating plant. 9 to 5: The Musical (May 28-June 6): Dolly Parton. Friendship. Revenge. Enough said. All Shook Up (Aug. 13-22): Elvis meets Twelfth Night. Chaos ensues. Details at mariettatheatre.tix.com. STORY 3: Flu season hits Georgia harder this year — What you should be watching for Flu season’s here, and Georgia’s getting hit hard—again. Over 300 people have been hospitalized since Dec. 21, and it’s not just the flu. RSV and colds are making the rounds too. Feeling run down? Fever, chills, body aches, sore throat? Yeah, it might be the flu. Dr. Earl Stewart Jr. from Wellstar says Influenza A (H3N2) is the big culprit this year, hitting kids, seniors, and folks with chronic conditions the hardest. Symptoms usually last 5–7 days, but that cough? It might stick around for weeks. When to worry? If you’re struggling to breathe, have chest pain, or your kid’s lethargic and not drinking fluids—get to the ER. Prevention? The usual suspects: flu shots, handwashing, rest, and staying hydrated. And if you do catch it, antivirals like Tamiflu can help—especially if you act fast. Stay safe, everyone. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.799.6810 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: INGLES 4 STORY 4: Cobb Prom Swap Got an old prom dress or suit gathering dust in your closet? Give it a second life at the Cobb Prom Swap! The Cobb County Public Library is collecting gently used dresses, suits, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and even new, unused cosmetics through Feb. 7. Drop-off locations include: East Cobb Library, Marietta North Cobb Library, Kennesaw Powder Springs Library, Powder Springs Vinings Library, Atlanta West Cobb Library, Kennesaw Then, teens can shop for free at the Prom Swap events—first-come, first-served—on Feb. 21 (South Cobb Library, Mableton) and Feb. 28 (Switzer Library, Marietta). Perfect outfits, no price tags. STORY 5: Wheeler overcomes rocky start to beat Cherokee Cherokee came out swinging, but Wheeler landed the knockout punch, pulling away for a 78-64 win Tuesday night at Cherokee High. The Wildcats (12-3, 4-0 Region 5AAAAAA) have been living out of suitcases for weeks, and while this wasn’t their cleanest game, they handed the Warriors (11-5, 3-1) their first region loss—without starters Kevin Savage and Lamarrion Lewis. UConn commit Colben Landrew was unstoppable, dropping 26 points. Jaron Saulsberry added 17, and Amare James chipped in 16, including a half-court buzzer-beater that sparked Wheeler’s comeback. Cherokee started hot—Sean Hamilton’s seven-point run helped build a 20-6 lead. But Wheeler clawed back, outscoring the Warriors 26-12 in the second quarter and never looking back. FALCONS: Kirk Cousins and the Falcons just shook up his contract—again. According to reports, they’ve reworked the final two years of his four-year, $180 million deal, giving Atlanta some breathing room with the salary cap. But here’s the kicker: by March 13, 2026, they’ll have to decide if Cousins sticks around. Why? A $67.9 million guarantee for 2027 kicks in that day. And let’s be real—at 38, with a no-trade clause, Cousins isn’t exactly a hot commodity. The new deal slashes his 2026 base salary from $35 million to $2.1 million, shifting that cash to 2027. Still, he’s got a $10 million roster bonus locked in for next year. Atlanta signed Cousins in 2024 with $100 million guaranteed, then drafted Michael Penix Jr. at No. 8. But when Penix tore his ACL, Cousins stepped in, starting seven games. His numbers? Solid-ish: 1,721 yards, 10 TDs, five picks. Not bad for a guy nearing 40. I'm Keith Ippolito and that’s your MDJ Sports Minute. And now here is Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on saturated fats We’ll have closing comments after this. Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Poor Choices and Chaos the fatal ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis that has sparked nationwide controversy. Clay and Buck dissect the incident where a 37-year-old woman allegedly used her vehicle to obstruct federal immigration enforcement, resulting in her death. They emphasize video evidence showing the ICE officer acted in self-defense, countering claims from Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz, who labeled the shooting as excessive force and called for protests. The hosts argue this tragedy reflects a deeper problem within the Democratic Party’s anti-law enforcement rhetoric, which encourages dangerous confrontations with federal officers. VP Vance Calls Out the Left Live White House briefing featuring Vice President JD Vance and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who deliver a fiery defense of ICE and condemn the media for spreading “lies” about the incident. Vance asserts that the woman killed was part of a broader left-wing network aimed at obstructing immigration enforcement through doxxing, harassment, and even domestic terrorism tactics. He vows tougher federal action, including a new Assistant Attorney General role to prosecute those inciting violence against law enforcement. The briefing underscores the administration’s stance: enforcing immigration law is non-negotiable, and Democrats must stop rallying mobs against federal officers. Good News for MAHA Moms Guest Katie Zacharia joins to weigh in on the political fallout and broader implications. She highlights how sanctuary city policies and anti-ICE activism have fueled violence and fraud, citing California’s staggering $72 billion fraud scandal under Gavin Newsom and systemic failures in oversight. Katie calls for federal action, including suspending aid to jurisdictions violating the Supremacy Clause. The conversation shifts to California’s ongoing crises: wildfire recovery delays in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, where red tape and environmental regulations have stalled rebuilding efforts, leaving homeowners with plummeting property values. Katie also breaks down the proposed 5% billionaire wealth tax, warning it will accelerate the exodus of tech moguls and entrepreneurs from California while funding Medi-Cal programs strained by free healthcare for illegal immigrants. The hour also touches on RFK Jr.’s food pyramid overhaul and vaccine schedule changes, which have energized “Maha Moms” and even some liberal parents seeking reform in children’s health standards. Katie praises Trump for empowering RFK Jr. to challenge Big Pharma and promote healthier policies. Audience Talkbacks! Clay and Buck then pivot to lighter—but fiery—cultural debates, including regional cuisine hot takes and the “most overrated foods” in America. From Philly cheesesteaks and mint juleps to Puerto Rican Mofongo, the hosts don’t hold back, sparking laughs and listener engagement. They also revisit the nostalgia (and regret) of Jägermeister shots and Jägerbombs, contrasting them with underrated drinks like espresso martinis and sangria. Chaos erupted on Wednesday after ICE fatally shot a rioter who attempted to run over agents in Minneapolis. The Department of Homeland Security called it an “act of domestic terrorism.” The city is known to have a large militant leftist block, as we saw during the 2020 riots over the death of fentanyl addict George Floyd while in police custody. Are you ready to stop managing your life and start allowing your Master Self to take the wheel? In this explosive and provocative episode, Michael welcomes back Geoffrey Hoppe, channeler of Adamus Saint Germain, for a no-holds-barred conversation about the massive energetic shifts of 2026. Adamus Saint Germain reveals the SHOCKING TRUTH: We aren't just entering Humanity 2.0; we are leaping into Humanity 5.0. This isn't about fixing the old world; it is about the emergence of New Sentience, a whole new way of perceiving reality that replaces the mental mind. Discover why Gaia is leaving, why AI is your greatest spiritual mirror, and why the "C-Word" (Consciousness) is the only game in town for 2026. Key Topics: Humanity 5.0: Why the new era is here now and why we are 2,000 years overdue for this massive shift in consciousness. The reason you feel dizzy and disoriented, your old mental "driver" is moving to the backseat so a non-linear, non-local awareness can take over. Why Earth's guardian spirit is leaving and what it means for humans to finally take responsibility for the planet. The "C" Word: Why 2026 is officially the year of Consciousness and experiential awareness. How to name your AI and use it as a distortion-free mirror to accelerate your personal growth. Adamus's controversial teaching on radical responsibility, why there are no victims, only creators choosing experiences to learn. Why "Allowing" is the only practice you need to navigate the chaos and get out of your own way. This is a wake-up call. If you are tired of the struggle, this message will remind you that you are a Master and it is time to let your energy serve you. Join the Inspire Nation Soul Family!

Today's guest is Hayden Mitchell, Ph.D. Hayden is a sports performance coach, educator, and researcher specializing in movement ecology and pedagogy, helping coaches design environments that support learning, resilience, self-actualization, and sustainable athletic performance through play and exploration. There is a great deal of conversation in sports performance around methods, including exercises, drills, systems, and models, but far less attention is given to coaching itself. Coaching methodology quietly shapes how athletes experience training, how they relate to challenge and failure, and ultimately how fully they are able to express themselves in performance. On the show today, Hayden speaks about exploring how coaching and physical education shape not just performance, but the whole human being. Hayden shares his path through sport, teaching, and doctoral work, including how life experiences changed his approach to leadership, control, and play. Together they discuss movement ecology, value orientations in coaching, such as mastery, learning process, self-actualization, social responsibility, and ecological integration, and why environment often matters as much as programming. The conversation highlights rhythm, joy, and exploration, along with practical ways coaches can use restraint, better questions, and playful constraints to help athletes own their development. Early coaching growth often comes from trying ideas, observing outcomes, and refining approaches. Allow room for trial and error in training rather than locking into rigid systems too early. Encourage athletes to feel and explore movement solutions instead of chasing perfect reps. Reflection after sessions helps clarify what actually transferred versus what just looked good. 13:55 – Movement quality creates the foundation for sustainable performance. Chasing outputs too early can hide inefficient movement strategies. Build positions, shapes, and rhythm before emphasizing max speed or max load. Use submaximal work to groove coordination and reduce compensation patterns. Improved movement quality often raises outputs without directly training them. 21:18 – Constraints guide learning better than constant verbal correction. Design drills that naturally guide athletes toward desired solutions. Reduce cue overload by letting the task do the teaching. Constraints promote adaptability instead of dependency on coaching feedback. This approach scales well in team settings with limited coaching bandwidth. 30:07 – Strength training should support movement, not replace it. Choose lifts that reinforce postures and force directions seen in sport. Avoid chasing strength numbers that disrupt rhythm or coordination. Use strength work to enhance confidence and robustness, not fatigue accumulation. Strong athletes still need to move well under dynamic conditions. 39:50 – Variability is a key driver of resilience. Expose athletes to multiple movement patterns and speeds. Avoid over standardizing drills to the point of robotic execution. Small variations build adaptability without sacrificing intent. Resilient athletes tolerate change better during competition. 48:26 – Youth athletes need exposure, not specialization. Prioritize broad skill development over early performance metrics. Multiple sports and movement environments improve long term ceilings. Avoid labeling young athletes too early based on temporary traits. Early diversity reduces burnout and overuse issues. 57:41 – Decision-making matters when athletes are tired. Fatigue reveals movement habits and decision quality. Train cognition alongside physical outputs when appropriate. Simple competitive games expose real world decision challenges. Performance under fatigue reflects true readiness. 1:06:10 – Simple programs executed well outperform complex plans done poorly. Clarity improves athlete buy in and consistency. Fewer exercises done with intent beat bloated sessions. Complexity should serve adaptation, not ego. Great programs are easy to repeat and sustain. 1:14:22 – Long term development requires patience and perspective. Short term gains should not compromise future potential. Progress is rarely linear, especially in young athletes. Coaching success is measured in years, not weeks. Build athletes you would want to train again in five years. Quotes from Hayden “Good movement solves a lot of problems before strength ever enters the conversation.” “When you design the environment well, you do not need to talk nearly as much.” “Outputs are easy to measure, but they are not always the most important thing.” “Variability is not chaos. It is preparation.” “Athletes who only know one solution struggle when conditions change.” “Young athletes do not need more specialization, they need more experiences.” “Strength should support expression, not restrict it.” “Simple does not mean easy. It means intentional.” “Fatigue exposes habits, not flaws.” “The goal is not just better athletes, but athletes who last.” About Hayden Mitchell Hayden Mitchell, PhD is a sports performance coach, educator, and researcher whose work sits at the intersection of movement ecology, pedagogy, and human development. He has coached and taught across a wide range of settings, from youth and collegiate sport to military, adaptive populations, and general fitness, working with ages 4 to 90. Hayden holds a doctorate in Human Performance and Sport Pedagogy and focuses on how environment, values, and teaching behaviors shape learning, resilience, and performance. His work emphasizes play, rhythm, and self-actualization, helping coaches and athletes move beyond rigid systems toward practices that develop both performance capacity and the whole human being.

Tragedy struck in Minneapolis, Minnesota as ICE agents fatally shot a woman using her vehicle as a weapon. 37 year old Renee Good was blocking the road as ICE officers tried to make their way through. The video shows an ICE officer opening fire as Renee Good hits the gas in his direction. Sanctuary cities like Minneapolis often create chaotic and dangerous situations as local police refuse to assist ICE agents. These conditions are forcing ICE agents to police the area while trying to do their job of detaining illegal immigrants. Tragedies like this can be avoided if local law enforcement would intervene when protestors confront and put ICE agents is dangerous situations. Bobby Kennedy flipped the food pyramid upside-down. With a focus on eating real food, protein dairy and health fats are at the top alongside fruits and vegetables. The childhood vaccine schedule was overhauled as well, going from 72 down to 11 recommended vaccines. This is keeping in line with other developed countries such as Denmark and their vaccine schedule. The $8 billion fraud exposed in Minnesota has forced Tim Walz not to seek reelection, but the bigger question is how much fraud is actually affecting our entire nation? Ever feel like January dares you to set a giant goal you'll abandon by the second week? We flip that script with a smarter, kinder approach: monthly goals, clear boundaries, and systems that respect your energy instead of punishing it. Along the way, we riff on time-zone chaos, a viral Brooklyn Bridge “fireworks” hoax, and a running DeLorean bit that somehow keeps steering us back to sustainable change. We open with the truth behind creative burnout: daily posting streaks, analytics anxiety, and the illusion that “more” equals “better.” Then we get tactical. Take real time off without tanking momentum by batching on high-energy days, lowering output when your tank is empty, and treating deep research like a campaign with a clear scope. If you lift, think like an athlete—cycle intensity, plan recovery, and aim for weekly consistency over heroics.Instead of one grand resolution, we offer two on-ramps you can actually keep: pick a date (“I start by March 26”) or pick a condition (“I start after three nights of 7-hour sleep”). From there, switch to monthly goals with one behavior, one metric, and one constraint—three 30-minute workouts, four home-cooked dinners, or one off-screen evening each week. We also take on internet grifters and the dopamine drip of “up 3 percent, down 4 percent,” and explain how to protect your attention so your work stays sharp and your life stays sane. The thread through the jokes and trivia is identity. You don't need a new year to become the person who shows up—you need a smaller target, a repeatable system, and the grace to reset often. Tap play, set one tiny goal for the next four weeks, and tell us what you're starting. If this helped, follow, share with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review so more people find the show.
