Welcome to the book-less bookclub about womanhood, marriage, friendships, kids, work, play and everything in between. We aspire to create a sacred and honest space, free of judgment and shame, where verbal diarrhea is welcomed and we can all come just as we are. Because that’s enough! We hope you fe…
Welcome to this little corner in the world. It's been a while since I've shared a new podcast. Sometimes I get lost in the question of “why?” And that leaves me sitting in "pause" instead of moving ahead. The truth is I started the conversations on “naked” so more of us would know that we aren't alone and hopefully spread a little courage, hope & love. We are all living out our stories and each one matters. This is the why. This is why we are here telling of our stories, so you and others are reminded that together we get through the tough, painful, questioning chapters.
This conversation was a bit everything. A mixture of laughter and tears, as the last decade has brought a lot of new norms for Divya. She talks about marriage, moving to Malaysia, and the devastating loss of her brother. Her perspective and insight is so real and enlightening, it is such an honour to have her share her story on ‘naked'.
Episode 3, My dearest friend of 30 years shares about a traumatic accident that changed her life. At the time, she was a busy mom of three littles and life came to a screeching halt when she was in a motorbike collision. Skye talks about recovering from multiple surgeries, and learning how to walk again, while juggling a busy life with kids. I've always been so inspired by her and how she leaned towards hope even on the hardest days. I am so honoured she joined us on ‘Naked' to tell her story.
Episode 2, My first conversation on Naked is with my Dad. It's such an honour to sit with him as he talks about his life altering accident when he was only seven years old. The challenges of learning to speak, walk, talk and learn a new way of living. His life tells a story of resilience, courage, hope and faith.
Episode 1, in her new podcast, is where Janelle sets the stage for what is to come in this series. In the following episodes Janelle talks to people from all walks of life about their stories and when it all changed for them. In this episode Janelle tells part of her story about when it all changed for her. She holds nothing back as she talks about her journey with depression, breakdown, and dealing with peoples expectations.
It’s been nearly a year since we all started hunking down in our homes, we’ve been a little silent as we’ve been trying to find our way through. But here we are.. just us in our all realness.
It’s that time of year and more than any other Sept we are all feeling a lot. Our thoughts, fears, excitement & emotions seem to be at all time high. So it’s time chat about going back to school, however that look for you. We are excited to start this new season with themed chats! September is all about school.
We weren’t sure where the podcast was going to take us but we discovered that the beauty of giving ourselves permission in the midst of so many unknowns is what is needed at this time. This podcast carried us to a space about the truths of homeschooling, social media and knowing we are enough during this pandemic.
We’re back from our podcast hiatus, join us in our mostly indoor life of scheduling, homeschooling, quarantining, baking. Well..... maybe not baking, AND most importantly staying alive.
What is Valentine’s Day to you? Is it just commercial bullsh$t that you try to avoid or a day you intentionally look forward to? Janelle & Sarah navigate through it all on this pod.
Life’s busyness can take over and easily suck the joy right out of us. Today we chat about letting go and letting our silly show up. We are often caught up with the chatter in our heads that we lose sight of what is in front of us. We need to get out, surround ourselves with people who make us belly laugh and let loose.
Time to talk Christmas and all the traditions that have carried us from childhood till now!
In this podcast, we find ourselves in a space of infinite possibilities to chat about. However, listening to our bodies and souls, they lead us in a direction that was not preconceived. Sharing the same space with each other and allowing vulnerability, an epiphany arose and led us to a healthy Monday.
Two friends. Two microphones. A whole lot of honesty. We’re bringing our book-less bookclub, vulnerability, sometimes hysterical selves and always peanut butter drenched apples from our living room to yours. Come hang out as we talk about the journey that brought us to birth WHAT THE FAULKNER. But don’t worry No pen and paper needed.
