Often, our need to stay in situations goes beyond what we can see with the naked eye. Walking away from what no longer serves you requires mourning what you thought would last. Without knowing how the body and heart will respond, it can feel easier to endure familiar pain or avoid ruffling feathers out of fear that others may not agree. In this episode, I'Wanna discusses how leaving when God says “leave” becomes the only choice if you are to become who He created you to be.

Today on the podcast, we welcome Walking the Text partners Brad Gray and Brad Nelson, who believe the Lord's Prayer holds a transformative power that often goes unnoticed. Longtime friends of GTI, Brad and Brad have guided many tours through Israel and Turkey, helping travelers encounter Scripture in its original context. They've recently launched an ambitious new project centered on the Lord's Prayer, including a feature film, a book titled Bringing Heaven Here, and a seven-episode video series premiering Easter 2026. Their goal is simple yet profound: to help people grow not only in biblical understanding, but in the way they live out their faith each day.Out of the Bible's 1,189 chapters across 66 books, the Lord's Prayer stands as a powerful summary of who God is, why Jesus came, and what our purpose is here on earth.https://thelordsprayer.com/walkingthetext.comhttps://youtu.be/EsQpbnrv2xQ

In this episode of A Psychic's Story, Nichole Bigley welcomes internationally recognized psychic medium, teacher, and author MaryAnn DiMarco for a heartfelt conversation about intuition, spirit guides, and learning how to live a truly guided life. MaryAnn shares her grounded, compassionate approach to spirituality — one that honors both divine guidance and the very real human journey we're here to experience. Together, Nichole and MaryAnn explore how intuition is something we're all born with, how spirit communicates in subtle and practical ways, and why trust is the bridge between guidance and action. Listen to this episode to hear about: What the word psychic really means — and why intuition is simply inner knowing. MaryAnn's early experiences with Spirit and growing up in a spiritually open family. How Spirit Guides support us without taking over our free will. The “road trip” metaphor for life — and why detours often hold our greatest lessons. Recognizing repeating patterns as soul contracts asking for healing and growth. How to tell the difference between intuitive guidance and fear-based thinking — without spiritually bypassing the human experience. MaryAnn also opens up about navigating midlife transitions, grief, identity shifts, and self-trust — and how her relationship with spirit continues to evolve right alongside her students. Her message is clear and empowering…you don't need to outsource your power to anyone — the guidance you're seeking already lives within you. Today, I am delighted to be joined by the pioneers who changed everything for me. They are Larry and Belinda Wurn, the creators of Clear Passage therapy. We are diving into a topic today that was pivotal in my own fertility journey. We're talking about adhesions, the invisible internal bonds that form after surgery, infection, or trauma, quietly disrupting your body in ways most people never suspect. They can block fallopian tubes, trigger chronic pain, cause bowel obstructions, and prevent conception, yet most women are unaware of them. After being left with a frozen pelvis and debilitating pain following surgery and radiation, doctors told Belinda she would live with pain forever. Larry and Belinda refused to accept that, and over the next 40 years, they developed a therapy that has helped about 2,000 women reverse infertility, avoid major surgeries, and reclaim their lives without drugs or surgery. Their work was game-changing for me, and I know it can help many of you, too. Stay tuned to learn what adhesions are, how they affect fertility and overall health, and how this remarkable therapy works. Techniques to Reduce Adhesion-Related Tightness Gentle abdominal massage using light fingertip pressure over the abdomen Diaphragmatic breathing to relax the abdominal wall and support tissue glide Pelvic and hip mobility movements (slow tilts, circles, and side bends) Walking or other low-impact movement to maintain circulation and flexibility Soft myofascial stretching with long, gentle holds Light heat therapy to relax superficial tension and improve comfort Bio: Larry & Belinda Wurn Larry and Belinda Wurn are physical therapists who have spent over 40 years developing Clear Passage®️ therapy, a non surgical, drug free, hands on approach designed to reduce adhesions and restore function. Their work began after Belinda developed a frozen pelvis following surgery and radiation in 1984. When doctors warned further surgery would worsen her condition, the couple pursued extensive training and began creating manual techniques to decrease adhesions naturally. Clear Passage®️ therapy has been supported by peer reviewed research and shown to reverse infertility, reduce chronic pain, improve sexual function, and clear bowel obstructions. The Wurns train therapists internationally, with clinics serving patients across the USA and UK. In this episode: What adhesions are, and why most women never even know they have them How adhesions impact women's health and fertility Why conventional scans cannot detect adhesions How trained practitioners detect the presence of adhesions The benefits of Clear Passage Therapy over conventional treatment The best way to schedule your Clear Passage therapy sessions for the most effective results How to maintain the results after Clear Passage therapy Links and Resources: Use code CREATINE to get 10% off Creatine Calocurb Clinical — Appetite & Craving SupportA practitioner-exclusive, plant-based supplement designed to enhance your body's natural fullness signals (GLP-1 and PYY), helping reduce cravings and calorie intake. When God's Ways Leave You Confused or Hurting What do you do when God doesn't make sense? When you're praying… trusting… being faithful — yet grief still comes, sickness lingers, finances stay tight, or answers never arrive? In this episode, we wrestle honestly with one of the most difficult and unsettling passages in Scripture — Ezekiel 24, where God tells the prophet Ezekiel that his wife will die and then commands him not to mourn publicly. This episode is for: Christian women walking through grief, loss, sickness, or deep confusion Believers struggling to reconcile God's goodness with painful circumstances Anyone asking, “God, what are You doing — and can I still trust You?” You'll learn what the Bible says to do when God's actions feel confusing or unfair, why God is not a “genie in a bottle,” and how to anchor your faith when understanding feels out of reach. If you're seeking thoughtful, faith-filled clarity around your health or next steps, I offer one-time Health Clarity Sessions for women who want Christ-centered guidance without overwhelm.

Walking sims used to get the brunt of this, but the same could also be said for games like Sword of the Sea director Matt Nava's most famous works, Journey and Abzu. Sword of the Sea may not be an intentional response to those criticisms, but it does add more "involved" gameplay into the fold, incorporating sand surfing and tricks into your verb set. It then begs the discussion- on paper, adding more involved gameplay is good, right? But is that always the case? When Life Forces You to Zoom Out: Leadership, Faith, and What Really Matters This episode isn't about money, investing, or business tactics. It's about life, when it stops you in your tracks and forces you to reevaluate everything. I open up about what our family is walking through right now with our daughter, Logan, and how this season has reshaped the way I think about leadership, time, faith, and legacy. This is a raw conversation about carrying responsibility while your heart is heavy, about showing up when you're exhausted, and about learning that some of life's greatest lessons are forged in the hardest chapters. If you're facing something difficult right now, this episode is a reminder: You're not alone. And this season is not wasted. Episode Timeline and Highlights [0:00] Why this episode is different [1:30] Walking through the hardest chapter as a parent [5:00] The clarity pain delivers [7:40] Leadership under pressure [10:30] Time as the true form of wealth [12:40] Faith over control [15:00] Redefining legacy [17:30] Final reflections for hard seasons Key Takeaways • Pain has a way of clarifying what matters • Leadership is often quiet and steady • Time with loved ones compounds more than money ever will • Faith grows when control fades • Legacy is built in the present, not the future Quotables "Every bedtime is wealth." "No return on investment will ever beat presence." "Hard seasons don't break you—they shape you." If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who's walking through a hard season. And if that person is you—reach out. I don't need anything from you. I just want to connect. We're all in this together.
“Belief isn't a feeling — it's a decision.” – Dean Otto One moment, Dean Otto was living life on his terms — an avid cyclist, athlete, & high-achieving leader. And then, everything changed. On what should have been a routine morning bike ride, an F-150 — a truck weighing more than two tons — struck him from behind. The impact shattered his spine. Doctors gave him a 1–2% chance of ever walking again. In that instant, his future was rewritten. Not by the accident — but by the decision he made next. Dean didn't put his faith in percentages. He put it in belief — in himself & what persistence could unlock. Months of grueling rehab followed. Pain. Setbacks. Uncertainty. And then, miraculously, steps. One year later, Dean crossed a half-marathon finish line. Not alone, but alongside two unlikely partners: the surgeon who helped him walk again & the driver who hit him. Together, they raised nearly $100,000 for spinal cord injury patients — turning trauma into hope & recovery into something bigger than self. Dean could have stopped at survival. Instead, he chose impact. Connect with him at DeanOttoSpeaking.com Strength doesn't always look like winning. Sometimes, it looks like getting back up — and bringing others with you. As Albert Camus wrote, “In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”

Your son needs to take a walk. Walking has more psychological benefits to your son than you probably even realize. Researchers have found that the rhythmic left and right motion can actually help your boy's brain process thoughts and feelings. The physical movement can reduce his anxiety and depression, and also helps create new white blood cells in the brain which helps him think better. If your son thinks a walk sounds boring, here are some ideas: Get him a dog that needs to be taken on walks. Buy each other cheap fitness trackers, and compete for most steps taken in a day. Or, set up a reward system– maybe for every mile walked he gets a little bit of screen time. Whatever your strategy, his developing brain will benefit. We are well into the Christmas season. Maybe for you it's felt like pure joy, or maybe you've been thrown some curveballs. Walking through cancer to remission, Heidi Lee Anderson knows all about curve balls and what it looks like to walk into hard spaces with hope and also a good laugh. Even when the gifts we wish we could give back just keep giving. From what I understand, life threw you a curveball today, and you have a snow day there. What do snow days look like at the Anderson house? Is there a special snack y'all eat on snow days or this time of year? What were snow days like for you as a kid? Do you have any other funny motherhood curveball stories? One of the things we think a lot about at Christmas is the hope that comes because of Jesus' birth. How do you think that hope has allowed you to take a curveball that would crush some people and find humor and hope there? I wouldn't have thought of the book of Joshua in the Bible for one that has curveballs, but you did... how did that happen? What is something during Christmas you've been tempted to feel upset about, and God has given you joy there? In this episode of Youth Ministry Unscripted, Isaiah, Josh, and Danny dive deep into one of the most vulnerable areas of student discipleship: doubt. Drawing from Mark 9 and personal ministry experiences, the hosts explore how youth pastors can respond when students express questions or wrestle with deconstruction. They offer guidance on how to walk with students through doubt without minimizing it or turning it into a theological debate. The trio challenges youth leaders to create ministry cultures where curiosity and questions are welcomed, not shamed. Through biblical reflection, practical examples, and honest dialogue, they remind listeners that doubt is not the enemy of faith—disconnection is. The episode closes with encouragement for youth leaders to stay faithful, point students to Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit do the transforming work.Resources:Discover: Questioning Your Way to Faith by Mike McGarryGospel Hope for Doubting TeenagersFollow @therootedministry on Instagram for more updates!Follow and subscribe to Youth Ministry Unscripted wherever you listen to podcasts.Check out our Youth Ministry and Family Ministry Mentorship Program Follow @therootedministry on Instagram for more updates andSubscribe to Youth Ministry Unscripted wherever you listen to podcasts

Walking can become a cultural force for better health when the Black community is given tools that make prevention visible, shared, and rooted in daily life. Dr. Andrew Fix sits down with Kwame Terra, founder of bEHR Health, for a conversation that reframes health as something you can understand, track, and take ownership of in real time. Kwame shares why bEHR Health was built around a live health score, how health literacy shapes long-term outcomes, and why prevention has to feel relevant to everyday life rather than abstract medical advice. The discussion moves beyond individual behavior to examine how access, stress, and environment quietly shape health over decades, especially within the Black community. Walking becomes an unexpected centerpiece of the episode, both as a practical entry point to better health and as a catalyst for connection and culture change. Kwame reflects on setting a world record for steps in a month and what surprised him most about the physical and mental impact. How does something so simple shift behavior at scale? Why does community matter more than motivation alone? And what changes when health becomes something people do together rather than something they are told to manage alone? The conversation challenges the idea that health progress requires extreme solutions. Instead, it points to a more durable path forward, one where walking, shared accountability, and clearer health signals help people reconnect with their bodies, their communities, and a stronger sense of purpose. Quotes “60 % of black people have low health literacy. Most of us aren't aware of our current health status, or the short and long-term implications of our lifestyles, and the consequences that obviously come with that.” (08:27 | Kwame Terra) “The cool thing about the score is that as you change, so does your score.” (09:20 | Kwame Terra) “We don't want health to feel like this additional chore that people have to do to be healthy. Like how do we design their life to where it creates health?” (47:46 | Kwame Terra) “Public health is the art and science of prolonging life. That's the definition of public health.I've added a mental health component to my definition of public health, which is now the art and science of prolonging the desire to live.” (01:08:38 | Kwame Terra) “If you aren't all that you can be, You suffer more than you have to. And so does everyone else.” (01:13:14 | Kwame Terra) Links Connect with Kwame Terra: Visit bEHR Health Systems Instagram Follow Kwame on Instagram SideKick Tool Movemate: Award-Winning Active Standing Board 15% off Promo Code: DRA15 RAD Roller Revogreen HYDRAGUN Athletic Brewing 20% off: ANDREWF20 Connect with Physio Room: Visit the Physio Room Website Follow Physio Room on Instagram Follow Physio Room on Facebook Andrew's Personal Instagram Andrew's Personal Facebook Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

“We get to rely on God as our Source of stability. That stability doesn't come from having ‘all of our ducks in a row' per se, it's from trusting in THE Source of stability, God.” In this episode, Taylor Thurlow interviews Mr. and Mrs. Jared Torell (Nancy), two ministers with The Way International, and they talk about walking powerfully through change. Having recently gone through many changes, including marriage, graduating from The Way's minister training program, and successfully doing five moves in five years, Jared and Nancy share on some of their experiences with trusting God through transitions. This episode is chock-full of helpful tips, scripture verses, positive ways to think about change, and personal stories that can help us remember that no matter what is going on around us, God knows it all, and He is our Source of stability. Send us a textWhat if your bank balance and your bad week are equally poor guides to your standing with God? Walking line by line through Job 7:10–12, we face the starkness of death, the urgency of present mercy, and the surprising faith inside honest lament. Job insists he cannot keep silent and refuses the easy math that equates fortune with favor or loss with divine rejection. We explore how that stance dismantles prosperity assumptions and their mirror image—the lie that suffering means God is done with you.Together we read the text, then widen the lens with cross-references that illuminate anguish and hope: Jesus' grief in Gethsemane, Paul's learned contentment in plenty and want, and David's wise prayer to be kept from the distractions of both riches and poverty. Along the way, the panel shares practical wisdom for modern discipleship: how to voice pain without sin, how to resist bitterness and grumbling, and how to avoid interpreting God's heart through our feelings or circumstances. We also ask hard questions with Job—“Am I a sea or a sea monster, that you set a guard over me?”—and learn to take those questions to God rather than away from Him.If you've ever felt unseen in hardship or smug in success, this conversation invites a truer compass: God's character, resurrection hope, and Scripture's steady light. Listen for clear takeaways on lament, contentment, and community that heals rather than accuses. Walking in God's calling often comes with uncertainty and mistakes because we only understand God's will in part, so errors are not failures but part of growth. God knew from the foundation of the world that we would not walk out our calling perfectly, and He already accounted for our missteps, just as He planned redemption before humanity fell. Fear of making mistakes should not stop us from starting or continuing, because God's expectation is not perfection but a heart willing to follow, learn, and be corrected. Like children growing under a loving father, or an airplane constantly adjusting its course, our calling is fulfilled through ongoing correction and obedience, trusting that God will guide us to the destination as we remain faithful and responsive to Him. This week on Beekeeping Today Podcast, Jeff Ott and Becky Masterman welcome AJ and Chryssa Gardner of REBEL44 to discuss an approach to beekeeping rooted in stewardship rather than production. What began as a small garden project quickly evolved into a carefully managed sideline operation now spanning multiple apiaries and more than a hundred colonies. AJ shares how observing bee behavior—and listening closely to what the bees "tell you"—shaped his management philosophy. Rather than focusing on maximizing honey yields, AJ emphasizes nutrition, gentle genetics, low mite pressure, and allowing colonies to overwinter on their own terms. That mindset has led to remarkable overwintering success and strong, resilient colonies. Chryssa adds an important perspective on food systems, honey authenticity, and why knowing the beekeeper behind the honey matters. Together, they explain how REBEL44 produces hyper-local, varietal honeys, harvested in short nectar windows that capture the unique character of specific plants, locations, and seasons. From blackberry to Japanese knotweed, each harvest tells a story. The conversation also explores their immersive educational experiences, where families, beginners, and even corporate groups suit up, step into the apiary, and reconnect with nature. AJ describes how these hands-on visits often change how people think about bees, food, and stewardship. This episode is a reminder that when beekeepers slow down, observe, and put bees first, the rewards—healthy colonies, meaningful education, and exceptional honey—follow naturally. Hope for Right Now Podcast – Trust in the Impossible: An Advent Series, Elizabeth While Walking with Purpose founder Lisa takes time to write our next women's Bible study, Laura is keeping the Hope for Right Now podcast going strong with a four-week series: Trust in the Impossible: An Advent Series. Advent is meant to be a time of interior reflection—the weeks we prepare our hearts and homes to receive the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. But with the secular world's demands and distractions, keeping our eyes on what matters can be challenging, and the season of quiet we dream about feels impossible. What if this Advent, we said no to the overwhelm of the secular world and yes to the overshadowing of the Spirit? Each week, Laura introduces a Biblical figure from the gospel of Luke, whose story reveals the secret to a simple, peace-filled Advent—one where we yield to God's will, respond in faith, and trust in the impossible. Today's Biblical figure: Elizabeth. If you are in a season of painful waiting, allow Elizabeth to help you see your situation as an opportunity to grow in faith and glorify God. Open your Heart to our key Scripture. Luke 1:39–45 Open your Bible to other Scriptures referenced in this episode. John 9:2–3: And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be made manifest in Him.” John 11:32: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” John 11:35: Jesus wept. John 11:36–37 So the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?” John 11:40: Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Luke 1:15: And he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. Exodus 31:1–3: The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the Spirit of God.” Numbers 11:25: Then the Lord came down in a cloud and spoke to him, and took some of the spirit that was upon him and put it upon the seventy elders; and when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied. But they did so no more. 1 Samuel 10:10: When they came to Gib'e-ah, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them. Matthew 5:3–12: The Beatitudes Invite Him in with this episode's questions for reflection. Hide yourself in the quiet. Ask for the Holy Spirit to flood you and strengthen you in humility and faith. I'm bringing you along with me to Santa Fe for a quiet, layered look inside the home of designer Heather French—a place that feels deeply rooted in its landscape and gently expressive of the family who lives there. Walking through her territorial-style house, especially dressed for the holidays, felt like a reminder that good design isn't about spectacle, but about intention: rooms shaped by how they're truly used, materials that show age and wear with grace, and traditions that build warmth over time. From fruit-laden tables and needlepoint banquettes to a kitchen designed for lingering and a living room meant for both conversation and rest, Heather's home is a beautiful example of how style can be personal, soulful, and quietly enduring Want to finally define your style? When you arrive in Iceland in December, the first thing you notice is the quiet. Snow sits on the hills like a thick blanket, steam rises from hot springs, and the cold air feels crisp but clean. Towns look small against the vast landscape, and most homes glow with warm lights by mid-afternoon. The short daylight makes every window feel like a beacon, and families across the country lean into these warm touches to brighten the long season. Walking through Reykjavik or any of the small towns, you see people with bags of baked goods from local shops, children bundled in thick coats, and families gathering indoors before the evening chill settles in. Icelanders handle winter with simple routines that make the season feel friendly. Nothing here rushes. People enjoy the slow build toward Christmas, with lights, books, treats, and old traditions that help them get through the cold months. December in Iceland feels like an invitation to slow down and enjoy the season alongside everyone else...
