"Your Inspiring Garden" is a podcast where we ask twelve questions to our guest each week to encourage them to share their gardening experience, what they do with their gardening spaces and what their "Joy In Spades" is. This podcast is brought to you by the blog JoyInSpades.com
Today I am talking to Feather in Virginia about her gardening space. Her space is still new as she only started it in March this year, but she has done so much. She's taken a very interesting route in basing her garden space on the concept of a medicine wheel and she uses permaculture to grow her produce and flowers. We chat vertical gardening, composting by the beds and her dreams for the future - including a Koi pond. If you would like to be a guest on the podcast, no matter where you are in the world, then please have a look at this blog post here and then email heather@joyinspades.com You don't need to have a big gardening space or any gardening knowledge to take part - the podcast is about inspiring others to incorporate gardening into their life, even in a small way, so that they can find their "Joy In Spades" the happiness we all find in gardening. You can read more about the space and see photos of her garden at this blog post here. I hope to chat with you and share your story soon xx
We did it! We made it to the second episode of "Your Inspiring Garden" podcast - I'm so excited to welcome you. Each Thursday there will be a new episode with a new guest to talk about their inspiring garden. Today's episode is my lovely friend Nikki Kruse-Dye who is an MRI technologist and Trim Healthy Mama Lifestyle Coach in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I love that she is in a completely different country to me (I'm in Yorkshire, England) yet we can share a love of gardening. In this episode we talk about her problems with deer, the garden space she has just created and our shared love of growing plants from cuttings - even when it doesn't work out or end up being worthwhile!
