At the moment, Claire House isn’t reaching all the children it needs to across the North West, which is why they are building a second Hospice in Liverpool. The Mowgli Trust Dog Show will raise vital funds and awareness for Claire House but this is only possible with your support. The Dog Show will take place on the 23rd September at Claremont Farm on the Wirral. Nisha Katona from Mowgli, Andy Pimbley from Claremont Farm and Dan Halliday from Claire House joined Mick Coyle to talk about the event, alongside Johnny Bongo who will be the compère for the show. Mick is away this week but stepping in to the hotseat is new dad David Easson! He was joined by dad regular Iain Christie and Andy Pimbley from Claremont Farm to talk all things dadding and how they could help him with some top dad tips. Iain was recently back from his holidays and told all of his holiday tales/nightmares and the dads discussed how much money is spent on kids trying to replace items they lose.
Andy Pimbley from Claremont Farm in the Wirral gave his thoughts on skilled workers from the EU and how they benefit his business.
On this week's Dad's Hour, Mick was joined by Andy Pimbly from Claremont Farm and of course, resident Dad Iain Christie from the Royal Court theatre. On the agenda this week, we talked about how a recent survey has said that modern Dad's get up more times in the night to change nappies more than Mum's. We also spoke about 'modern day family values' and pet peeves such as sitting on your phone around the table. All of that, and of course we had to go back to the 'Dad Nod'. If you're out and about and you see a fellow Dad, give him the nod. We're all in this together.
