A rare double Guest Podcast We had always planned to showcase Mike Plume and his latest album Lonesome Stretch of Highway. Mike has two dates coming up  Monday/Tuesday, Sept 7&8 at The Ironwood in Calgary. We include four tracks from the album. His 10 years in Nashville show up in the songs. Solid work all around.   Then this week one of the greatest clutch pitchers to ever play baseball Tom Seaver died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. I had interviewed Tom by phone at his vineyard on top of  Diamond Mt. Calistoga at 7am Feb 18 2013. (He started his days early) I loved the conversation. A mix of baseball moments/memories and watching over his vineyards every day. It is time! We've talked about it long enough, so we're finally getting back to the original trilogy with Empire Strikes Back! *Disclaimer* Mike and I recorded this way back in early December, before we saw Rise of Skywalker, and before we recorded most of the more recent episodes. And because we're parodies of ourselves, we actually talk about several things that we talked about in later December and January episode, such as Skyline Chili. So weirdly, we're not repeating ourselves in this episode, we were actually repeating ourselves in the OTHER episodes. Okay, just wanted to let y'all know. Carry on. *End disclaimer* Man, it felt good to talk about a real genuine Star Wars movie again back when we recorded this! Before Rise of Skywalker dashed all our hopes and sent us into a long depression that we still haven't come out of.
