With the O'Connor Cup semi-final this Friday, we chat to coaches, players, and administrators from across the HEC.
In this episode: I look at the success of Irish Rugby at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco and also talk about the future of Joe Schmidt as Irish Rugby boss. I analyse my Premiership Predictions from the last weekend, I'm improving as a pundit! As well as a detailed look at the Munster and Connacht GAA Football Club Provincial deciders that saw Dr Crokes win an 8th O'Connor Cup and Corofin create history by winning their third in a row Andy Merrigan Cup and 9th in total. I also discuss Mick McCarthy's appointment for a 2 year term as manager of the Republic of Ireland Soccer team and I look at his backroom team and successor in waiting Stephen Kenny. To finish I include a little work related analysis of my job and how it can sometimes involve a lot of initial firefighting before you reach a stage where you have the structures in place that encourage good listening and that this always has the effect of producing the best outcomes when applied for the greater gain rather than individual short term gratification.
