This version of the song, composed by Joan Haines, was found on a cassette tape that was among the contents of a time capsule opened at the university on Nov. 13, 2008. The time capsule, which had been filled in 1983 to mark Southern's shift from college to university status and its memership in the newly formed Connecticut State University System, was opened as part of a ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of these events.
