Instagram: @social_stoic_dancer It is about my daily stories and how I use stoicism, practical psychology, social skills, and dancing to find my passion in life
Work on your instagram profile because it could be one of your best wingmen
Make friends with anyone you come in contact with. One of them could be the person that could change your life.
"I knew a man once who said, death smiles at us all. All that man can do is smile back."
Work on social circle even when you don’t see the results right away because the wait and the fruit of that labor is worth it.
I’m just giving an update of what has been happening in the last 4 months.
Girls don’t reject you, they reject your approach. Work on having a strong body language.
Sometimes you are going to be in awkward situations. Just make the most out of them and know that it ok to laugh about it.
Celebrate the small victories and even when is dark in your road to success have faith in you and endure.
Have an abundance mentality. If somebody rejects you, don’t wait for them to accept you just move one into the next person.
Take a moment to realize how far you have come or start documenting your journey towards success because it feels good to see your growth.
Everybody sucks at the beginning of the learning process and if you don’t have talent or knowledge, rely on persistence and hard work ethic.
Sometimes there is guys who are better than me and make me feel intimidated. Sometimes there is guys who steal the attention from me. I used to hate on them but now that I’m in higher level, I want to make them my friends.
Without even noticing the skills will come to you as long as you are consistent with your practice
Always follow up with the people that gives you their contact information. Don’t let more than 48 hours pass that way your impression is still fresh in their mind.
Every time you meet someone, always be the first who gives value. It will be extremely beneficial to you in the long term.
Iron sharpens iron and action creates emotion.
There has always been doubts when I decided to follow my passions that have been detrimental in my life but since that has happened to me a lot now I know how this story ends so I what I’m going to do is the right thing because I have done the wrong thing for so long.
You have better chances of succeeding in the game of life if you see everything that comes to you as a blessing and an opportunity.
Once in a while I get self conscious about me going out or executing towards my goal. That’s why is very important to practice self awareness and know your North Star.
If life offers you an insult but you don’t take it then you have never been insulted. Always give more value then what you want in return.
It is always good to visit levels that used to be hard for you so you can see how far you have come and what you still need to work on.
Finally, I made an Instagram page!!! Go head and follow me!! @social_stoic_dancer
It is ok to doubt on yourself for a moment as long as you have a clear vision of your North Star and are willing to never give up.
I didn’t perform as I expected in two of the events that I was excited about and really looking forward, but I gotta love the game
Some of the people that have influenced me are Ryan Holiday, Robert Greene, and The Greatest Of All Time: Gary Vaynerchuk
Put yourself in situations were you might fail or be embarrassed so you can practice at staying cool under pressure.
No matter what mistakes you did in the past, as long as you are willing to grow and be a better person, be proud and own them because thanks to them you are the person who you are right now.
It is ok to give up on some opportunities as long as that action takes closer to the big picture.
Don't be fixed on seeing just one path. Be willing to accept other ways as long as they go towards your North Star.
I went to 2 social dances in the same night for the first time. One went really good but the other one was ok. I got good insights from both though.
If someone is not bringing any value and is just taking away, you have to let them go.
It is hard to be your true self, specially, in social interactions but I know there is going to be a great prize once I completely master that task.
It is your responsibility to make the most out of every situation. Even when everything looks negative, you can make your mind perceive it as a positive.
Be picky with who you hang out but always keep adding to your social circle.
Persistence, endurance, and consistency are keys for success on anything.
Since my night was not as productive, I decided to share a little bit about my life.
I'm still having problems with maintaining the same confident state of mind throughout the night but now I know what to focus on.
Be grateful for what you have! If you only get one thing from my podcast let it be that SOCIAL CIRCLE is the greatest skill that you should learn.
Embrace your weird and nerdy side that way you don't lose energy trying to covering it.
I'm planning to read, listen, and watch material related with social skills and stoicism so I can share my perspective and how I apply it on that night.
The advantages of executing the right action even when you don't feel like it
The struggle of being in my head and what I do to do the right action.
