Stuart Cochrane was a pioneer in the Scottish club and dance scene throughout the 80s and 90s, running clubs across Scotland while DJ'ing at home and abroad, in Ibiza. Scooby also had huge involvement in the creation of Cafe Mambo, one of Ibiza's biggest venues today. But Stuart estimates that his spending on drugs amounted to £100,000, as his cannabis fuelled lifestyle brought his hardest times in mental struggles while battling the mighty Warner Brothers for the rights to his own music. But Stuart has lived to tell the tale in his new book 'Scooby: the glory of the ride' and BBC documentary 'Scoobs: the rave years'.
