Christian friends, we must remember that political movements are not the main thing. The Jews of Jesus' time refused to believe he was the Messiah in part because they expected the Messiah to be a political hero that would rescue them from Roman occupation. But Jesus was never here for those man-made systems, or to use a phrase from a recent episode, those man-made kingdoms. Jesus was focused on bringing people into his kingdom, and so should we. We are looking at this episode of Fringe from a forced perspective, but it's kind of nice that it's just the two of us for once! Even though this episode is mostly a standalone episode, it's still a really beautiful episode with a great wraparound. In this episode, Rodrigo Gordillo, President of ReSolve Asset Management Global, and Mike Philbrick, CEO of ReSolve Asset Management Global unpack Ric Edelman's bold argument for allocating 10–40% of a portfolio to Bitcoin. If you're rethinking diversification in a changing economic landscape, this conversation delivers the key insights.Topics Discussed• Differentiating Bitcoin and gold as scarce, non-cash flow assets that offer distinct diversification benefits• The role of regulatory clarity and its accelerating impact on institutional and advisor adoption of Bitcoin• Return stacking techniques that allow alternative assets like Bitcoin and gold to be layered on top of traditional cash-flow portfolios• Key insights from the Ric Edelman paper regarding Bitcoin's portfolio allocation and the existence of a measurable risk premium• Portfolio construction strategies, including equal risk contribution approaches between Bitcoin and gold• Analyzing the impact of Bitcoin's volatility on overall portfolio risk metrics and diversification outcomes• Innovations in digital asset accessibility through ETFs, buffered ETFs, and curated crypto index solutions• The evolving investment narrative for Bitcoin as a global asset amidst shifting economic and fiscal paradigms
RHLSTP #572 - Fecalophilia - The Edinburgh Fringe is back upon us and somehow Richard is going back, slightly unwillingly, but his family comes first and his wife is doing a show too! Yes it's the award winning author and comedian Catie Wilkins, who Rich likes so much he married her. In this podcast recorded in Htichin before the Fringe began, the pair discuss mathematics based sexual kinks, how Rachel Riley would have reacted to Richard doing her make-up, the state of Richard's feet (with video evidence for badgers) why Catie's show is called “We'll See” and what horrible lies she tells about Richard in it, why she hasn't done a show telling her side of Richard's cancer experience (yet), when the right time for her to murder Richard will be and how she might do it, Richard's plan to make sure no one has sex with Catie once he's gone, how they divide up the funny material that their kids come up with, stuff to upset the inhabitants of Middlesbro and Ireland (but there's nothing that they can do because we're allowed) and Catie's charming unawareness of one of the major news stories of 2025.Please come and see both our shows to help offset our terrible accommodation based debtsTickets for Catie's show We'll See are here https://www.thestand.co.uk/fringe/2430/catie-wilkins-well-seeTickets for RHLSTP are here https://www.thestand.co.uk/fringe/2441/richard-herring-rhlstpSUPPORT THE SHOW!Watch our TWITCH CHANNELBecome a badger and see extra content at our WEBSITE See details of the RHLSTP LIVE DATES Buy DVDs and books from GO FASTER STRIPE Hosted on Acast.
