Wherein Deadhead girl and professional musician (and slide guitarist for our podcast theme music) Sally Van Meter tells the story of playing with Jerry Garcia shortly before he died. Grammy Award-winning slide guitarist Van Meter recorded "Blue Yodel #9 (Standing on the Corner)" with Jerry (in David Grisman's home studio) for the album The Songs of Jimmy Rodgers.
