Embracing Wisdom is about forging an intimate personal relationship with The Wisdom of the Universe. Encouraging focus on of our Belief System and the role Traditional and Cultural Beliefs play in influencing our thoughts and actions. This podcast with a nonjudgmental approach aims to provoke our thought processes and urges us to really look at our instinctive individual inclinations and choices. I will share original excerpts, essays inspiration and random thoughts meant to assist us in accepting who we are without judgement. All subjects that impact our lives is fair game for in-depth inspection as to their value in our lives while creating a space where we can identify and examine our personal belief system.

If we all had to construct a belief system from scratch based on direct experience, we would not get very far.
Let us unite the passion of our personal and collective abuses to fuel and motivate our actions. Perception and perspective are crucial.
Are we ready to lift our heads from whatever has our attention, and focus on where we are being led by those intent on keeping us shackled?
People of African descent have been through a lot. Let us show more compassion to each other as we struggle to overcome the pain of our history. Our emotions are raw we need each other.
Looking at our experiences....... deciding to make the most of who we are at our highest expression.

Being our authentic selves should be natural and seamless, but it is not. We are molded and indoctrinated from the cradle. Even with the best intentions those who made impressions on our formative years were too battling ghosts of their own and out of alignment with their true nature. Love, understanding and forgiveness will be needed in huge amounts as we commence on a journey of enlightenment and healing.
This is the continuation of the first podcast Childhood Stories. I am a newbie to podcasting and I stopped the recording thinking I’d be able to join the two segments haven’t figured it out as yet so here I am. Guess I will reap the benefit of how it is done another time.
