(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Ugandan Muslims killed Christian evangelist Muslim extremists killed a Christian evangelist in Uganda earlier this month. Konkona Kasimu was a convert from Islam. He participated in multiple Christian-Muslim dialogues across Uganda. Several Muslims turned to Christ during one of these events on December 12. However, angry Muslims ambushed Kasimu that evening. He later died from the injuries he sustained during the attack. A local pastor told Morning Star News, “Kasimu was killed because of advancing the Kingdom of God. We have lost a great man who was well-versed in both the Quran and the Bible and used that knowledge to witness for Christ to many people.” Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame [the Devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Evangelicalism on rise in Catholic Spain Evangelicalism continues to grow in the historically Catholic country of Spain. Evangelical Focus reports that Christianity is the most deeply rooted among minority religions in the country. There are 4,700 evangelical places of worship in Spain this year. That's up from 3,700 places of worship ten years ago. At the same time, secularization is advancing. Over 40% of the population say they do not identify with any religion.  400 sex-selective abortions in United Kingdom Life News reports that new data from the United Kingdom government suggests at least 400 sex-selective abortions have taken place in the country.  The government says killing unborn babies on the basis of their sex is illegal. However, the U.K.'s largest abortion provider is telling women that sex-selective abortion is not illegal.  Catherine Robinson with Right to Life UK noted, “This report is very likely to underestimate the number of sex-selective abortions in the UK. The true scale of sex-selective abortions in the UK, is in all likelihood, far higher than the figures suggest.” America blew up Venezuelan port loading boat with narcotics U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Monday that the U.S. carried out a strike on a port facility in Venezuela. He said the facility was being used to load boats with narcotics. If confirmed, this would be the first land-based attack by the U.S. in Venezuela.  CNN and the New York Times report that the CIA carried out the attack with a drone strike. Rising church attendance among Millennials and Gen Z Evangelist Franklin Graham  spoke to Fox News about rising church attendance among younger generations. Data shows that Millennials and Gen Z lead monthly church attendance compared to other generations. Listen to comments from Graham. GRAHAM: “I think Gen Z and Millennials have been fed the lie of socialism. And socialism is basically anti-God. They've been turned off, I think, by this, and they're asking themselves, ‘There's got to be something more.' Yes, they're going to church, but Bible sales are up. So, they're buying Bibles. They're reading for themselves.” Kentucky restored Ten Commandments monument at Capitol Kentucky restored a permanent monument of the Ten Commandments to the state Capitol grounds earlier this month. The monument was put up in 1971. It was moved for construction in the 1980s. The legislature passed a resolution to restore it in 2000. However, a federal appeals court order kept the monument from being displayed until recently. First Liberty was involved in the legal case to restore the monument. Roger Byron, Senior Counsel for First Liberty, said, “We congratulate the people of Kentucky for restoring a part of their history. There is a long tradition of public monuments, like this one, that recognize the unique and important role the Ten Commandments have played in state and national history.” Lutheran Bible Translators delivered new Bible to Ghana tribe And finally, the Komba people of Ghana received their complete Bible last month after years of translation work. Missionary work among the Komba began in the 1950s. In 2005, Lutheran Bible Translators began to translate the New Testament which was completed in 2014. The Old Testament translation began in 2015. Now, they have the entire Bible. One of the translators said, “Reading the Bible has become part of my people. They are reading it day in and day out, and they have taken it upon themselves to do so. This week we talked about Lady Death and this for us was more along the lines of a “How did this get made?”. A majority of the time we are trying to figure out what it was we actually watched. Jack brings a dramatic and jokingly unhinged “horn daddy” recap to start things off and Rick follows up with a “biggest daddy issues movie” energy, and we both get into how the pacing feels slow, the story feels thin, and the rules of the world make no sense even when you try to be generous with what you are given. There were a lot of plot gaps and time skips not to mention the poor power scaling that we were subjected too. And to top it all off the dialog and character designs were basically primarily fanservice with a metal-album aesthetic. We also touch on ADV being the studio for this and they have a track record for some shotty productions already so it was not out of the realm of possibility to be like this. If you want messy and inconsistent rules and poor power structure and a feeling like the lurches from Earth to hell to rebellion to final showdown with no repercussions or payoff then this is for you if you are looking for something that is even half way decent then this is not for you.About the anime:Lady Death takes us through the story of Hope, a young woman living in 15th-century Sweden whose life gets flipped turned upside down when her daddy was up to no good and started making trouble in her neighborhood and that is when it all falls apart when said daddy aka Matthias, who is a feared mercenary with a very hidden devilish horny side, draws the attention of the Church and the villagers much like Frankenstein did. Hope who stands accused of consorting, among other things, with the Devil gets condemned to burn, Hope then is dragged into a literal deal in Hell and gets “reborn” as Lady Death, a warrior with the desire to kill her horn daddy and lord of lies lucifer. Most of the movie relies on that transformation where we see her struggle with what she's lost, then train under the hulking hell-blacksmith Cremator, and move through a demon-ruled landscape as she gathers allies like her demonic horny steed Vassago and the Nameless Wolves. If you live in a place like Florida for example, this word probably doesn't mean much to you - winter, cold, or furnace. See, during the summer you don't give your furnace a thought, but in the winter up north it makes life bearable. That's why when we lived in New Jersey I was not a very happy camper when I woke up and felt a very cold nose coming out of the covers. (No, I didn't sleep with a dog...it was my nose!) And I felt a cold floor under my feet where there was no carpet. And then I would peek out the window and see a very low temperature out there. Now, my first stop was the furnace downstairs. If it wasn't working I knew what to do. I called our family doctor. You say, "What? You don't call..." No, that's right, I didn't call the doctor. I called our neighbors and told them the furnace wasn't working. You say, "Wait a minute, what good does that do?" No, I called the newspaper delivery boy and said, "My furnace isn't working!" I called the post office and said, "Hey, can you fix my furnace?" You say, "Ron, none of those calls will help. Call the furnace man!" I did. I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "Tell the Person Who Can Fix It." Our word for today from the Word of God comes from Matthew 5. We begin at verse 23. Jesus said, "If you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember your brother has something against you, leave your gift..." He says forget the religious stuff. Don't do your spiritual thing. No, "leave your gift in front of the altar. First (in other words, before you do your thing with God), go and be reconciled to your brother, then come and offer your gift." There's a parallel passage in Matthew 18:15 - "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over." It talks about involving other people from the church if that doesn't work. But the pattern is the same in both cases - go straight to the person. Now, we're not talking about a furnace here, but we're talking about a relationship that's not working. And Jesus addresses one of these dark corners of human nature. We've got this tendency to talk to everyone about the problem we have with this person except the person we have the problem with. And that sin divides families, it divides friends, it divides churches, it divides ministries, and maybe you are in the middle of one of those poisonous situations right now. Jesus says there's only one way to go when you have a problem with another person - straight to that person. We'd rather gripe to other people, we'd rather gather support for our side, get sympathy, form some power block of people who agree with us, and give the Devil an open door he can drive a truck through. The irony is that none of those other people can fix what's wrong. The problem you've got is with this person. Now, we know it would be dumb to tell the letter carrier about our cold furnace, or the garbage man. Wouldn't that make you ask, "Hey, do you just want to gripe or do you want a solution?" Then why do we go to all the wrong people when there's a break in a relationship or some hurt? Going to the person involved is the only way it can really be fixed. You can be a relationship radical if you'll covenant to go direct in a world that would rather gossip and backstab. You can be an agent of real love and real peace if you always stay away from the back room, the back-biting, and you speak directly to that other person. That other person? They may respond or they may not respond, but you have done the only thing Jesus can bless, and you can sleep well tonight. So, whether it's a furnace, a family member or a friend, tell the person who can fix it.
