Maybe the solution to abundant, clean energy isn't the one that could cause the annihilation of our planet? Sean J Patrick Carney of the Time Zero Podcast regales Jake, Brad, and Travis about the nuclear weird. We trace the radioactive thread connecting UFO sightings at missile silos, the ICE shooter's fallout map, and Big Tech's new romance with the atom. Sean dismantles central myths of the nuclear renaissance, walks us through the Devil's Scenario, and explains why Lue Elizondo owns a restaurant called Bombshells. Eventually we end up at Uranium glass parties to own the libs. It's another upbeat and definitely not bleak episode of your favorite podcast. ALBUM PINS ARE CHANGING THE WAY WE HEAR CELTIC MUSIC I got an email from Discmakers, my CD manufacturer, saying they were forced to raise their prices because of tariffs by our president. This is a tax on Americans. So if you love CDs, remember that the prices will go up. So please support those higher priced CDs. But there is an option for those who don't want to buy CDs and for those who want a better alternative for the environment. It's the Album Pin. Album Pins are lapel pins themed to a particular album. You get a digital download of the album. Then you can wear your album. All of my latest Album Pins are wood - burned and locally produced. This makes them better for the environment. I've been exploring my Irish and Scottish Heritage and have enjoyed supporting you here on Patreon and listening to the podcast. I was curious if you knew of any artists or albums that feature keening songs. I know keening is associated with grieving so I can imagine that there is a sacredness to it and it may not be considered to be respectful to record. I would love any insight you have. Also, I saw your Celtfather post about standing up for the things we love and care about. Thank you for modeling courage and using your voice and platform to speak out against the atrocities occurring because of our current administration. I also hope that you recognize the resistance of making music and elevating the voices of other artists; that in and of itself is admirable! Onward!"

In this edition of Lady Whistleblown's Brethren Dispatch, a most curious spectacle is placed under the lens of polite society. What began as a modest weekly chronicle of whispers has quickly grown into something rather more substantial. As reports accumulate regarding the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church and its charitable arm, the Rapid Relief Team, Lady Whistleblown observes the increasingly elaborate efforts to manage reputation, narrative, and public perception. From legal manoeuvres and carefully orchestrated diversions to a globe-spanning podcast production discussing the virtues of Maple Creek, the story begins to resemble a theatrical performance of remarkable scale. One might almost admire the choreography.Yet when the spectacle becomes quite so elaborate, even the most seasoned observers of society cannot help but raise an eyebrow.Indeed… one might say that even the Devil appears to be taking notes.#plymouthbrethrenchristianchurch #pbcc #exclusivebrethren #maplecreek #cultawareness #cult #brucedhales

Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell sit down with Pulitzer Prize winning Journalist and Bone Valley podcast creator Gilbert King for a conversation that connects wrongful conviction, racial injustice, and the raw power of storytelling across decades of American history. King shares how his research into Thurgood Marshall's landmark civil rights battles in the Jim Crow South led him to Leo Schofield — a Florida man who spent 36 years in prison for a murder he didn't commit while the real killer, Jeremy Scott, walked free and killed again. He also recounts the jaw-dropping moment he sat with Leo when Jeremy called unexpectedly — and Leo forgave him. We're also unpacking why prosecutors double down instead of admitting error, how the judicial system's resistance to finality crushes innocent people, and why one storyteller's decision to shine a light can change everything. ☕ Cups Up! ⚖️ Episode References Get to know Pulitzer Prize winner Gilbert King — follow him on Facebook and Instagram Listen to Gilbert's podcast Bone Valley - Leo Schofield's storyCan't get enough of Bone Valley? Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike continues the new series on spiritual warfare by looking at the reality of evil and personal forces of darkness in our world. Drawing from Genesis 3, 1 Corinthians 10, and 1 Peter 5:8—where we are warned that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion—Mike explores what Scripture teaches about Satan and his activity. We also consider passages in John where Jesus refers to the devil as the “ruler of this world.” Join us as we take a sober look at the reality of spiritual opposition while remembering that Christ's authority and victory are far greater than any power of darkness.

There are three core lies we all believe: “I'm worthless, I'm unlovable, and I'm helpless.” These beliefs can grow into strongholds that influence our thoughts and actions over time. Jennie Allen joins the Perrys to talk about how the enemy often makes lies like these feel rational and normal, and then we agree with the lies without realizing it. We need God's Word and the truth of the Gospel to help us fight them. Jennie's encouragement is that you are not especially broken because you believe lies. She says, “The reason the enemy comes for you is because you're loved. Because you love God and He loves you, that makes you a target. Don't let shame enter your story more than it already has.” Check out Jennie's new book, “The Lie You Don't Know You Need” https://www.amazon.com/Lie-You-Dont-Know-Believe/dp/1400249821 Follow @JennieAllen: https://www.instagram.com/jennieallen/ Scripture references: 1 John 1:5-7 Matthew 4:4-6 John 14:30 John 16:33 Ephesians 6:10-13 This Episode is Sponsored By: https://fieldofgreens.com — Get 20% off with promo code PERRY https://timtebow.com/tree-perry/ — Get your copy of If the Tree Could Speak by Tim Tebow on Amazon today! - Learn more about your ad choices. Leverage Your Incredible Factor Business Podcast with Darnyelle Jervey Harmon, MBA
“The tension you feel is not failure. It's expansion asking to be integrated.” — Dr. Darnyelle Jervey Harmon This episode is powered by The Ascension Archetype Quiz. If you've ever reached a new level in your business and quietly questioned why this doesn't feel the way you thought it would?, this episode will give you the language for what is actually happening. Entrepreneurs joke about the phrase “new level, new devil,” but very few people explain why growth can suddenly feel harder just when things start working. If you have ever crossed a revenue threshold, made a major move in your business, or stepped into a new level of visibility and felt more on edge instead of more at ease, this episode is the answer you didn't know you were looking for. In this conversation, Dr. Darnyelle breaks down the internal dynamics of expansion, why leadership responsibility changes your nervous system response to success, and how scaling your business often reveals a capacity gap rather than a strategy problem. If you're building toward seven figures and wondering why each level seems to bring a new set of internal challenges, this episode will help you understand exactly what your body and leadership identity are navigating. Here's the truth: The resistance that shows up at the next level is rarely a strategy problem. It is a capacity problem. As visibility increases, responsibility grows, and consequences carry more weight, your nervous system begins scanning for safety. That tension is not a sign that you're failing. It's a sign that your leadership capacity is being stretched. You'll walk away with language for the tension you couldn't name, as well as a new framework for interpreting the resistance that shows up during growth. Instead of assuming you need another strategy, you'll begin to recognize the role your internal capacity plays in decision-making, leadership presence, and sustainable scaling. This episode will help you understand why growth sometimes feels destabilizing and what it actually means for your next level. Grab your Move to Millions Podcast Notebook, a pen and your favorite beverage and listen in to discover: ✔ How to recognize when “new level, new devil” is actually a capacity gap ✔ How to interpret nervous system resistance that appears during business growth ✔ How to approach expansion without abandoning yourself in the process ✔And so much more This episode is a call to stop assuming that resistance at a new level means you are doing something wrong. Many entrepreneurs interpret the tension that appears during growth as fear, imposter syndrome, burnout, or lack of motivation. But in reality, those experiences are often signals that your internal capacity is being stretched by the level you have stepped into. Instead of pushing harder or abandoning what's working, this episode reframes expansion as a process that requires integration. This is your invitation to lean into the moments in your business where things begin to feel heavier or more consequential. If decisions suddenly feel more permanent, if responsibility feels larger than expected, or if you find yourself questioning whether you are built for the next level, this conversation will help you see those experiences through a completely different lens. It requires more capacity.” “Your nervous system's job is not to make you successful. Its job is to keep you safe. And when the stakes increase, it scans not for opportunity but for danger” “The tension you feel is not a problem. It's information.” “95% of your success is internal and only 5% is external. That means most of your success is not actually strategic — it's somatic” “The devil isn't resistance. It's untrained capacity asking to be integrated.” Questions to Ask Yourself While Listening: What level of responsibility has my business grown into that my body has not yet practiced holding? Where in my leadership am I interpreting tension as failure instead of expansion? What decisions feel heavier now than they did at my previous level? How does my nervous system respond when the stakes increase? What internal capacity might this next level require from me? Want more of Darnyelle? She unpacks how fat phobia, the male gaze, and chronic shallow breathing keep the nervous system in fight‑or‑flight, blocking sustainable change. Drawing on somatic research and her own history of dissociation as protection, Lisa shows why healing begins with coming back inside through breath and interoceptive awareness. The episode closes with a grounding practice to shift from “How do I look” to “How do I feel,” the first step toward embodied change. Topics Include:Nervous System SafetyBreathwork for SafetyInternalized Outsider GazeComing Home to the Body[0:20] Lisa begins the episode by announcing that registration for the next OOTC Retreat at the Omega Institute scheduled for July 12–17, 2026 is open. Lisa apologizes for the potentially lower sound quality as she is traveling and recording without her microphone. She frames this as a deliberate choice to prioritize "messy action" and consistency over perfection. [4:50] Revisiting the “Devil's Snare” metaphor, Lisa emphasizes that healing isn't about pushing harder—it's about learning how to breathe and soften back into the body. She introduces a quote taught by Caroline Lee Dewey: "We don't learn how to push. We learn how to breathe." Highlighting that healing and coming back into one's body is about breathing and release, not pushing and control.[8:08] Lisa examines how internalized fear of fatness often shows up as shallow breathing, especially discomfort with the belly expanding during a deep, diaphragmatic inhale. She explains that feeling safe in one's body is presented as a necessary prerequisite for intentional and sustainable weight loss. If a person's breathing pattern is constantly signaling danger, it undermines the foundation required for healthy, lasting change.[18:42] Citing somatic therapist Ailey Jolie from Instagram, Lisa explains the internalized male gaze and that internalized objectification lives in the nervous system, manifesting in micro-adjustments the body makes before conscious awareness. Referencing Iris Marion Young's essay "Throwing Like a Girl," Lisa describes how women learn to move with "inhibited intentionality," taking up less space and moving tentatively, as if always being watched. Lisa also discusses research by Barbara Fredrickson and Tommy-Ann Roberts on "self-objectification," where girls adopt an observer's perspective on their bodies, measurably impairing the ability to feel internal bodily states like hunger or heartbeat.[45:24] Lisa shares her disconnection to the trauma of her younger sister's death when she was five and how she coped with using food. She explains that denial, disconnection, and dissociation became her primary defense mechanisms and sent her the message that the world was safe despite her weight. [1:09:09] Lisa wraps this episode up by inviting listeners to practice re‑centering through two anchors: deep breathing and replacing “How do I look?” with “How do I feel?” She emphasizes that mindful breathing is a skill that must be practiced to come back inside the body and become aware of what is happening within oneself.*The views of podcast guests do not necessarily reflect the views and beliefs of Lisa Schlosberg or Out of the Cave, LLC.Embody Peace With Food: A Revolutionary Holistic Approach - Omega Institute: July 12-17, 2026LISA IS NOW ACCEPTING: One-on-One Clients!Purchase the OOTC book of 50 Journal PromptsLeave Questions and Feedback for Lisa via OOTC Pod Feedback Form Email Lisa: lisa@lisaschlosberg.comOut of the Cave Merch - For 10% off use code SCHLOS10Lisa's Socials: Instagram Facebook YouTube

The divine plan must have looked totally random to Simon of Cyrene! Everything about that last day of Jesus' life was "by the Book" - I mean, according to what was written in the Scriptures. And people created in the image of God were making free choices. Somehow these cosmic forces intersected on a busy street right in front of a dark-skinned foreigner named Simon. He was chosen to ease the burden of a condemned man. We love to say we live in Philly, but when someone asks what neighborhood we live in, what do we say? In this city, neighborhood names are always changing. And saying you live in “West Philly” doesn't always tell people exactly where you live. So today, we're revisiting a classic Philly debate: what do we actually call our neighborhoods? And we're putting City Cast Philly's Trenae Nuri, Siani Colon, Abby Fritz, and Matt Katz to the test to see if they know the sometimes weird names for Philly's neighborhoods. Plus, City Cast Philly contributor Johnny Goodtimes is quizzing us on how well we all know Philly. Our newsletter has Philly news & events in your inbox every weekday morning. Why do the harshest thoughts about ourselves show up when we're already tired or overwhelmed? The ones that replay our mistakes and tell us the worst is coming. This message looks at how Jesus shows us to respond when our minds start spiraling.

In this episode, Geoff and Katrina talk about Northern European folk and the tales they tell. Last year, Geoff reached out to Free League Publishing to ask them about their role playing game, Vaesen and was gifted some books to explore. While he and Katrina try to figure out the best use of RPGs for them and the podcast, Katrina has dived into the folklore that inspired the game. She starts with a fan favorite, The Devil, and a folk song with a deadly fiddler. Geoff retells a tale of a boy and his beer (with a splash of Death). Then Katrina tells us a Norwegian tale about a blustering pastor. Books Used in this Episode: Vaesen by Johan Egerkrans Norwegian Folktales by Peter Christen Ashjornsen and Jorgen Moe

Today's Promise: James 4:7 Temptation is not random. Every day, Satan brings carefully crafted attacks designed to distract, discourage, and ultimately destroy your faith. But today's promise reminds you that Satan does not have the final say in your life. In this episode, we explore the promise that if we submit to God, we can have victory over the Devil. You'll discover the three simple but life-changing steps God gives for victory over spiritual attack. First, you'll learn what it truly means to submit to God and why surrender is the starting point of spiritual authority. Then, we talk about how to resist the devil like a soldier standing firm on the battlefield. Finally, you'll see the incredible promise that when you stand with God, Satan must flee. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by temptation or spiritual warfare, this episode will encourage you to stand your ground. Victory isn't uncertain—it's promised when you submit to God and resist the enemy.
Our "rogues' gallery" is about to get some rouge! In this week's conversation between Dr. James Emery White and co-host Alexis Drye, they discuss a topic that is drifting away from its biblical moorings and increasingly misunderstood in culture: exorcism. Even individuals who would not consider themselves Christians are familiar with the Lord's Prayer, which includes the line, “deliver us from evil.” But what does that mean, and why the sudden cultural interest in exorcism? Episode Links Dr. White mentioned a book that he wrote called The Prayer God Longs For. It walks through the Lord's Prayer, including a chapter that focuses on the deliverance from evil or the "evil one" (Satan). You can find it as an ebook on Church & Culture HERE. He also mentioned the work of C.S. Lewis called The Screwtape Letters - a fascinating book about the nature of temptation and demonic work in our lives. You can find that book at The Grounds Bookstore and Café HERE. Another resource that Dr. White mentioned, which you can also find in The Grounds, is Lee Strobel's Seeing the Supernatural. You can find that book HERE. The discussion continued with a look at who Satan is, and an overview of the world of the occult. There are so many ways that the occult invades culture today, and most people are not even aware of it. There was a series that Dr. White delivered at Mecklenburg Community Church a number of years ago on the subject called “Paranormal.” The installments of this series include the map of the spiritual world, the marks of the occult, and the armor of God. There are also some past podcast episodes that you may want to go back and listen to related to today's conversation including: CCP151: On Spirits and Ghosts, CCP77: On Angels, CCP66: On Satanism, and CCP58: On Your Horoscope and Starbucks. Finally, there are two articles that were mentioned in today's episode that you may be interested in reading. The first is written by Kaya Burgess in The Telegraph titled “Demand for exorcisms rises as faithful want ‘deliverance from evil.'” The second article was just released this week in the London Times, written by Tom Kington, and titled “Devil worshippers are using AI, exorcists are warned” discussing fears that pedophiles are using AI to create images of children participating in satanic rites. For those of you who are new to Church & Culture, we'd love to invite you to subscribe (for free of course) to the twice-weekly Church & Culture blog and check out the Daily Headline News - a collection of headlines from around the globe each weekday. We'd also love to hear from you if there is a topic that you'd like to see discussed on the Church & Culture Podcast in an upcoming episode. In 1998, Deputy Jon Aujay went for a run in the California desert and never returned. After a weeklong search, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department determined he went to the Devil's Punchbowl to commit suicide - a conclusion that did not sit right with some of his fellow deputies. Given the area's reputation for meth labs, colleagues suspected Aujay stumbled across something he wasn't supposed to see. They point to dealers who've claimed to kill a cop in the desert. And the accusations against one of Aujay's fellow deputies who was investigated for his ties to a violent meth dealer. The podcast “Valley of Shadows” digs into the disappearance of Jon Aujay and whether it's tied to the ruthless drug trade run out of the Southern California desert. Hosts Hayley Fox and Betsy Shepherd take listeners on a journey that includes cover-ups, dirty cops, Bigfoot, and a meth dealer who looks like Santa Claus. Vivian Wilson became the talk of Milan Fashion Week when she seductively walked the runway of Demna's debut Gucci show in a floor-length white gown. The 21-year-old model said she was briefed by casting to embody Venus, the Roman goddess of love. Her path to the Gucci runway began with a casting tape filmed in her own driveway. She walked "like a crazy person, like 8 million times" until she had the perfect take. The result? She ended up positioned in the lineup between icons Kate Moss and Mariacarla Boscono. "When I found that out, I was shaking in my boots," she told Chloe Malle, cozy in a Paris hotel room, while recording today's episode of The Run Through. "We did it, though."Before all the fashion week glamour in Paris and Milan, there was a very different life. Wilson spent time studying Japanese at a university in Tokyo, with plans to earn her TEFL certificate and become an ESL teacher. A Teen Vogue cover changed everything. "It completely transformed my career," she said. Now she's in Paris, doing the model thing — castings every hour, NDAs on NDAs — and entirely at peace with the pivot. "I wanna see how big I can get,” she said. “We're just locking the fuck in."The conversation took a more serious turn when Malle raised the question of whether models look markedly thinner this season than even five years ago. Wilson didn't hesitate. "It's the Ozempic apocalypse, girl. I am so fucking over this." Off the catwalk, she reads gay fantasy fiction and has a passion for Excel spreadsheets. She is trans, a John Oliver devotee, and has genuine ambitions in voice acting. Her three wishes are to appear in Vogue, attend the Met Gala, and walk for Schiaparelli. She left the hotel room with a piece of the chocolate Eiffel Tower, having resolved to break off a piece from the middle so as "not to compromise its structural integrity."Also in the episode, Vogue editors share thoughts from the Balmain, Dries Van Noten and Saint Laurent shows at Paris Fashion Week. The Run-Through with Vogue is your go-to podcast where fashion meets culture.
