In this episode, I give you an introduction to FPW and tell you a little bit about why this podcast now. This is preparation for the upcoming episodes where we will delve into the things that women need to know about entering into the Kingdom of Politics! It is still a Kingdom, yes. But we are going to improve on that!

Hello! I'm Shirley Osborne. I love Politics. I especially love politics when there are women in the mix. Trouble is, there are not enough women in the mix anywhere in the world, so, I figured I could contribute some little thing to improve that. I decided to bring together the lessons I learned growing up in a political family and after getting into active politics myself and create a platform to encourage, support, teach and coach other women into the political realm, from anywhere in the world – because politics, I have learnt from experience, is the same no matter where in the world we happen to be. I write books, articles, blogs and I do podcasts and I make videos that teach. Organisations and parliaments invite me to train their members and I host trainings myself. So, I have started this podcast, FPW – THE podcast for political women, and I'm inviting you to come over and join me. FPW is on every week, on Anchor and all your favourite podcast platforms.
