Like many businesses, porn production comes with more than its fair share of challenges. Improvements in technology mean that more and more performers are picking up cameras and producing their own content. With this in mind, while I was at the Phoenix Forum, I interviewed one of the most prolific performer producers I know, Lance Hart. There is no denying that it’s been a difficult time. But many people are using it as an opportunity to change things for the better. I’ve been having some thought-provoking behind-the-scenes conversations with colleagues from different areas of the industry, and in the interest of facilitating and promoting dialogue, I want to share some of those conversations with you in my new podcast, Hot Points. The first person I had the pleasure of interviewing was Leya Tanit, a British performer who last year started Pineapple Support. Pineapple Support is a nonprofit that brings mental healthcare and emotional support to the adult industry. Recently I was able to interview her at the industry trade event the Phoenix Forum.
