Hopefully the audio is improved this time around. I learned a bunch of new processing methods - using an audio gate, compressor, limiter, noise reduction, de-clicking - and hey Audition’s got a ripple delete that makes editing a lot easier (too bad I didn’t find out until I was 3/4s the way through the edit). My audio is recorded on a Shure SM58 using a Zoom H6 as an audio interface.Austin is using his headphone microphone, which I record using Audio Hijack.Episode Links:Ebirah, Horror Of The DeepFinal Fantasy VIII OST
We talk about The Game of Thrones Finale. What we liked about it? What we didn't like about it? There are definite spoilers as we give a run down of the entire episode! This is our first podcast, so bare with any audio issues and we will improve in future episodes! You can find me on twitter @petarnguyenand you can find my co-host Austin K’s film reviews on letterboxd.Intro Song by Rise_FelixSome technicalities:Edited and produced with Adobe Audition. This is my first time using the program for a substantial project. As a photographer/videographer, audio is new to me. It’s been an intriguing process in figuring out how to make sound - sound good. I’m way out of my league, but I’m eager to learn.I recorded my audio with an Shure SM58 using the Zoom H6 as an audio interface. Austin used the apple earpods mic. I’m hoping the difference in mics doesn’t make the experience unlistenable.
