Playmates, the makers of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys since the 1980s, has hired a law firm to... defend the brand?! This after Playmates had the TMNT license revoked and given to Mattel. We don't know the details of the upcoming suit, but it might be Playmates trying to argue that they had a hand in creating the TMNT brand that we all know today and they could be trying to block Mattel from taking the license.
