On this episode of the podcast I sat down with one of a my really close friends, Chad Rood. Chad is a high school principal in Central Texas. During this conversation we dive DEEP into the current state of education both in Texas and across America. We cover a wide variety of topics including teacher pay, education funding, safety in school and the relationship between schools and law enforcement, dealing with the new social climate in schools, bullying, standardized testing, and MUCH more. I think it was a great insight as to what what is REALLY going on in our schools by someone who is well read, well spoken, and has boots on the ground in a high school everyday.
