There is much debate about the tithe but God is more concerned about the spirit of generosity than the exact amount. Malachi addresses the failure of the leadership in his day to protect and provide for the people. That was the reason for the tithe in the first place.

We live in a world trying to throw away the old for their new ideas but in the process are losing our way from the Word of God. There are covenantal relationships which we must honor and guard for our sake and our children's. The prophet Malachi addresses this sad loss.

Malachi gives us a challenge as we return to our sanctuary worship. He calls on us to heed and obey God and recognize Him for His love so that our spiritual life may be renewed and our worship worthy.
