This understanding reveals that Yeshua came not to abolish the Torah but to fulfill it, demonstrating how we should walk in righteousness after receiving new life. Once redeemed, we need guidance on how to live in a way that pleases Yahweh. The Torah serves as this perfect law of liberty, providing freedom from sin, bondage, and destructive patterns while leading us into life and blessing. Rather than being burdensome, Yahweh's Word becomes our teacher, discipling us in paths of righteousness. The prophetic promise of the New Covenant involves Elohim writing His Torah upon our hearts, transforming us from within. This internal transformation enables us to walk according to the Spirit rather than flesh, fulfilling the Torah's requirements through love. Yeshua's sacrifice removes condemnation while establishing us as servants of righteousness. The Word of Yahweh remains our guide for holy living, offering wisdom, correction, and training in righteousness. Through circumcised hearts and renewed spirits, we discover that Torah observance flows naturally from an intimate relationship with our Creator, bringing joy and spiritual vitality to those who embrace this covenant walk. This post discusses the implications of Genesis 12:3 regarding the relationship between the United States and Israel, particularly in the context of recent conflicts involving Israel. I question whether the passage is a biblical command that believers to bless the modern nation state of Israel. I also explore the concept of covenant as it relates to this blessings and curses provision of the Abrahamic Covenant. Covenant Significance: We look at the importance of the covenant established between Yah and Avraham, which extends to his descendants, influencing how nations interact with Israel.   Interpretation of Genesis 12:3: I argue that Genesis 12:3 is a prescription rather than a command, suggesting it reflects a reality of blessings for those who support Israel and curses for those who oppose the covenant relationship that exists between Abba Yah and Israel.   Modern Political Context: I seek to highlight the divided opinions in the U.S. regarding support for Israel, particularly in light of recent statements from political figures referencing biblical support for Israel.   Broader Implications: The blessings and curses mentioned in the covenant are seen as applicable not only to Israel but to all who enter a covenant relationship with Yah, emphasizing the need for obedience to Yah's Torah.   Covenant Relationship with Yah: I stress that the covenant relationship is pivotal for understanding the dynamics of blessings and curses, which are tied to how individuals and nations treat Israel. Conclusion on Support for Israel: Ultimately, I conclude that support for Israel should be aligned with the principles of Yah's Torah and the teachings and example of Yeshua Messiah and reflect a genuine love for His chosen people as expressed in His covenant relationship with them, rather than blind political allegiance.

The Purpose and Power of the Ruach HaKodesh The Ruach HaKodesh moves with divine purpose—not merely for signs and wonders, but to transform believers from within. Throughout Scripture, from Joseph to Solomon, from David to the apostles, the Spirit equipped Yahweh's servants with wisdom, understanding, and power. While many seek spectacular manifestations, Yeshua teaches that the true mark of the Spirit is walking in Covenant Relationship, evidenced by a heart of obedience. As Ezekiel prophesied, Yahweh places His Ruach within us "that they may walk in my statutes." The Ruach brings conviction of sin, guides into all truth, and empowers believers as witnesses. At Shavuot (Pentecost), the outpouring resulted in repentance, healing, unity, and bold proclamation of Mashiach. The ultimate evidence of the Ruach's presence isn't merely spiritual gifts but transformed hearts bearing fruit—love, joy, peace, and faithfulness—as we walk according to Yahweh's ways. Check it out

INTRODUCTIONStories of the brave, acts big and small, sacrifice and service are what we remember today. Like the story of Vietnam War hero JimmyG. Stewart, an Army staff sergeant from West Columbia, West Virginia - one of the 58,000 Americans who lost their lives in combat during the conflict. When five fellow Soldiers of his six-man squad were wounded near An Khe in May 1966, Stewart held his position to protect his men, crawling through heavy fire to retrieve ammunition from his comrades and tossing back enemy-thrown grenades. When reinforcements arrived, 23-year-old Stewart continued to fight and was eventually killed while holding his position. The wounded he gave his life to protect were recovered and evacuated. A year later, he was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. This year marks 50 years since the last combat troops left South Vietnam.I share this story for a few reasons relevant to today.Our veterans are potential stories like this. They willingly choose to put themselves in harms way for the sake of defending others from tyranny. On Memorial Day we remember those like Jimmy G. Stewart here for giving his life in the line of duty because he went above and beyond the call of duty to love others with his whole life. What a picture of Christ. We honor our veterans as they put themselves in a position to do that for others.They fight of an imperfect nation that is founded on principles gleaned in part from scripture that empowers her citizens to live differently in all of life. We remember these who have fallen and these who serve our country in this way, we see in Genesis 8:1 that God remembers his promises to Noah meaning he is moved to act mercifully on behalf of sinful people in this world.We will see how precious human life is to the Lord. Stewart saw it as worthy of his own which is at least in part why he was willing to sacrifice his own. At least twice in scripture, Rachel and Hannah, saw barren women be remembered by God and given a child, the desire of their heart. God sees you in your pain even if that pain is of your own making. He remembers and this moves him to act mercifully and redemptively. Redemption of sinful people is at the forefront of his loving acts.The thief on the cross calls on Jesus to remember him when they cross over. Jesus remembers him and says today you will be with me in paradise. This is a great picture of what God remembering looks like.His acts on our behalf are in light of our needs...our greatest needs. God takes sin seriously. Sin has consequences. And Noah believed that God's word is trustworthy. So he believed and acted accordingly building an ark to save his family from God's flood of holy judgment. And that ark saved his family and a remnant of the animal kingdom.
