A podcast about living.
Matty Valdez & Josh Highburger
The first episode of 2021. New year, same podcast. Excited to share this one with everybody, figured we might as well bring in the new year right; with Bloodgood and CS Lewis, of course.
Josh's first solo episode... not that it was a tough one due to the great guests that joined for the episode. Keyla, Aby, and Josh discuss a wide range of topics, but most importantly mac n cheese. Because God is good, we all know that, but that Cracker Barrel mac do be hitting different ¯_(ツ)_/¯
So we'll be real with y'all, the audio on this one's a bit wonky. There were some settings in the recording software that wasn't a big fan of us throwing four microphones at it, but it's still totally listenable. But if we're being honest, it's by far one of the best episodes so far, and we think you'll agree. Come on in and give it a listen.
Matty pulled another solo episode this week with Joshua Smith, conversation including apple sauce AND accepting the Father's love. They said it couldn't be done, but here it is, episode 11.
The longest episode yet? Well sure, and for good reason. We'd list it all out here, but that might just ruin the point. Come listen in, it's a good one.
This was a long one, but not long-winded. Some great conversation about all sorts of people and places and things, you'll enjoy it.
Matty went solo with Shawn Gilcrease this week talking about all sorts of every which thing and matter. It's a good one, we promise.
Matty and Josh get into some chats and chits, it's a good one. Come hang out.
A conversation between hosts Matty and Josh with this episode's guest Shana, getting to know more about her favorite ice cream, candy, and the drive in her life to continue God's work in Victory Camp and her overall calling. Kept it pretty light, basically.
Shenanigans ensue. Watch your toes or they might just get stepped on.
A conversation between hosts Matty and Josh with this episode's guest Bunk, taking time to chat about his upbringing, testimony, what it means to be available for God to use you in ways you couldn't ever dream of, and more. It's a good one, tune in.
A conversation between hosts Matty and Josh with this episode's guest Jess, talking about her long-lasting relationship with food, faith, the meaning of following what God's plan is versus hers, and how she finds the best ways to seek out and connect with authenticity in her life.
A conversation between hosts Matty and Josh with this episode's guest Jordan, talking about his experience as the youth director for LS Church in Alvin, TX, the evolving nature of what role social media plays in today's teenage generation, and more.
A conversation between hosts Matty and Josh on life, covering some backstory on Josh's growing up, the role that social media plays in our society, and what is versus what could be the future of community and friendships in the times we're all living in.
