In Part 2, Les calls Rey Parra, frontman for Sacred Warrior. Rey reminisces about band beginnings with his close teenage friends who got saved, broke up, then re-formed with a mission to reach youth for Jesus. The band is back together in top form to close out the festival at the BMI Event Center in Versailles, Ohio September 3rd! Adel interviews Bloodgood frontman, Les Carlsen, about his exciting solo appearance. In the first Annual Immortal Christian Rock Festival in February, 2022. Charles Shreyvogel was an Eastern artist who painted famous Western scenes. His favorite model was also decidedly non-Western. Greene County's Kenny Bloodgood recounts tales of his great-uncle Grant and his unlikely appearance in some of Schruyvogel's most famous paintings. On Friday, July 29th, the world lost Michael Bloodgood, one of the pioneers of Christian metal music, and founding member and bassist of his namesake band. Michael had suffered a stroke in February just one night after the band debuted their upcoming documentary, “Trenches of Rock,” with a special sneak screening and Q+A session hosted by Chris Jericho, followed by what turned out to be Michael Bloodgood's last live concert performance. Jessica Bloodgood never had a set idea for how her life should go, instead she just let her life happen. In the second half of Laura's conversation with her good friend, Jessica talks about the changes she's made in her career from working on a dude ranch to now becoming a non-profit fundraiser. She also shares how she's dealt with difficult changes in her personal life and having to pivot in ways she never imagined.

Neither had much luck with relationships in the years that followed until they both got married within three months of each other... 20 years after they first met.
