Macaw, an original audio drama

Ron is rescued from the sea, but both Ernie and Earl die following him. And so, he finds himself quarantined in his room, as storms continue in the Bermuda Triangle. Ron gets help from an unexpected duo and must escape the Macaw before it goes down like the Titanic.

Ron and Eberly's relationship deepens, as Ron continues to grow from confronting his troubled past. They attend a gala, where Ernie Bigman calls Ron to the stage to show everyone his gift of rolling snake eyes. Ron snaps, deciding everything around him is fake, and to prove it he jumps off the cruise ship into stormy waters. Two others follow him in.

Ron is forced to confront his past, as he explores the motivational programs aboard the “Macked Up” cruise that he has thus far ignored. Finally, with the help of Ernie Bigman and some serious honesty, he has a personal breakthrough.

Ron embraces his newfound popularity as “Snake Eyes” and tries to keep his dark past from surfacing. He realizes he's starting to have feelings for one of his dinner mates, a romance novelist named Eberly Meadows. An invitation to the mysterious layer of Ernie “Macked Up” Bigman and the appearance of an old fling turn things upside down.

Ron begins to loosen up, as he settles into cruise life and builds friendships. The impossible happens, as Ron continues to roll snake eyes at the Craps table, earning two million dollars in fewer than five rolls and shutting down the casino.

Ron embarks on a ten-day cruise, meeting his meal mates and befriending a gambling enthusiast named Earl Beefington, who becomes his guide to enjoyment. Ron discovers an unusual gift – he rolls “snake eyes” every time he plays at the Craps table.

Ron Ahmanson doesn't remember his last vacation. His 52 weeks of unused PTO have forced management to buy him a vacation and send him on it. So, Ron finds himself taking an all-expenses-paid Caribbean cruise that he doesn't want to be on. Even though it's paid for, he still obsesses about money. Even though he knows he needs to “get out more,” he hates the notion of socializing with regular dinner mates. And even though the LAST thing on Earth he wants to do is work on himself, this particular “Walmart on the water” turns out to be a fully immersive program into the motivational musings of an over-amped self-empowerment guru named Ernie “Macked Up” Bigman. Things escalate when our hero begrudgingly joins a man named Earl Beefington at the Craps table, where Ron winds up rolling snake eyes every single time, a veritable impossibility. This newfound superpower earns him gobs of cash and unwanted notoriety, thus hurling him into an existential shit storm that forces him to question both his buried past and his current reality. All as he becomes Macked Up's main target.
