Snake Eyes, a film starring Nicholas Cage, was released in 1998, but the creep factor is how the film is eerily about a political figure named Charles Kirkland, who gets shot in the neck by a sniper during a public event. Despite there being seemingly incredible parallels, many of the important correlations have been ignored in favor of assumed connections like the 9/10 date of the assassination, which was actually 9/19 in the movie, or the 911 in an Erika Kirk music video that was cropped to ignore other numbers. The film features a Charles Kirkland being shot in the neck, taken to the hospital, and later dying during a public event. A strange character is pumping his fist and chanting in front of the camera, a character named Tyler is involved in the conspiracy, and the iconic motifs of the ‘woman in red' and ‘woman in white' are present. There is also the all-seeing eye and lucky number 7. But beyond the real life parallels and other occult imagery, the movie involves a hurricane named Jezebel, which strangely connects to the real Charlie Kirk. Why? Terms like “conspiracy,” “psyop,” “false flag,” and “predictive programming” are used so often that they have lost their intended meaning. Nothing happens naturally anymore, and what does is often exploited. Rarely things occur that are outright staged as most conspiracies imply. [School of Movies 2025] Maybe THE most American of children's properties from the 1980s, G.I. Joe began life as a big doll that boys could dress up for war, but as public sentiment turned against the conflict in Vietnam, Hasbro nudged their chunky action figure towards more of an adventure brand. Then in Reagan's 80s, Joe was relaunched as A Real American Hero, the first massively successful multimedia campaign designed to sell toys through cartoons and comics. But following that period of relative peacetime, Joe fared less well in the 90s, and most definitely struggled in the 2000s. In this show we discuss the cartoon and its characters, the 1987 animated film and the 2009 attempt to launch a live action movie franchise with The Rise of Cobra. Is it really as jingoistic and flag-waving as first impressions convey? Is it gross and macho or actually kind of sweet? We have further listening on this matter with two After School Clubs on the 2013 sequel, Retaliation (the one starring the Rock) and the solo Snake Eyes outing from 2021 starring Henry Golding (plus the best animated show so far, 2010's Renegades)

Gary Sinise's stage, film and television career has spanned more than four decades. In 1974, at 18 years old, he co-founded Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company. 20 years later, for his performance as Lt Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump, he received nominations for Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Academy Awards, and earned the Best Supporting Actor Award from the National Board of Review and the Commander's Award from the Disabled American Veterans. Other film credits include Apollo 13, Ransom, Snake Eyes, Impostor, The Green Mile, Mission to Mars and The Human Stain. For over 40 years, Gary has stood as an advocate on behalf of America's service members. In 2003, after several USO handshake tours, he formed the “Lt. Dan Band” and began entertaining troops serving at home and abroad. Over the years, the 13-piece cover band has performed hundreds of shows for charities and fundraisers supporting wounded heroes, Gold Star families, veterans and troops around the world. In 2011, to expand upon his individual efforts, he established the Gary Sinise Foundation with the mission to serve and honor America's defenders, veterans, first responders, Gold Star families and those in need. The foundation remains committed to finding new and exciting ways to give back to those who sacrifice for our nation and encouraging others to do the same has become his personal quest and what he hopes will endure as a legacy of service to others. In 2008, he was given the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second-highest civilian honor awarded to citizens for exemplary deeds performed in service of the nation.
