Movie Review: The Shining

Mutant humans attack stranded travelers. Simple plot, undeveloped characters, excellent action, jump scares and scary violence. Overall worth watching.

Solid horror film with excellent plot twists, jump scares, and suspense throughout --

lights out is a 2016 horror film. we like it a lot if you ignore the gaps and boring spots i think we give it a 6 or 7 out of 10

the curse of la llorona or the curse of the weeping woman is a 1673 Mexican folk lure. its a fantastic horror film with many jump scares. we would give it a 7/10 overall but we give it a 10 for jump scares

fantasy island is based on the 1977 TV show about people who go on vacation to Fantasy island to get their fantasy's fulfilled. What they don't know is that their fantasy is twisted from the way they want it to be. We thought this movie was going to be fantastic because of the TV show, we were mistaken this movie was one of the worst we have seen so far. 1/10 wouldn't recommend spend your money on something worth watching.

Movie review 1922 a Netflix original film based on Stephen king’s work. Reminiscent of a Greek Tragedy which the main character (Wilfred James) sits out to kill his wife in order to keep the farm and looses everything.His comment, “murder is damnation” is a central theme.

One of the most successful films of all time incorporating the found footage technique. Our characters Heather,Mike and Josh enter the woods in search of solving the mystery of the Blair Witch never to be seen again,however, their footage is recovered. This unique perspective creates realism, suspense and a novel perspective for the viewer

Our 5 minute review of Stanley Kubrick’s, The Shinning based on Stephen king’s Novel. We discuss the building of suspense, foreshadowing and development of plot. We view this horror film as the gold standard for which we will compare other horror movies.
