Sorry things have been slow here, but I've almost finished updating my webpage to include every song I've ever done. Here are a couple of unreleased "classical" pieces I did a few years ago.
The Computer Learns to Love You Abstractly
Noise art.
I'm all done with February Album Writing Month. The results are here: http://fawm.org/writers.php?id=626
The second track off my 2008 February Album Writing Month album.
And the third track off my February Album Writing Month album.
I'm hard at work at February Album Writing Month (FAWM.org). I've completed three songs so far. Here's the first song.
This is a song I wrote probably four years ago. I had written it with the idea that it would be played by a band. At some point I decided to record the song myself on the computer. I should be posting a bunch of stuff in the next few days because I've made significant progress in my plan to put every song I've ever recorded on nathanbaty.com.
Sorry for the lack of updating - I've been preparing myself for February Album Writing Month. Here's a song from the album I put together last February, "Why Would You Care Where I've Been?"
Top Gun: The Musical - Featuring Tom Cruise rapping . . . I'm not even joking. I probably wrote this song eight years ago.
I wrote this song for you and then you gave it back to me . . .
The first track off my February Album Writing Month album: Why Would You Care Where I've Been? The album can be downloaded in its entirety here: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=32226972&blogID=235702700
Okay, I'm going to throw the last of the Jay-Z songs out there. I'm going to post some works-in-progress sometime in the next few days (perhaps even later tonight). I actually have about three or four other Jay-Z songs that I put a bit of work into. My original goal was to put a beat to every rap from The Black Album. That still might happen. (Just to be clear, this song is titled "What More Can I Say?" - I accidentally posted the song "Change Clothes" under that title a few weeks ago. I fixed it but my Itunes still has the title wrong. Sorry for the confusion : ( [that is a sad face])
Here's another Jay-Z song from The Black Album, probably the best one I've done. Rapping by Jay-Z, music by me.

Here's a demo of a new song. Sorry for the lack of updates (I spend roughly ninety-percent of my blogs apologizing for a lack of posting), but I've been playing too much online poker. I have probably five or six demos that are in various stages right now.
Here's a song from ~2000 that features a sample from The Warriors. This song also features a drum solo . . . by a drum machine. More new stuff soon, I promise.
I wrote this not too long ago - I would look up the blog where I first posted it, but eh . . .It's a fairly ridiculous song. The title pretty much says it all.
