Precious Mess

What kind of "pain" are you willing to go through to achieve your goals? Most people are not fortunate enough to just wake up one day and realize that they've accomplished all of their goals.  For the most part every goal comes with a certain amount of hard work and pain.

The Precious Mess wants you to recognize your worthiness even while you are working on your worthiness. We are all works in progress  but , at the same time we all have worthiness.

Proverbs 13:12--Hope deferred makes the heart sick. In this episode, Silberia Garcia talks about the times in her life where her hope was deferred. She encourages you to continue to have faith through the wait.   How you respond is the key.  Don't dwell in the negative.

It's been almost 2 years since I've gotten behind the microhone to record an episode. The enemy would attack and shut me down every time I planned on coming back. On this episode I want to give you an explanation on why I've been gone so long and what has brought me back.

Silberia reminds you that The Gifts from God don't always come wrapped in nice little packages with pretty bows. She wants you to recognize that you have to put in a little work whenever you are asking God for the desires of your heart.  He will provide but that doesn't mean that we don't have to work for it.  

Silberia shares her story of giving up "control" and letting God take care of it. She knows how hard it is to give up control.  She has been through it.  She wants you to "let go" of your "situations" and let God handle it. The hardest part about letting go and trusting God is trusting that He works on His timing...not ours. She wants you to trust Him with all of your heart.

How much can change in 1 year? Silberia is living proof that a lot can change in one year.    She wants you to remember that no matter what you kind of storm you are going through...No matter how messy your situation is...You are just going THROUGH the storm...storms don't last forever.   And you are still Precious not matter how bad the storm or the mess you are going through right now.

Silberia wants to remind you that no matter how messy your situation is...YOU ARE PRECIOUS This episode was recorded on the day that a memory popped up on Silberia's Facebook Page.   It is the anniversary of Sil and her boys moving into Shiloh Place. The message here is to Trust The Lord With All of Your Heart.  This moment is a huge moment in the journey of The Precious Mess

In this episode, we focus on the great things happening at Shiloh Place in McKinney, Texas.   We are joined by Ashleigh Fanning (Development Coordinator) and Silberia Garcia. Silberia is a graduate of the program at Shiloh Place and you will be blown away at the story she has to tell. Shiloh Place is a ministry to single moms and their children who are homeless or “at-risk” of homelessness.  The program provides assistance with housing, childcare and tuition for up to two years with the goal of seeing our families move into a self – sufficient lifestyle that will stand the test of time.
