"Story Shaped" is a podcast hosted by Matt Price. Each episode will tell someone's story, as we help them discover how the shape of their story, can help us shape our understanding of the greatest story of all: the Gospel.
Paul Gibson started out with a small idea of God defined by the strict, holiness experience of his childhood. Nevertheless, God kept showing up outside of the limited box of Paul's expectations. His story will encourage you to keep looking for the truth of the Bible to break through cultural barriers. Jesus did not come to discriminate and segregate for the benefit of a few. Jesus came to reconcile the world to God by breaking barriers, even the the barrier of the grave. Share Paul's story with someone who needs to be encouraged to expect more from the love and power of God.
As a child, Linda McCrary began to sing to audiences that seemed to only grow. Singing was all she knew and all she was. He reached into her mess and pulled her out. He even gave her new songs to sing, and she has become a blessing to audiences all over the world - not as a singer, but as a worshipper.
The Rolling Stones famously said "I can't get not satisfaction." Lin Manuel Miranda wrote "You will never be satisfied."
