I started my journey of writing the year of 2012, after my uncle had passed away. After his passing, I learned that my strong words of wisdom can be used as a vessel and testimony to others. This podcast is based on my book that will be released very soon, “Facing the Unseen, Surviving You”. I hope…
What do you do during those seasons where God is demanding you to wait? Which way do you turn when God is screaming, “just sit down and listen”. Do you continue to run from his voice or do just that, LISTEN? Stepping into your purpose doesn't always feel good. When we live through transitional seasons, sometimes we become so eager to reach the finish line that we fail to give ourselves the grace and patience that we need to really study what's before us. We rush the process. We seek everyone else but the Lord himself. We play Big Fella so small, ALL OF THE TIME. And yes, I refer to him as such! During this episode, “When God Is In It.”, I wish to carry you through my transitional journey and speak about the things that most individuals shy away from sharing.
Ah, WHAT IS UP FAMILY? Yes, we are still family despite the long break that was taken due to personal reasons and life itself. Just take to me as the unproblematic cousin that shows up at the family reunions with all good intentions; however, you just rarely hear from her from time to time (: Needless to say, I am super excited to be back in full fletch and action, kicking both my podcast series and episodes with bigger hits than before. Although it has been a year, a lot has happened and I am truly looking forward to telling you all about it over time. This episode specifically was literally recorded in my car on the way to my internship site. I heard God's voice distinctly tell me to begin speaking and so I did exactly what he said!! Opening back up this podcast on the topic of forgiveness is BIG to me as I have struggled with this a lot. (I told y'all before, we are transparent over here). I hope that we may continue to journey together and see our trials and tribulations through as one. ENJOY IT!
I am back, better than ever! The month of February was mentally and emotionally draining. As stated before, I always want to deliver something real and authentic in every podcast. I am still healing and working, however; I needed this episode on this podcast to transpire. This is the raw and uncut reality of temptation and relationships.
Often, we find ourselves being available to others when we are not right within. We don’t want to say “no” because we’re afraid that we’ll disappoint someone else. When does enough become enough? When do you begin to put yourself first? What about your self-care routines? Are you building? Are you okay? It’s time to focus on YOU.
As stated in the beginning of this episode, I want to share with you all my raw yet uncut truth of my life. I grew up in a predominantly African-American assisted living neighborhood where I was forced to grow up faster than others. That was mentally and emotionally. I hope that this podcast, specially this episode, sheds light upon your current situation. Yes, there is static in the background in some parts of this episode, but I truly believe that the word was just too good to start over. This wasn’t scripted, this was a message sent by God himself. But yes, I will be sure to improve the sound quality as time goes on. I pray that you enjoy the word!

This podcast is based on my book that will be released very soon, “Facing the Unseen, Surviving You”. I hope to shed light upon your life by sharing my insight about some of the things that I have experienced on my journey as well as a few poems that I have written within the last year or so. Continue to live. Continue to learn. Continue to grow!
