The Power of Your Personal Vision speaks to the title of my chapter in a book anthology written by me and 16 other women. The book is entitled Power Up, Super Women: Stories of Courage and Empowerment. It’s definitely not just for women. One of the greatest lessons that I can share to help empower others regardless of age, is the importance of having a personal Vision. Not a family vision, employer’s vision or one that your parents or friends have designed for you but your own Vision. I will share today, (at a high level) some of the tools, tips and resources that I used to develop my personal vision as well those that I use in my business as a Productivity Coach. The “layoff” helped me to identify my “why” for doing what I do as a coach. Suze Orman wrote an article for AARP in March 2020 entitled Smart Money 2020: 10 Steps to Your Ultimate Retirement. I've taken several of the tips and added my personal insights and tips that I believe you will find helpful. Suze says: The ultimate retirement plan includes: Being able to envision better things ahead is what makes the so-called golden years truly golden. To give yourself a life where you are not constantly stressed about money requires making key moves today. Not waiting. Not hoping. Not giving up. Let's get started on the journey, no matter how short or how lengthy the trip may be. Make this personal!! Remember: Yes you too can say Done!

In June 2019, I published Episode 1 - When Life Hands You Lemons. Little did I know that this short and somewhat light-hearted story based on my love of "lemonade" would be a timely message today in light of the circumstances surrounding the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Let's take the sour "Lemons" we've been handed via the COVID-19 pandemic and reach for the "sweetener" e.g., tools and resources available to you and me to make your version of "Lemonade".

When life hands you lemons the old adage says, we should make lemonade. Is it really just that easy? I'm thinking like with most things in life, that it is not as simple as it sounds. I pondered this question, just a little and in this podcast I share my thoughts.
