Creating VM is not rocket science in ESXi and it is quite similar to creating VMs in any hypervisor like VM Ware or VirtualBox. In the last article, we did deployment and configuration of ESXi Server on Bare-Metal machine. In today’s article, we’ll deploy a VM on ESXi Server with Oracle Linux 7. For better understanding I would recommend to refer to my own written article on this here

You, being an IT guy, must be aware of Virtualization and must have had  created VMs too on OS level hypervisors like Oracle’s VirtualBox or VM  Ware. These type of Virtualization is achieved on the top of Host OS  i.e. Windows, Linux or Mac. However, in this episode, we’ll be going to see  a Bare Metal Virtualization in which, there will be no middle OS between Hypervisor and Hardware.  Yeah, you read it correctly. We will directly deploy a hypervisor on  Hardware and there will be no OS. which can help us achieve more Stability, Scalability, and Security in developing a Virtualized Environment. For better understanding I would recommend to refer to my own written article on this here

VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing, which allows us to access GUI of our server remotely. Though we DBA or Application Admin or a Developer does most of our task by connecting to our server via SSH-TTY tunnel.  However in some cases we need to have GUI access of the server to  perform certain tasks, which needs a Display. We’ll just need to have  VNC Client Application to access it. So in this episode we’ll see how to  setup VNC Server in easiest way on your Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 / RedHat Enterprise Linux 6, however this is demonstrated on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.7. For better understanding I would recommend to refer to my own written article on this here
