After that deployment Randy attended the Special Forces Qualification Course at the age of 35 and upon being selected he was assigned to 5th Special Forces Group. While serving in Iraq with 5th Group in December 2006 his vehicle was struck by an EFMP, suffering multiple injuries to his lower body and 3rd degree burns. April hails from Lanesville, Indiana. She is a Certified Registered Nurse, Athletic Trainer, and Forensic Nurse Examiner. During her life April has overcame learning disabilties, mental illness, sexual assualt, addiction and is continuning to fight an acoustic neuroma brain tumor. All while completing her three degrees and numerous certifications. April spends her free time with her fiance' JD, and their two dogs. She enjoys reading, cooking and spending time outdoors, especially hoining her firearm marksmanship.
Bobby Woods CPT(R) USARA native of Texas Bobby holds Graduate and Post Graduate degrees from the University of Georgia. He served as an Infantry Platoon Leader in 3rd Platoon B Company 1-502nd 101st ABN AALST. Bobby was shot in the head by an enemy sniper August 8, 2010 in Zwari District, Afghanistan. He is currently the owner of Dawg Woods Farm and is a part of BMWoods Enterprises.
Pat is a native of Denton, Montana and enlisted in US Army just a few months prior to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Pat served as a mechanic during the intial invasion of Iraq, and was a part of the epic run to Bagdhad. Pat was wounded when he was hit with an rpg amputating his leg above the knee, after multiple surgiers Pat wound up losing his leg at the hip. Pat is an avid outdoorsman, wicked good athlete, and a devoted husband and father.
John McAfee (Mac)Is the host of the Perseverance Podcast, Owner Operator of Blackhorse Rifle Company, a former two sport college athlete, college and professional football coach and veteran of OIF VII-VIII, and OEF IX. Mac was injured while on deployment to Afghanistan in 2010. Since his injuries he has stayed involved with other Veterans transitioning from military service, trying to provide avenues to a healthy recovery, and fulfilling life post service.
